This rooibus vanilla tea goes wonderful with a splash of milk or cream! I loved the taste of it and it a fabulous replacement for coffee!

at first i disliked the tea - too cloying, too overpowering, almost to the point of tasting artificial. the rooibos vanillas i am used to buying in europe are very mild compared to this; and especially when i read some reviews saying it tasted like cough syrup i was on the verge of throwing it out. AND THEN i had the idea to try it one last time - and for some reason put some grains of cardamom in the pot while steeping. and it tasted amazing! it was so good i couldn't belive it - i thought i had invented the perfect dessert tea. so my recipe is: for fans of rooibos who find this vanilla version too cloying, put 6-7 grains of unground or one small pinch of ground cardamom (that's for a two-cup pot) while steeping it. and you'll like it!

The vanilla flavor cuts the strength of straight rooibos, making it more drinkable, in my opinion. It's great to have so much flavor without caffeine!

I really liked all the previous rooibos teas I have tried from Adagio(Rooibos almond, mango, jasmine, regular rooibos) but this tea was absolutely awful. I bought an 8oz package thinking that I would like it just as much as the other flavors I've tried but I was oooooh so wrong. I dumped the tea in the toilet and flushed. Oh, well, you win some, you lose some.

the red teas ive tried are tricky, im not sure exactly what the tea leaf exactly tastes like as the flavorings seem to take over

I really didn't care for this tea at all, which is disappointing because I find vanilla so soothing. Tasted like cough syrup. ICK!

I have always been a strictly black tea drinker and decided to give this a shot and wound up becoming addicted! It reminds me of a black tea, only milder and smoother and the vanilla flavor gives a subtle sweetness. And it's caffeine free! Try it with a bit of honey and you'll love it, too.

Rooibos teas are not my favorite, but this one is very good. I think it's probably my favorite rooibos tea!

This is a very nice tea. The taste is subtle, but the vanilla smell could knock a person over. I found myself opening the tin intermittently just to get another whiff.

Rooibos vanilla and almond were my first two forays into Rooibos teas. I liked the vanilla but found it just a little bitter.

This was my first Rooibos. I'm glad I purchased this flavor because it easily convinced me to try more Rooibos. The vanilla aroma is very pronounced and the taste was equally matched to the scent.

Very tasty alternative to the caffeinated real teas, I have always liked rooibos since I first tried it over a couple years ago. Adagio sells the first class version.

This was a nice alternative to black vanilla. Milder but with a strong vanilla taste to it still. This was my foray into rooibos and I haven't yet tried another but it seems promising.

I've had other rooibos vanilla teas, but no other that I've tried is so rich as Adagio's. It's similar to the richness of coffee, with a deep vanilla flavor that makes it perfect as a dessert tea!

The tin smelled heavenly and so did the tea. Sweet and abundant in vanilla but shallow on the palate. I felt this tea was lacking the richness of flavor found in Adagio's vanilla black tea. Indeed, what transpares is a clean vanilla extract tone rather than the more enjoyable vanilla bean which I much preferred.

Smells wonderful, but this is not my 'cup of tea' I am finding as I try these samples that I like a little stronger taste.

My favorite rooibos tea, it mixes a vanilla flavor with the red tea very nicely. It also has a nice aroma and is a very pretty color when brewed.

I much preferr the black tea, but when I don't need to extra caffien this is my choice. The vanilla is a very smooth and soothing cup of tea. It is a great way to end a busy day and cuddle up with a good book.

I have fallen in love with rooibos. This tea is not as sweet as you might think, as the herbal element creates a smooth, rich effect.

Of the flavored rooibos I've tried, this one isn't too bad. I like mixing it with different flavors.

Smooth and just enough vanilla flavoring without it being overpowering. Very mild tea. Good for evening or after meals.

This wasn't my favorite roobios tea, but it's all right. The scent is lovely, and the color is gorgeous... the flavor is a little more cough-syrupy to me.

Very tasty. I think I prefer the caramel rooibos -- but this one's good when I'm in the mood for a change.

Excellent on its own. I also liked it mixed with Chammomile and Peppermint to make my own version of Foxtrot.

Rooibos vanilla is my roomate's favorite roobios tea (favorite tea, actually), and I also enjoy it every once in a while. I am reordering another helping of it today, actually!

Decent tea when drank alone, much better when mixed with some spices (try cinnamon sticks).

I'm not really sure about this one... It works good for adding flavor to other teas, but seemed a bit strange by itself... I guess I'm not much of a booibos drinker...

I had never tried, or even heard of rooibos teas before. So on a whim I decided to give vanilla rooibos a try. And it is actually pretty good. The vanilla flavor is strong and great when combined with other teas. I actually couldn't tell you which one I would prefer the rooibos vanilla or black flavored vanilla. They are both tasty and compliment most teas.

If you like the adagio's vanilla flavored black tea, you should give this one a try! I like this with a little bit of milk.

I like the Rooibos Vanilla, it smells great and tastes great especially with a little honey. I do have to use more than the recommended teaspoon, I use two. I will order it again.

Smells and Tastes like birthday cake. This is probably the best flavored rooibos that Adagio offers.

This teas smells awesome. When you first open the tin, you really get drawn in to the full vanilla smell. I thought because of this that the tea would be overpowering but alas when brewed the tea is very balanced in flavor. I enjoyed this sample a lot.
