I don’t know if it’s just the scoop I received in my communitea, but the over powering flavor I tasted was licorice. Didn’t really care for this one. Was hoping for more of a creamy mint with the white chocolate.
Creamy white chocolate mingles with fresh mint for a delicious indulgence. Like a snowy wintry breeze, our White Chocolate Mint is as refreshing as it is soul soothing.

I’m not usually a big mint/chocolate fan, but I really enjoyed this blend! I think because it was so light, as the description noted. It was sweet, but not overly so. It was minty, but not cloying. The honeybush and rooibos were the perfect base. I think the honeybush’s sweetness overrides any rooibos woodiness. I added sweetener to up the dessert ante and make it extra scrumptious. This would be a great after dinner treat if you were watching calories. Happy Sipping!
What an interesting mix of dry tea ingredients as the CommuniTEA packet opens. As a fan of rooibos tea, this smells more minty and I spy a lone white chocolate chip among some blue cornflowers. This steeps into a robust amber delight. Seriously, this has such a great peppermint flavor. Adding ¼ teaspoon really kicks up the sweetness, making this taste like a peppermint dessert. What a great caffeine free tea. Tastes even better when cooled. It is a perfect summer tea, so I would love to have more. (5 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).
This is a sweet tea. The mints are refreshing. To thoroughly enjoy this tea, though, it would be helpful to like rooibos, as it’s the tea’s most distinctive flavor.
In the bag: Plenty of finely chopped mint and rooibos leaves. A healthy scattering of chicory root shavings. Several blue cornflowers. A single white chocolate chip.
On the nose (pre-steep): Mint sings clearly from center stage. White chocolate accompanies her in a backup role. Slightly cloying nose feel. Medium intensity.
On the nose (post-steep): Clear mint flavors. A tone of sugar. Mild intensity.
On the tongue: Balance of mint and white chocolate. Already sweet on its own.
I did not add sweetener since this blend carries a natural sweetness.
Opinion: A pleasant, quaffable tea. I would summarize it as a mint tea with accents of white chocolate. Not terribly complex but thoroughly tasty.
Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉.
I really enjoy this tea! It smells amazing and I love how the sweet white chocolate taste compliments the peppermint so well. This is an excellent caffeine free treat!
Really enjoyed this tea! The white chocolate was light, but still clearly present. The mint was the star and the rooibos helped the flavors meld together.
All ingredients were present in my communiTEA packet. Mint leaves were in abundance. Mint aromas were noted.
I had 3.16 grams of ingredients, enough for a 12.5 ounce steep. I steeped for 212°F, for five minutes.
When hot, a mild overall mild sweetness was noted. Mint flavors were moderate. Mild licorice and nutty chicory flavors were noted. No sugar was needed … the licorice and Honeybush provided that.
When warm, sweet Honeybush flavors were mild. Mint flavors were moderate to strong. Cinnamon zings and flavors were mild. Mild and nutty chicory flavors remained. Moderate and woody rooibos flavors were noted. White chocolate flavors were overpowered by others.
The woodiness of the rooibos in this blend was overwhelming. (5 mins @ 212ºF, no sugar)
Dee-o-licous! All the flavors in this tea blend together to make a yummy, tasty treat. The white chocolate is not overly done but instead a nice balanced partner to the mint. I couldn't pinpoint some of the flavors in this tea, like the cinnamon or licorice, but I believe they play a nice part in keeping this tea from just being an overly sweet mint. And it's caffeine free so it makes a perfect before bed dessert cup of tea.
I dislike red roobios but found this blend very enjoyable.
This is one of my absolute favorite flavors so far, and I really wish we could have more! I hope we can buy it properly soon.
This one tastes amazing. Neither the chocolate nor the peppermint are overpowering. It's a very nice blend for the afternoon.
Looking for some more caffeine free options. This one sounded interesting, and something for the sweet tooth at night. Not replacing my favorite honeybush banana nut, but a nice change of pace.
This is SO amazing!!! I am so excited to get more. I did add a little more white chocolate to sweeten it a little.
