The legend of Kelsey Allen: She arrived as a mystery shrouded in a drunken haze. Yet throughout various nights of broken memories a bond began to form. Before long her arrival became cause for celebration, and for good reason. Everyone was simply happier when she was around. Problems seemed far away, and ordinary nights suddenly had a sense of meaning and purpose behind them. As time went on, a friend group forged by alcohol became a family, yet one that never felt complete. Despite all our begging and all out pleas, it seemed like Kelsey would never move to Reno. For years we lived our lives considering her arrival an uplifting treat and her departure a sad but temporary loss. However, in that time a curious thing happened. She impacted so many lives and was so loved that it became impossible for her to stay away. And thus, like a wondrous miracle, she finally joined us in our humble little city. A group of brothers gained a sister, and i gained my very best friend. The love and joy that Kelsey spread with each visit became a permanent part of our lives, and that is why she is a legend.
