Visiting the Broch of Gurness on a sunny day is magical. Everything is so clear and blue you feel like you could fall into the sky and sea alike. I added the citrus and blueberry as a reminder of the vitality of Gurness -the zest for life that just radiates everywhere- even as the stones stand as a reminder of times long dead. The early grey and lavender are added to be countering soothing notes and a reminder of the peace and somber air also present at the Broch of Gurness.
