This tea is a spicy, smoky blend of black teas, inspired by Date Masamune's contact with the West, with echoes of the fire that scorched the blade Shokudaikiri Mitsutada. The clean, sharp flavor of cardamom makes it a good foil for plain sweets like shortbread or butter cookies. Or, add milk to round out the spices and let it warm you up all on its own.
