I purchased all five colors to correspond to the different iced teas that we keep in the fridge daily. In this one I keep black tea, of course! The Ceylon Sonata iced tea pouches steep perfectly in this pitcher. This is made from very durable, BPA free, non-staining materials. It screws together tightly to prevent spilling or leaking when laying on its side. The 68oz size is perfect for storing in my refrigerator door or laying on its side on the shelf. The only criticism I have is the pour spout gets choked out after pouring about 8oz, then you have to tip it back to allow air in. It might be annoying to some, but I value the leakproof sealing over my concern for the pouring issue, so not a deal breaker for me. The other concern is the lid. It’s a similar concern to the item mentioned above. The lid is pretty tight, therefore, can be difficult to unscrew. I’m a pretty big guy, so it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but it might be too difficult for those individuals that don’t have the hand strength to untwist it. Due to these factors, I rate these pitchers at 4.5 stars. Overall, I love them, but some might be annoyed by the two concerns I’ve described.

I purchased this for a gift and loved the look of it so much that now I am purchasing myself one too!

I like this little pitcher. Fits well in the fridge and the pouches are fully soaked.

Reliable and easy to assemble, though the filter is a bit tricky to clean sometimes. But overall a great pitcher! I use it for big batches through the week

I have cold tea now and i can THRIVE in my iced tea indulgence!!

★★★★★

This is not my first pitcher! I love them for cold brewing. I make a variety of teas for my dinner guests. All are crowd pleasers. You won't regret this purchase!

★★★★★

I love this pitcher especially when I can lay it down in my fridge and yes, it is airtight! Making iced tea is so easy now.

★★★★☆

Love the new design that allows the pitcher to fit in the fridge door or lying down on a shelf. I haven’t used the inner basket yet as I have used iced tea bags so far but I love how easy it is to clean this one thanks to that removable bottom. I haven’t had any leaking at all so far. The only thing I would like to see is maybe some marking to show you where to line up the top when putting it back on so that it will line up properly each time. It took me a bit of time to figure out where the start point had to be for the lid to end up in the correct spot. Overall a great iced tea pitcher. @adagioteas

I've used this pitcher six or seven times now, and for the most part, it does its job well. You certainly can put the full pitcher on its side in the fridge, and that is handy in a smaller space. I've only had the pitcher leak a little bit like that once, and that may be due to a failure in tightening the lid all the way. It has also held up with no issues after washing in the dishwasher, so super easy to clean.
My only gripe with the pitcher is the closing mechanism. The inner top can be finicky when you're putting it on the outer lid, and the silicone strip acting as a seal comes off if you look at it wrong.

This did successfully avoid leaks, but then was sometimes also hard to pour out of.

★★★★★

I actually bought this pitcher to use for making Joi almond milk in and it works great for that (I'm sure it'd work great for tea, too, its construction is great!)

★★★★★

Perfect, fits in my fridge door and holds a good amount of tea! I also love the lid

Love this pitcher! I have used it for both iced tea and iced coffee. Holds way more than I originally thought it would. Also, dishwasher safe!

★★★★★

I like this pitcher a lot the only issue I have with it is that the lid sometimes doesn't line up with the spout when closing but I know that's more my fault than the product.

★★★☆☆

I bought this as a gift but ended up returning it. The recipient struggled with aligning the lid.

★★★★★

Amazing for cold brewing tea and fits great in my fridge

★★★★★

I absolutely love this pitcher! I will be purchasing at least one more for myself and probably more as gifts.

it serves the purpose, i guess, but with bad knees and hips and i abhor standing there in the morning waiting for the the tea to pour into my cup. i get that some people want to lie the pitch flat(?) in their frig but that's not me and without a hole in the pitcher to give air, the liquid simply airlocks and it takes FOREVER to pour even a 16oz cup of tea! also, it's only a matter of time when that o-ring gives out and you wont be able to lie the pitcher flat anymore so why not accommodate the majority of your users by putting the hole in there and allow some air flow and tea flow? so frustrating... i guess i have to drill my own hole in the meanwhile.

★★★★★

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for- it works perfectly- keeping the tea leaves where they belong, while giving them room to do their thing.

★★★★★

Such a versatile pitcher! Love how it can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher if need be as well as the more compact look of it for the fridge!

