I was so excited to use his. Unfortunately it is not the greatest product. It has leaked every time I have used it. The screen basket looks like it has small holes but the sides where it clips in lets a lot of the tea particles through.

I really love this bottle. I like that it keeps my tea warm but not super hot. Insulated bottles are often frustrating because they stay way way too hot for a long time. It is easy and convenient to use. Ideally though it would be more fragile. I dropped it, and the inner layer shattered :(. But I bought a new one because I like it so much, so ultimately I recommend.
Not the case here. Be careful to tighten the lid well before flipping.
I absolutely love this!!! I was looking for something like for years. It has a loose leaf capsule at the top with a fine stain steel Infuser. It’s my favorite way to bring with me wherever I go.after using after a week or two the tea some tea leaves found it way past the filter. The side hooks that holds on the side to hold the infuser in place the tea leaves can by past the infuser
Update my my new one just broke by it self out of the blue after 3 weeks of use.I am second doubting myself for repurchasing this item.
I really enjoy it but I do wish there was a way to prevent leaking when opening from the strainer lid.
I love this I love the filter it makes things very easy when I'm on the go it's very light to carry I would recommend it again
Very handy, didn’t leak. Two layers of glass prevent burns
I really like this travel tea tumbler. It is well made and easy to use. Tea stays hot for a good while.
Smaller than I expected (I'm bad at gauging sizes by number), but still nice! I like the infuser, though it occasionally leaks when turning if not exactly right.
ETA: Do not drop. I have unfortunately had to replace this with stainless steel because I am clumsy.
Love my activitea. It is my second purchase the first one top came apart. Super easy to use.
I like this travel tea canister and it's well-built. Just it's a bit heavy bc of the glass, which makes it not as appealing for travel. So just be prepared for the extra weight and you will like this product.
Since getting the ActiviTea travel tumbler, it has been my go to for drinking green teas “grandpa style” .I needed a tumbler like to replace a similar (but out of production) tea tumbler which I have had for over a decade. I have been all over the internet searching for a clear tumbler to drink my daily green tea and nothing seemed as perfect as this one from Adagio! My preferred way to use this is to place my leaves in the bottom, use the filter to keep the leaves in place and simply add hot water until the leaves are spent. I have used the ActiviTea as suggested, by adding leaves on top of the infuser and flip the vessel to infuse, and it does work that way. However, it is a bit messy with removing the infuser basket to drink the tea. Then where do I put the wet leaves in case I want to reinfuse the same leaves?! Also, It doesn’t seem like enough space to allow the leaves to fully unfurl. Another small concern I have is there is no way to remove the strap. Which doesn’t seem like that big a deal until it’s time to wash the parts. It kinda grosses me out that the strap keeps getting wet and over time I may just cut the strap off? The glass container seems sturdy because I was careless and dropped it in my hardwood floors and it did not break. The glass is thick enough to keep my tea warm but not too hot to hold or drink from. Even though I have shared some points that are negative, I really do like the ActiviTEA! The positive outweighs the negative. It is perfect for what I wanted it for and I am super glad I purchased it. Technically, I would give this 4.5 stars ⭐️ if it were advertised as a grandpa style green tea mug and the strap could snap on and off.
I wanted to love this. Really I did. A good idea with a sleek design, I imagined it would be the perfect grab and go, my hot tea ready when I got to work. But there isn't enough leg room for the tea to fully steep. I've experimented and had the tea in for more than an hour, (glad to say it didn't leak when inverted). Flipped it several times to encourage water movement, and still got under-steeped, now tepid, tea. The strainer does pop out, so if a deeper one could be substituted , the problem would be solved.
This is wonderful to use at work and as a great travel tumbler.
I love the travel bottle. It is just right in size.
The infuser was hard to get out the first time, and I wish you could take the strap off if you wanted to. (Annoying getting it wet while washing.)
Aside from that I like it a lot.
Update: I had to contact support and got help from Adagio as my bottle started leaking after one use. The rubber seal on the glass has completely broken off!! It would be better if the rubber seal was stored in the infuser lid, instead of glued onto the glass. If the replacement works perfectly I will update again.
I bought this as a high school graduation gift for my daughter who is also graduating from vo-tech school. I knew she would prefer this over the metal ToasTea. She just fines glass however it is made nice! I gave her the gift early so she could take it to school.
This worked great, but it broke so easily. The entire top separated from the bottom of the outer tube
Very nice cup, great quality, planning in getting another for my sister.
In love with this. Makes tea at work effortless, and it’s beautiful.
Is great to have at my desk for brewing at work. The infuser itself is a little weak and I need to agitate the water to get a strong brew but that's minor
This brew bottle is amazing! It allows me to take my tea with me while I travel. Definitely going to buy a second one.
Love how this works! Makes it easy to brew a single cup and take it with me when I’m running errands or headed to work.
I love the container, but it gets too hot to handle when steeping.
Very convenient for a morning tea you know you re going to rebrew and drink all day. @adagioteas
Here's the good: It looks nice, it keeps tea warm pretty long, it's VERY easy to clean.
