This one was a little strange.. I can tell what it s going for in spirit, and there is a bit of nuttiness that I do detect. The rooibos might be too overpowering for me though. I feel like I would like it if the actual flavors were more prominent. @adagioteas
My husband isn't really a tea person but he likes this one! He says it reminds him of the flavor he likes in his pipe tobacco. I think it's delicious, especially mixed with Rooibos Caramel tea!
Very good Rooibos but so similar to the Nutcracker Rooibos I can tell the difference!
I love pecan turtle chocolates, which is why I ordered this tea, and it didn't disappoint me, though if you are hoping for more chocolate flavor, I didn't really pick up on that flavor as much. The smell was very nice and without any caffeine, it didn't keep me up. I think I am liking rooibos tea more than I thought I would.

I was not expecting this to be as good as it is. The honeybush is particularly nice with the rooibos.

Ok, it is GOOD! However, it doesn’t taste like a peacan turtle chocolate to me. I DO taste a strong lovely sweet cream caramel with a slight taste of almonds (i know, it says pecans so I must be off on my taste buds : -)
Even when I had to tend to after dinner chaos and my mug was ice cold…this rooibos still tasted lovely.
I do add sweetener and honey to all my tea.

This was disappointing because it didn't have much flavor to me. The rooibos came thru with a bit of pecan but none of the other flavors.

I’m usually not a fan of rooibos teas or dessert teas, but I got this in my advent calendar for Christmas and I fell in love (along with a few others that had a similar flavor profile) and now this is a staple tea in my house, and I am bringing it with me on a trip to introduce to someone as my go to dessert tea.

Oh my, but this is good! I think this will be my new non caf go to. You can taste the pecan and the chocolate and caramel. Add a dash of honey and you have dessert in a cup.
I really wanted to like this one as it had so many great reviews. On it’s own it is a bit lacklustre in flavour but I do enjoy it as part of a blend.

Rooibos Pecan Turtle makes a great nighttime treat. It's nutty, caramel-y, and sweet. Both the dry leaves and the brewed tea have a delightful caramelized maple aroma reminiscent of waffles. Rich flavors like caramel tend to play well on rooibos' woody base, and the addition of pecan keeps the blend from being too sweet while the cocoa nibs, chocolate chips, and chicory give this tea more depth than some of Adagio's other rooibos options. Though it's naturally sweet enough on it's own, a little sweetener helps bring out the flavors in this tea, making it a wonderful way to satisfy one's sweet tooth in the evening. Plus, unlike some of Adagio's other rooibos offerings, it holds up to a second steep if left to brew long enough.
This is delicious! I’ve been enjoying it every day and still delicious re-brewed.
this has become one of my favorite teas! i especially love to add some oat milk and vanilla simple syrup to it

My wife and I like to drink tea together in the evening and caffeine keeps her up when he has it after 3 pm, so my hunt for the best caffeine free teas has led me down the rooibos path. This is the 2nd rooibios tea that we've tried and I really enjoy the sweet, nutty, creamy taste that you get with a splash of milk in this one.
Rooibos is hit or miss for me, despite the fact that I really keep trying to love them all. This tea is really complex, there's just a LOT going on. It's better with cream, and you definitely get a candy flavor - this is NOT a 'relaxing at the end of the night' tea. This is a 'I have stuff to do today, now do your job and wake me up' tea. I think I got a little sugar rush from it. It's definitely sweet.
Sometimes I'm extra sensitive to caramel flavoring smells, but this one doesn't have that problem! I really enjoy this as a late-night dessert tea. The pecan flavoring is very pleasant and doesn't cover up that you're drinking a rooibos tea.
It is pleasant, especially with some sweetening and cream, but I am realizing I don't think I am a fan of the rooibos flavor. Glad I tried it though! I can see this being a delicious dessert tea for someone who likes rooibos.
There are so many nutty sweet teas offered now, but this was is special and caramel-y, and fruit-free. And I like that.
I like rooibos teas. This one is great...added a little sugar & cream & it was like a latte. The flavors of the choc, caramel, cinnamon & pecan are not overpowering and taste great together.

Probably the best rooibos I've had! It tastes mostly of caramel, and there are pleasant nutty notes as well.
Smells like a pecan tart, it was sweet but a bit watery -- just okay -- much fuller body with a bit of cream added to the cup.
This tea really has a sort of nostalgic feeling for me, but overall it is just one of my new favorite teas. The flavors work really well together.

It took a few tries of really wanting to like this one to decide... but this tea definitely isn't for me. Rooibos has a syrupy, medicinal flavor to me and I don't really enjoy it. Three stars because I definitely enjoy it more than other rooibos blends and it really hits the mark with caramel and pecan flavors - chocolate is subtle though.

I love this blend, the wonderful pecan nuttiness and caramel notes with that hint of apple on the back end! The rooibos keeps the flavors buttery smooth and mellow, it's just the perfect evening treat.
This came as part of the 12 Days of Christmas box set, and it’s the one that we absolutely had to to order that wasn’t already on our tea shelves. I’m not a fan of rooibos in general, but this is one of few exceptions, and I’ve been having a cup almost every day since we discovered it.
