this one was super surprising - i wasn't expecting it to taste so much like what it's named for! it's already pretty sweet and nutty as is, but i honestly feel it becomes something extra special after adding some sugar and a splash of milk - that gave it a stronger toffee-like flavor! it reminded me a lot of a heath bar in tea form - though i would still happily drink it plain while usually preferring to sweeten teas
The flavor is pretty good. You can taste the nuttiness that gives it its turtle name, but it s not too strong.

Love this. Creamy and sweet and perfect with a splash of milk. It's like a little guilt-free treat at the end of the day.

This is truly the greatest tea I’ve ever had. It tastes less like the candy turtles I love and more like a warm pecan cinnamon roll from the bakery.

Got a sample, had 1 mug and decided that I MUST purchase a full pound bag. All the intended flavors come through on this. It s nutty, lightly chocolate and caramel-y. I like it with sweetener and cream, brewed double strength... It is now in rotation for when I desire a sweet/chai type of flavor.
Delicious..enjoy after work or as a latte on the go.

This tea blends some of my favorite flavors, and I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint! The scent and taste are both very natural and well-balanced. What a delightful dessert a cup of this tea makes!
The smell of this in the bag is hard to describe. It kind of has a little almond scent to it. It smells a little like tiger eye after brewed. The flavor to me is awful. I will probably just dispose of the rest and not purchase this tea again.
This is down as a reorder tea for me, perfectly balanced flavors between chocolate and caramel. You know it’s a rooibus base but it does not overpower any of the other flavors. Delicious hot latte
First impression was the extremely strong smell of pecan coming from the bag--it was a little overpowering. Luckily, the nutty flavor mellows out in the tea itself, allowing the sweeter hints of chocolate and caramel to come through and nullify any bitterness
This is my favorite tea now. The flavors go together so good with the chocolate and caramel. Always looking forward to brewing a cup or a pitcher even.

If you want dessert in a cup, look no further. The caramel and chocolate flavor in this amazed me. I really thought it was going to be more mellow, but it's like eating a chocolate turtle. Great to curb my sweet tooth. Some may find it too sweet, but I loved it and added nothing to it. (And to Keith, you're quite right, it lacks the reptilian meat flavor)

Delicious. It s a great tea to have in the evening while winding down. Leave it to steep for 3 minutes minimum. It s a mild flavor, but the blend of chocolate and pecan is perfect.
I love this! I’m always looking for a good caffeine free tea to drink at night before bed and this one is definitely staying in my rotation! Love the flavors. Subtle at first but really full flavored aftertaste! Loved!

I am really happy with this tea. It satisfies a craving for something warm and sweet in the evenings! The pecan flavor comes through in a lovely way. I do find it needs a long brew to get all the flavors.
It smells amazing but doesn t deliver in flavour. It s quite mild, a little sweet, don t get much of the pecan flavour though.
I love the taste of this tea it's already so sweet and you barely need any sugar honey. You can really taste that pecan notes and chocolate notes it's a wonderful tea for winter.

This tea smells amazing. It has a nice nutty and sweet taste. However the rooibos is much to prominent for my liking. If you are a fan of nutty sweet rooibos teas you will love this one.

First rooibos tea! Researching caffeine-free options for tea time with kids, and found that I really liked this. I add sweetener to most tea and this wasn't an exception, but I almost felt like I didn't need to with this one. It's a really pleasant caramel taste.

Nice dessert tea, you really do smell caramel, pecans, and chocolate. Takes care of cravings, I'd say. I also gotta say, I love the customer service (asked about ingredients). Very polite and quick. Glad this tea is vegan :3
This is a great treat, especially since it has no caffeine. I can t say that it tastes like a turtle but it does have a nice nuttiness. To me, it tastes almost exactly like Nutcracker Rooibos, if that helps!