I've had this for about a week now, and I was a bit perplexed that literally no instructions came inside the box. I'm not a fan of making assumptions, so I checked the product page, and there are a few pictures describing how it works. Here's my feedback:

- It feels cheap, especially considering all components are made of plastic.
- The steeper that holds the tea leaves does not securely snap into place after rinsing everything, leaving some wiggle room after reattaching it to the lid.
- My main gripe is with the clear lid at the top, as the ring seal has come off a few times, and I had to guess which direction to put it back on, using my best judgment.
- I've been turning the clear lid counter-clockwise about 90 degrees when needing to pour, which seems to work well without allowing leaves to enter my cup.
- The amount of leaves needed seems arbitrary, as adagio specifies 6-7 tbps on the product page. I made a sample and ended up using the entire pouch, which was around that amount of leaves, then filling the entire pitcher with cold filtered water.
- It does in fact get a good seal without leaking, but I still test it over the sink by turning it over after filling, as the turning lid does not always properly cover the spout 100%.

This could be a 5-star product with some minor improvements, which I hope adagio does. I'm a bit disappointed but overall content with my purchase, and I plan on continuing to use this daily. Hopefully it holds up over time.

Have had for about a week. Filled it, turned it upside down to make sure it wasn't leaking, then proceeded to lay it on its side on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Opened the bottom drawers of the fridge this morning (right below the bottom shelf) to find everything swimming in pools of tea, the pitcher now half-full. This, coupled with the complicated design of the filter/steeping system (you can't simply unscrew the top and remove the filter cylinder from above when the tea is finished steeping, you have to take everything apart and deal with the dripping everywhere), will be causing me to request a refund for this purchase.

★★★★★

Sleek and pretty easy to figure out. Holds a bunch of tea and seems to infuse well. My only problem is figuring out how to sweeten an entire pitcher of tea! Works great- is a little big for my fridge but it -just- fits so we re safe.

★★★★★

The pitcher works well and is reasonably easy to clean although the nylon mesh was stained and would not come clean (white) with just soap and water. Probably dishwashing will fix that. I brewed a 1/4 cup of loose tea in 2 liters of boiling water to make my standard iced tea starter. I was able to pick up the container and shake it for a vigorous infusion a minute after pouring in the boiling water with no leaks and just a minimum of hand protection for the bottom of the pitcher.
One thing that immediately confused me when I opened the shipping container was that the boxes for these pitchers said 'Coffee Pitcher.' I thought I had received the wrong item, but when I opened the boxes, it was obvious they were the correct item. There was no mention on the box of anything but coffee. Very weird.

★★★★★

Excellent pitcher and works perfect for iced tea. I don’t use the strainer but just put the bags in and let it steep overnight. Doesn’t leak at all, even when holding upside down!! Love it!

These are really nice ! I havn't tried to lay them down yet, but the fact they're so long and skinny makes them fit in my fridge door just fine !

★★★★★

I love this pitcher. Although I have other infusion pitchers, this one is not as tall making it especially nice to store in my refrigerator door compartment. Also, I am impressed by the screw top closure which has a unique cap design allowing for a mere twist to cover the spout. You won’t be disappointed.

★★★★★

works really well for iced tea. we love it and will probably buy another.

★★★★★

Great for making some iced tea :) Keeps the tea leaves in place.

★★★★★

Perfect pitcher for tea! Seals very well. Only complaint is the rubber ring comes off sometimes and you have to put it back on.

★★★★★

I just got this, and I put some citron green tea in it and filled it with water. It, so far, has been great and it seems like it is an excellent method to make iced tea. I really dig it!

★★★★★

I bought this as a gift for my best friend and she couldn't stop raving about it. She said it was the most well-designed tea pitcher she had ever owned and couldn't thank me enough.

I bought two of these pitchers, color coded for caffeinated (this one) and herbal cold brew tea (the white one). As I mentioned in my other review, these are clearly purpose made for cold brewing tea rather than coffee, and have a number of nice features (space efficiency, a tab on the lid to cover the spout) that make them a pleasure to have. The pitcher loses a star because the pour opening has a backflow problem and I end up getting a lot of glugging and a slow flow if I just hold the pitcher over my glass the way I expect to be able to. It's still a pretty good pitcher despite that one flaw.

Edit: Thanks for the update, Adagio. I was having the backflow issue even with the lid off - it's caused by the infuser basket, not by the clear top, and removing the infuser completely resolves the problem.

The rubber gasket fell off the lid before I was able to see where exactly it was supposed to be and now I am not sure the gasket is in the right place. Sometimes it leaks when I try to put it on its side. On those occasions when it doesn’t leak, I love the rectangular design that prevents it from rolling off the fridge shelf. Innovative idea!
