This tea definitely have a marshmallow flavor to it. When I added some sugar it bought out the marshmallow flavor more. The only reason I just found this blend to be just okay is because I'm not a big fan of marshmallow.

If you are a fan of vanilla this is pretty nice but light in flavor. It didn't really have a marshmallow flavor, but did have a subtle sweetness from the sprinkles. I didn't get any other flavors that stood out in it. The flavor was just just much lighter than I was expecting so I will have to try it again using more leaves/less water.

Received in communitea box. I traditionally loathe rooibos tea, so my hopes were non existent when I read the ingredients. However, I was pleasantly surprised when there were NO traditional elements of rooibos (mulchy taste and smell) when brewed. It was lightly sweet and tasted of vanilla. A nice and relaxing tea full of surprises.

Perfectly sweet and marshmallow-y! Definitely tastes a bit like peep marshmallows and vanilla, and the green rooibos base provides a slightly grassy flavor. This is a great caffeine-free treat and the sprinkles are extremely adorable!

I was glad to see that the Easter contribution to the CommuniTEA box was this one. I’d seen the adverts for it on the site but had a feeling that this wasn't going to be a repeat cuppa for me, but I was curious to try a marshmallow-flavored tea. My suspicions ultimately proved correct insofar as my own tastes; however, this blend does have merit and I could definitely see this being a crowd-pleaser, particularly for those with a sweet tooth or for kiddos.

This tea has a nose on it that I can best quantify as 'sweet, warm and fresh.' Perhaps like a newly spun cotton candy from the fair, albeit the unflavored version. Warm sugar, but not quite caramelized. I assume the 'warmth' is coming from the rooibos. There is also a hint of freshness from the marigold. The sprinkles are a visual amusement: blue bunnies, yellow ducks, pink eggs.

In terms of taste, I found this one quite balanced. Again, the main flavor that came across to me was 'light and sweet.' Keep in mind that I typically do not take my tea with sweetener, so I think the included sweetness of this by way of the sprinkles was the main flavor on the initial steep, which I did according to package directions. The second steep I did with cooler water (190-ish) and then I let it sit for about 10 minutes. This produced more robust 'toasted' notes. I actually think that the second steep was closer to the 'toasted marshmallow' flavor that the blend purports. This also may have been because the initial steep took more of the sugar from the sprinkles, however.

Overall, I found this an enjoyable seasonal blend… kids would also get a kick out of this, in no small part due to the sprinkles. (If you want to have spring tea parties with the kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews, get this!) My one minor nit actually has to do with the sprinkles… while they are cute, they do tend to disintegrate into amorphous blobs after a bit, which isn’t particularly visually appealing and reminded me a bit of melted Lucky Charms. It’s not the prettiest tea for your clear infuser, basically. However, it’s too sweet for me to enjoy on a frequent basis, so it’s not a wishlist tea for me. I would say that if you typically take sugar in your tea, this may be more to your liking, and the fact that there’s no caffeine in it is a nice dongle. And, again. Kids.

The CommuniTEA packet for today smelled like vanilla marshmallows! Popping it in the steeping basket and brewing as an herbal tea for the full 7 minutes at 212°F produced a reddish green tisane.
The teaster marshmallows were hopping around in the grassy green rooibos. I could make out some chicklets, bunnies, and ducks amidst the marigold petals and dried ingredients.

The flavor was a pleasantly mild green rooibos with a hint of vanilla and sweetness. Those who aren't big fans of the woody flavors of red rooibos might prefer this lighter green style with some added sweetness from marshmallow sprinkles, if not only for the extra green rooibos antioxidants. As this tisane cooled and the heat of the Easter sun intensified, it was quite refreshingly good! This would make a great spring & summer iced non-caffeinated brew.

Something about green rooibos is always calming and is a welcome experience to me. The sprinkles do add an extra sweet vanilla flavor that really blends well with the lighter green rooibos flavors, but it's not overly sweet either. What a great seasonal herbal blend!

Despite some bitterness from the green rooibos, this is a pleasant, sweet tea with a light fruity flavor.

Gosh, I'm sorry to row against the tide, but I really didn't care for this tea. It tasted a lot like Peeps (which I do not like) and a tiny bit like grass (which I do not like). I'm in favor of the cuteness, and limited teas are always fun, but this one didn't work for me.

212 degrees for 5 minutes. I was greeted by adorable pastel sprinkles mixed with a green rooibos and yellow marigold petals, making my blend look like Easter in a cup. The flavor is creamy and lightly fruity. A bit of sugar brought out the marshmallowy essence reminiscent of childhood days of biting the heads off of pink and yellow peeps. Thanks Adagio for this Easter treat.

Green rooibos tends to be a subtle backdrop, so the resulting teas tend to be more gentle in flavors. The brewed tea is a comforting medium brown. Notes of apricot and subtle sweet vanilla with a slightly woody finish from the rooibos. The sweetness is not overwhelming without additives, and makes a subtle caffeine-free treat. The sprinkles are very fun, and add just enough sweet to bring out the fruit notes and the marshmallow-like flavors. Not too bold, but just enough creamy vanilla to tie together the tea. Brewed 5 minutes at 212.

This is interesting. Actually does taste like marshmallows! My daughter loves it but I can't say it's something I'd drink on the regular. Marshmallow flavor forward with hints of fruit in the background.

This is the first of the holiday themed teas that fell flat for me. It just tasted like artificial flavor to me. I can just barely detect the marshmallow essence, but no fruit. Thankfully my son loved it, so it’s not going to waste! Full disclosure-I’m one of those people who turn their nose up at Rooibos blends. If you enjoy the taste of Rooibos, give this one a try!

