Mathematical Vanilla Caramel

I think 75 percent Vanilla and 25 percent Caramel makes a stellar flavored black tea-- somehow more actual Caramel taste to me than Caramel alone and, surprisingly, a more authentic Caramel taste than a blend having Caramel as the primary tea. This blend is stellar mixed 50-50 with a favorite unflavored white tea but steeped at the white tea's setting of 180/3 instead of the black tea's 212/3. Given my chosen percentages of 75 Vanilla and 25 Caramel, some sort of workaround is necessary when ordering the tin from Adagio. I'm going with tin contents of 70 Vanilla and 30 Caramel so additional Vanilla tea will need to be added at home-- an increase of twenty percent to achieve 90 Vanilla and 30 Caramel. That maintains the 3 to 1 Vanilla-Caramel ratio. However, that change means that a portion of the total tea quantity will exceed the tin's holding capacity and will need to be stored somewhere until there's room. And since both teas steep at 212/3 individually, by all means use the typical black tea temperature and timing-- 212/2 is a software glitch I reckon. ***REMEMBER***... add 20 percent more Vanilla to tin contents for intended/best taste. Weigh what's in the tin and multiply by 0.20 then add that much Vanilla and mix thoroughly. And since you know the formula, feel free to make yours with Decaf Vanilla. Whatever your preference! :)
