McConnell is just a little bit boring. Unlike Ryan he has no youthful spark, and unlike Schumer he doesn't have a comforting/annoying level of wishy-washiness. Oversteeping him a bit may be necessary, because a mere 3 minutes of him risks leaving the drinker a bit bored. He's basically a tolerable tea-equivalent to old people.
