Growing up, Republic of Tea had this one herbal tea called Kids Cuppa that was pink when you added milk. It was fruity, sweet, and comforting. This is my best approximation of something I havent had in the decades Ive been out of elementary school. Luce (former assassin ghost and current grade-school student) isnt allowed to have caffeine on weekdays, so his younger brother/older guardian (its complicated) appeases him with something sweet after dinner. Goes well with a nice pastry, hot with lots of cream and sugar. Dont skimp! You only live once, you know.
