Part of a series of teas dedicated to my cat, Maxwell. Partially inspired by our house's tendency to refer to cat toes as blueberries, I wanted to make a flavor profile that hit pretty close to blueberry lemon pound cake. The triple blend of white, black, and rooibos teas helps cut through the bitterness of the black tea and buff up the fruit and citrus notes. Lemon is sometimes a tricky flavor to hold onto while brewing, so I added lemon verbena to really help cut that through and carry the blueberry along without overpowering it.
