White Chocolate Peppermint
Recommended steep 5minutes @212°F. I steeped for 5 minutes @200°F in approximately 11 oz of water with about 1.3 tsp of rock/adagio sugar.
This tea that smells delicious upon opening and is pretty with its white chocolate chips. The dominating aroma is the mint which I love. The aroma faded a little when steeping, but the flavor of mint was quite strong upon first sip once the steep was finished. I mostly tasted the mint, though there was definitely some whit chocolate underpinnings. It is a naturally sweet tea the blends better as it cools. I think it might be very nice steeped stronger and then iced. This was a very enjoyable tea for me and I would not hesitate to purchase it again. 4.5 stars from me.

While I thoroughly enjoy the individual ingredients, the sum of the parts was underwhelming and not amazing as I anticipated. That said it was not bad and I would drink it if offered, but I am not putting it on my wish list.

I hate rooibos. But this tea was really pleasant! The mint drowned out the bad flavors and brought out the sweetness of the chocolate!

This was a nice minty end to the day. It had a fresh peppermint twist with just a hint of chocolate at the end. CT 4/10/23. 3.2 g 212 for 5 minutes.

tasted a bit medicinal to me, sort of like trying to cover up the taste of Mylanta, the more I drank the nastier it became, not for me.

As someone who really likes mint, this was great! The flavor was reminiscent of peppermint bark more than other mint chocolate tea that I've had. The white chocolate seems to give this an extra level of sweet that really gives this an edge over similar flavored teas.

I'm not a big fan of white chocolate but this mix was tasty, I think I just like sweet peppermint with a touch of smoothness. The rooibos was a little odd, but it worked for me!

Good white chocolate flavor, which I’ve been missing from Adagio! The mint is… interesting. Peppermint AND spearmint duke it out… the chicory is a good additive, but the licorice works against the mint. If it was me I would subtly react either the licorice or the spearmint, there are one too many flavors here. Adding cream and sugar mellows them out a little bit, but it’s still a top-heavy battle that could use a little more nutty or savory flavors to balance it out.

CommuniTEA Sample: Didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Some good flavors but they seemed to fight with each other a bit.

I was so excited when I opened this packet because it smelled so good. I knew it would be a gamble whether I liked it or not though. I like almost all the ingredients but it’s that pesky red rooibos that’s my arch nemesis. It most definitely did not taste like it smelled. The mint was the dominant flavor, followed by the rooibos. There was a touch of creamy sweetness but not nearly enough of that or the peppermint to cover up that medicinal bitterness from the rooibos. This was a few sips and dump kinda cup for me today. Still thankful for the opportunity to try it though. 195° for 5 minutes.

Thankfully mint forward, even tones down the red roobios. I was nervous about the inclusion of licorice in the flavor profile, as I'm not a fan but didn't even notice it in my latte. I sampled this tea as part of the CommuniTea April 2023 box.

Tried this as part of Communitea and was excited to try something new. Unfortunately, this tea was medicinal peppermint which intensified with each sip. Guessing it is the rooibos I am picking up on which is a shame as many fellow members raved over this tea so I was hopeful to be the same.

This tea has the typical wet cardboard taste of red rooibos with a hint of mint and sweetness. Maybe cold brewed would be better?

8oz purified water @212 for 5 mins in electric kettle. CommuniTea pouch
This tea smells exactly as its name! A refreshing mint with a hint of white chocolate.
The steeped tea's scent keeps the trend with the mint, but the white chocolate seems to have disappeared from it. The mint has a quality almost like winter mint!
The steeped tea's flavor definitely contained mint, but still no taste of white chocolate. Adding 2tsp of sugar made this one quite tasty however!
Herbals are typically a miss for me, but the added sugar made this one a great cup!

I waited all day to try this tea. The chocolate and mint was well balanced. If I close my eyes, it reminds me of white chocolate bark at Christmas. Very enjoyable!

Consider me shocked as I strongly dislike anything peppermint, spearmint, or just minty. It tends to be overwhelming in a blend and generally unpleasant to my tastes. However, this was, perhaps, the only blend to handle mint [both spearmint, peppermint, and licorice to boot] beautifully. It isn't too strong, it doesn't consume the blend or dominate over the other flavours - it mixes well and adds to the blend. Don't get me wrong - of you're mint wary like me, it's still there and present. But it's more as a pleasant, lightly cool tang that fills the mouth.
The honeybush and roiboos' sweetness accentuate the chocolate notes, though the cinnamon seemed to have been lost amongst it all. Nor could I get a real white chocolate taste, but it was a very pleasant light, buttery, smooth chocolate flavour. I really enjoyed this one.

Mint speaks so softly
Not shouting, just whispering
In the library
He finds Honeybush
Who is sitting with Rooibos
For their study group
But where's chocolate?
She is zooming in from home
But her volume's low

I love chocolate mint. I really enjoyed todays communiTEA sample! It's just the right amount of mint to give that tingle and also helps with the rooibos that I am not always fond of. I enjoyed my cup plain.

Mint was a nice choice after over eating yesterday on Easter. This was soothing, calming, and sweet. I did not add sweetness, but you could if you want to play up those flavors. Nice herbal, refreshing cup. Cheers!

Nicely blended, slightly sweet minty tea. The honeybush and rooibos are in the perfect proportions to make a smooth base for the mint. Not a lot of chocolate flavor, but nicely balanced for my taste.

This tea was too heavy on the mint for me and not enough chocolate. I brewed it at 195 for 3 minutes and took a taste. The chocolate was MIA in my packet. I removed the tea leaves, emptied the basket, and added two healthy pinches of cacao nibs, set it in the cup, and steeped for another 3-5 minutes without the mint blend. I don’t think it came through enough for me, so I think the next time I will try the slightly sweeter cocoa powder.

Maybe I had too high of expectations for this one. I was hoping the white chocolate, as weak as it was, would overpower the taste of the rooibos, it didn't. However, the mint showed up, as did a hint of honeybush and cinnamon, to save the day. Would have tasted better with some real chocolate, not waxy white!

I liked this more than I thought I would given that it's a mix of teas I'm not a big fan of. The mint tea is tempered by the honeybush, and the white chocolate is subtle but present. Not a tea I would choose for myself, but I did enjoy my cup of it today.
