This is a blend, that I personally created. As well the first blend, that I created in my personal tea series. This tea is base of one of original characters, L Ankou.
The Ankou is the harbinger of death of the Breton Mythology and folklore, known in the French region of Brittany, and some other regions of Celtic legacy. He is regarded as a protector for the deceased but a bad omen for the living. I however took creative licences, and took all the various stories about him, to shape my version of him, for novel in the works. And I can say with a doubt, this truly is how I manage his essences would taste like. As well the how the tea smells, is how I picture he would smell as well. I tried to think creatively here. As being a Reaper, a smoky blend seemed correct, and lavender is refereed to a lot when death is mention in myth/lore/rituals. Then the reason to why I added the vanilla? My version of Ankou is complex, but he is simple, when it comes to his wants and needs. Even if does comes off as being dark, and a force to be reckon with...The ones who truly known him, knows he has a heart of gold, and prefers only to show his true colours when behind doors.