The smell when opening the bag is so sweet and wonderful and it does smell like marshmallows. The Easter themed sprinkles make it fun. It wasn't as sweet as I thought, which I prefer. This is a great tea to sip in the evening because it is caffeine free 😊

Teaster marshmallow tea is a perennial favorite for me now. Apricot creme with a touch of marshmallow is a perfect nightcap when the evening is drawing nigh and sweet dreams are hoped for. The gentle green rooibos tea base, less woody than red rooibos, compliments the apricot flavor well and its no caffeine nature makes it a perfect bedtime tea.

My CommuniTEA packet today had 3 g/2 tsp of colorful loose tea. It made a beautiful Easter display in my IngeniTEA. I almost expected a little bunny to hop into the nest of straw-colored green rooibos dotted with blue, purple, white, yellow, and pink sprinkles, pale yellow apple pieces, and gold marigold flowers. I added 10 oz. of 212F water to the tea to steep for 3 min. A golden yellow liquor with a pink peach hue made a perfect springtime sip. The apricot creme flavor was best when the tea had cooled to a comfortable sip. I liked the tea plain but chose some Adagio Herbal honey to ground the sweetness and compliment the green rooibos tea base more. A resteep was milder in flavor and when chilled, this tea was very tasty too. I prefer it hot, though, for the reassuring comfort and taste of warm and dessert-like apricot creme with the extra sweetness of marshmallow. This tea is a real treat anytime it's sipped!

I was excited by the opportunity to try this tea and I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt based on a comment I read in the CommuniTEA chat today. I didn't find this packet to have very much flavor at all, frankly, but sometimes I find that the sample packet is a little flat compared to the larger bag sample (this was the case for me with the Valentine's day tea).

The aroma of this tea was lovely and I didn't get any heavy notes of grass which was a relief since that's a thing I half-expected. I think I'll reserve my full judgement until I have a chance to try the larger sample bag.

This is a great spring themed tea! It's gentle, sweet. fresh and happy. I've tried it hot and cold and as a Latte and all were really great. I especially liked it as a cold brew, and my children always want more. We drink cold brew tea here instead of juice and this is one of their top favorites. If you are making a Latte I suggest taking out the sprinkles and putting them on top of you foamed milk or whipped cream for a cuter treat.

Enjoying with the CommuniTEA today: Once steeped as recommended, I notice sweet vanilla and apricot scents from my cup. When taking a sip, I taste more vanilla, apricot, and apple flavors with a subtle candy melt finish.

I’ll preface this with saying I got this as part of the monthly comunitea, so it was just a portion size. Smelled yummy, but made a very weak cup of tea. Was still enjoyable though. From other people’s reviews it seems to require a few spoonfuls to make a well flavored cup, and I’d agree that’s probably true. Taste is light and earthy, smell is sweet and uplifting. Wish I’d put a lot less water in my single portion.

I'm always very hoppy to drink Teaster. Why didn't some-bunny tell me about green rooibos sooner? It's egg-sellent! This tea is cutey pants all the way. Bunny sprinkles! I mean, hello! That's some high grade cuteness right there! The green rooibos gives it a grassy note and the creamy flavor is appealing but not intense. This is a happy holiday option for the non-caffeinated crowd. Drink this and you'll be hopping down the bunny trail. Happy Sipping!

Today's CommuniTea blend started with a couple of disadvantages for me: I'm not a big fan of rooibos or of teas with sprinkles and things in them. I tried to set both of those aside and treat the tea like I was doing a blind taste test, but when you're not fond of major ingredients, a blind test doesn't necessarily help. The tea would have been a pretty golden color, except that it was cloudy, probably because of the cream ingredient and possibly exacerbated by rooibos dust. It smelled like rooibos and candy, which numerous people thought was great, but it did nothing for me. I can sometimes appreciate a rooibos chai, for example, but this tea was bland. This is my first CommuniTea packet where I didn't even wish I could give it a second chance. (200° for 5 minutes)

It's a nice tea, with all the colorful fun shapes. The taste really comes out with sugar, otherwise, creamy vanilla flavoring is a bit lost under the strength of the rooibos. Brewing for longer times, up to 10 minutes, using more leaves per cup, and enjoying this tea cool bring forward the flavors. With a significant amount of sugar, this starts to taste like marshmallow Peeps to me. I do wish I could enjoy it more plain, but even then it's not terrible, just not as special as the sugar-rush version.

The best part of this tea is that you don’t need to add sugars because it has sprinkles or the best part is that it’s caffeine free. I have a tendency to drink large amounts of tea that I adore which normally has a negative result considering I’m a caffeine lightweight the moment it kicks in. Either way I’m sure the first time I steeped this tea I went over 5 minutes due to a timer malfunction, yet it was still delicious. It seems there is no going wrong with this one.

I'm excited to finally try this tea! This has been on my wishlist for a while. In the packet, it smells like vanilla. Gotta love vanilla. After brewing, it still smelled like vanilla but not as much. As for flavor, this is vanilla rooibos plain and simple. The flavor is nice, but not exactly what I was expecting. Of course, when it comes to marshmallow chicks, I am a hardcore fan. Nothing short of melting them in a cup and calling it tea would satisfy me! Nonetheless, this is a cute, fun tea. I adored the little egg-shaped sprinkles; they made me smile. Thank you, Adagio!

I think I got the bottom of the barrel, my packet was filled with what looked like tea dust, with not a marshmallow in sight. I had to use a tea bag instead of my normal tea strainer and I still ended up with particulates in my tea.

For me it was very mild. Tasted mostly of sprinkles and cream. Light hints of fruit in background. The little bunnies were cute in packet though.