Here's the eh: the glass is too smooth and picks up a lot of fingerprints/oil. Weird nitpick but I think this bottle would benefit from a silicone sleeve for a better grip, less smudgy look, and some shock absorption. Plus I think it would look very nice, especially if it came in a few colors. The silicone ring in the lid is fine, but I think it's weird there's a ring attached to the glass container instead of the filter bit. I also think it's weird (and bad) that the silicone ring on the glass is glued down when it could probably just pop on with a few design changes. Also, the adhesive on the glass's silicone ring isn't very strong and if you're not careful you can very easily pull it off.
Here's the bad: It leaks. I think it's mostly a design flaw but I wouldn't doubt that it's partially due to user error. I've found that the tea this thing can brew isn't very strong (not a lot of water can get to the tea, nor can it really diffuse out from the basket without agitation).
Overall I would give this 2.5 stars (but I can't do that so it gets 2). I plan on keeping it since it mostly works, and I don't think it's entirely bad but it *is* very... eh. It does its job as a cup and it does keep tea warm longer than the average mug, and as long as you don't invert it for an extended amount of time it probably won't spill. Probably. But since this product was designed to *brew* tea on the go and it... kinda doesn't do that very well, I wouldn't recommend it. It won't be as cute but I recommend getting a travel mug or tumbler made from stainless steel or something.
Absolutely fantastic! I have brewed several teas in this cup and my favorite part is to flip over the bottle and watch the color form. Makes my teas loving heart so happy! Perfect for travel!
Great for making tea in a hurry at work. The IngeniuTEA is great i love it but this thing is so much faster. @adagioteas
Nice container but wish it was plastic and not glass
This is my go-to tea infuser. It’s the perfect size for communiTEA packets. This is my second time purchasing this infuser. My previous one shattered (it fell from 4 feet onto carpet, but glass is delicate) after I’d had it for years. Here’s hoping this one lasts as long!
One complaint: there are still some large holes in the infuser, so I use a different fine mesh infuser when brewing.
It was really good i recently ran it through my dishwasher put it away next mornin brewed some tea with it and went to work only to find it cracked apart all along the threaded portion of the glass otherwise id highly recommend it over something like a run of the mill yeti tumbler which ive had issues with tea taste
This is great when you want to brew tea to take with you but don t want to wait around for it to brew. You can simply fill the container with water, put the tea leaves in the top part, flip it over to brew, set a timer, and go; simply flip it back when it s done brewing. The instructions say to take out the part with the infuser and just use the cap to cover the drink, but I just use the entire top as a cap: the water is low enough that it doesn t reach the infuser/leaves to over brew. The water part holds about as much water as a standard mug: it s not a whole lot of room, but it gets the job done and can be used for multiple brewings. The infuser itself is easily removable, but it is a small infuser and not ideal for larger leaf teas. Still, this is a very convenient to-go container and I m pleased with it.
Had to return this because I was dumb and did not realize that the full exterior was glass. :((( I would’ve broken it in less than 1 minute.
Smaller than I had expected, but it works well. For me it works best to put the tea loose inside the cup, so that the filter strains out the leaves as I drink. The filter area is too small to allow the teas I like to use this for to open properly.
I loved this so much but it fell over on the counter and cracked. Was scared to use it after that. Just wish the glass was a bit more durable. I like to let my teas cool and this allowed that.
I love this i have thus but it broke i have to buy another one
I like this item but I would prefer if there was a way to drink the tea without removing top completely but it meets my travel needs well.
This was a gift for my sister, who absolutely loves it. She is an avid tea drinker and takes this with her on her long commute to work each morning.
I LOVE my ActiviTea! I use it every day and take it everywhere. I prefer this to metal because it doesn’t distort the taste at all. I recommend this to anyone looking for their new go-to travel mug.
Super cute but it’s hard to get the lid screwed on right
Good but leaves fall through steeper which is disappointing. Other than that I enjoy it
I use ActivlTEA to make my tea it very good and keep my tea warm for one hour.
First one fell to the floor and smashed so I immediately had to order another one.
Great product that keeps my tea warm for a while and it is easy to clean. I'm still nervous because it's glass, but it has a little weight to it which makes me think it is sturdy. I wouldn't recommend dropping it. It does get warmer on the outside than the other travel cup that they have.
I love the concept but often have tea leaves come through the steeper. I’ve embraced drinking small tea leaves at this point.
I love the idea behind this, and it works very well. Some of the leaves leeched out through the infuser, but doesn't bother me too much.
Absolutely love this! I haven't tried this mix with matcha, but I have tried it with regular tea leaves and this is absolutely perfection. The one downfall is that I was not sure how I should drink my tea... I just unscrewed the top and drank from the glass... The only recommendation I would suggest is to include instructions on how to clean and use the bottle.
This is great. I bought two. One for work. I do wish it was a little larger, but it's still fantastic regardless. Keeps my tea warm for longer than a regular cup would.
I haven't decided if I really like this or not. While the concept is a good one, I can turn it upside down to steep and it works about half the time. The other half it leaks all over. I'm sure the problem is more me than the container because it doesn't happen every time, but I just can't figure out what I did differently when it does happen.
Update: ordered this item on June 2nd, on Sunday July 12th the entire bottom of the inside glass shattered when I poured my iced tea into the glass. The glass had been sitting in a strainer all night so it wasn't a situation where I switched from hot to cold. Thank goodness it was the inside glass so - whilst my tea was undrinkable - no one got hurt.
Some tea leaves gets into the rest of the drink, but not very many and works well and is easy to clean.
