I love rooibos tea, it always reminds me of visiting South Africa and the friends I made there. Adagio's rooibos is delightful, and priced perfectly to allow me to indulge in multiple glasses a day without breaking the bank!
I've been searching for a tea without caffeine so that I can cut down on all the black tea I've been drinking. I like this Rooibos tea. I would like to drink it without sugar, but I put about 1/2 teaspoon in it. I think I will go with this tea as my non-black tea afternoon/evening choice. I was also able to get multiple steeping by simply adding one extra minute to the steeping time for round two.
I'd never had a rooibos I've liked quite this much! It's a lovely, smooth caffeine-free option for when I'm craving a cup in the evening but I don't want to be awake all night. It pairs really well mixed with a number of my other teas, too!

I prefer the plain rooibos to any of the flavored ones that I have tried so far. Unfortunately, it just doesn't have the complexity or desirability of tea, though, so I have to dock a star.
This is a lovely new option for me! It's different than any other tea I've yet experienced. Very herbal, sweet and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it took to re-steeping very well! I took the advice of the other reviews and tried several brews over the course of the day. Absolutely worth it.
Perfect tea to get some work done! Normally my tea of choice at school is a green or an oolong, but this cup of caffeine-free goodness has become my main choice in the early afternoon!

Excellent flavor. Slightly sweet and full bodied. This was my first time trying Rooibos. I also tried it using half green and half red to cut back on the sweetness and to add some earthiness to the cup. Delicious.

This is a nice rooibos - brilliant deep red in the cup, wonderful fruity-vanilla fragrance, and great strong flavor at a great price! The leaf is small, and even with a steeping basket with very fine holes, I find a bit of grit in the bottom of my mug.

First few tastes honestly tasted like BBQ or something very close to it. Over time that flavor mellowed out and I was starting to taste the rooibos flavor that I recognized from my Scorpio tea. However I ended up having to mix it in with my Masala Chai, because it seemed like the only way to tame that flavor was to have it mixed with another tea.
A sweet and earthy flavor. Very smooth. I use this to brew an herbal kombucha. I use a combination of this, honeybush, and chamomile and it makes a deliciously sweet and non-caffeinated, kombucha!
Pretty good, very lemon and woody, I just wish it wasn't cut into such small pieces, it gets everywhere.

I preferred this tea over the honeybush variety. It has a richer, more nuanced flavor, even though honeybush tastes sweeter.
Rooibos is truly a wonder plant. If you need an energy boost while performing physical tasks, the red tea works better than anything I've tried. If savored before bedtime, it promotes relaxing and restful sleep. Don't ask me how it works in such contradictory fashion - it just does. Also enjoy iced rooibos in warmer weather.
This is a favorite of mine in the winter, it always helps me during the cold/flu season with its high immunity and antioxidants. I think it needs some dried fruit added because the taste is a little plain for me, but I would still recommend it for sure.
Juicy and nourishing, rooibos has a distinct taste all of it s own. The fine grains of this rooibos provide minor annoyance as they easily slip between the infuser and flood the bottom of the pot. However they also impart a beautiful golden glow to the water that is quite unlike the color of black teas. While the plant matter itself has a strong aroma, the actual tisane is barely scented and warming. There is zero bitterness in rooibos and fruity undertones that are both mouthwatering and refreshing. Rooibos adapts to mixes well but it seems almost a shame to add cream, honey, etc as it completely hides the delicate taste of natural rooibos. While I am a big fan of Adagio s Earl Grey rooibos, I also can t get enough this juicy and relaxing herb. Highly recommended!
I have been buying samples if adagio tea for years. Plenty of them I like but I've had a hard time finding one I loved. Until this.
Sweet, slightly earthy, crisp. The flavor is unlike anything I've tried but I absolutely love it. Only tea I've ever been able to drink without sweetener, though I still like a bit of honey in it.
I specifically got this so my boyfriend could try Rooibos, and I really enjoy its unique taste. This is a really standard Rooibos and the quality of it is really nice! I look forward to trying other flavors of Rooibos from Adagio!

Being South African, I can say that this is an awesome version of the product. Strong and rich in flavour.
This is my favorite for making ice tea in the summer. I use a coffee press to make it so it steeps a long time. Meaning I pour the almost boiling water in and once I can hold my hands on the press comfortably I push down the press and pour into a bottle for storage in the frig. Add a little lemon juice and no sugar AWESOME!!! It's also good warm.
I've had bagged Rooibos from the grocery store and it was alright. I was hoping that going loose leaf with Adagio would be an upgrade, unlocking the true Rooibos essence, but I was rather underwhelmed. I mean, it's good, but it's nothing to rave about. Kind of plain, really.
I've been enjoying the vanilla rooibos for years, but I wanted to try the pure rooibos for a change. It's a lovely, mild flavor that doesn't get bitter no matter how long you steep it, and the tea takes on a slightly silky texture if you brew your tea as strong as I do. Wonderful addition to my collection of teas!

First time try so didn t know what to expect. I found this medicinal tasting and grassy. Some have stated that it was fruity . I didn t pick up on that at all.
Hard for me to describe the taste. Bitter Proof and good for drinking before bedtime. It relaxes a little bit. Tobacco smelling. One of my favorite teas.

I wanted to try rooibos tea because I'm open to trying the wonderful variety that Adagio offers. I'm afraid, however, I really didn't enjoy this tea. It had a bit of a metallic taste to me.
Tried this because of I simply adore Alexander McCall Smith's, 'The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency' Just the thing when I'm avoiding the caffeine. It's also calming to think about sharing the cup with Mma Precious Ramotswe.
I had hints of pipe tobacco and liquor in this particular rooibos. Very well done.
