Grandma's Story

I've lived far away from my Grandma for many years. Each time I would stay with her I would get a little homesick. Grandma would turn on the tea kettle and say 'Come sit on my lap and have some tea with me' She would always make a point of telling how she would dry her peppermint, spearmint and chamomile, just for such occasions. See the whole story gave time for the water to heat and for me to settle in to Grandma's lap and forget how far away from home I was. Once the tea was ready, we would talk about this or that, it really didn't matter for when the tea was gone I was ready to settle in for the night. Maybe it was the tea, maybe it was Grandma's Story, but I always sleep better after a cup or two.
