Smooth and easy on the palette, but with the delicious fullness you expect from Earl Gray blends. Works great as sun brewed iced tea, or brewed normally, if you want it a bit stronger.
I wanted a tea that would have the Earl Gray flavor I loved, green tea for the anti-oxidents, and a touch of mint. After a lot of experimentation, this is what I came up with.
I fix this tea by putting the loose teas in a 2' tea ball, and dropping that in a 2 quart pitcher of hot water, about 140F. After about an hour, I remove the tea ball, and add 3/4 cup of Splenda. (3/4 cup of sugar would be fine, too.) The result is a delicious tea that has a lot of complexity. Give it a try.
