I've created this blend for my mother, who used to wake me in the mornings with a lively rendition of 'Rise and Shine.' When I grew older, I learned that she was no more a morning person than I was, and that faking enthusiasm at 7 am was one of the many ways she went above and beyond to bring light and joy into my life. I created this tea to drink with her . . . at around noon.
