Very nice tea. The chocolate isn’t overpowering and the caramel flavor is nicely blended. I like it hot but found it makes a fantastic iced tea.
Our Rooibos Pecan Turtle, like its namesake, is blended with the smooth rich flavors you know and love.

Very nice tea. The chocolate isn’t overpowering and the caramel flavor is nicely blended. I like it hot but found it makes a fantastic iced tea.
A great tea for a sweet craving. Very comforting and delicious.
This tea is quite good. I am always wary of red rooibos teas because they can be too earthy, but the blend of this one did not have any of that earthy flavor. And when I brewed it with some of my chocolate mint leaves from our garden, it makes it even more fantastic!
Has the sweet, caramely taste of pecan turtles. Too sweet for me for an evening tea.
By far, my favorite tea! Perfect substitute for that after-dinner chocolate craving.
the caramel flavor is the most prominent (more than chocolate or pecan) - quite nice with a bit of milk
Excellent aroma!! Great with a little cream. My mouth waters every time I open it up.
Smells amazing, tastes amazing. The caramel taste is strong enough here.
This is a good tea. The Rooibos delivered a nutty sweet feel and a very enjoyable cup.
This was another winner for me. I love this as much as butterscotch. If you are a fan of the nuttier teas then this is a good choice. I am basically a fan of flavored teas and this is not bitter, has no after taste and is very smooth. It is also herbal so I can have a cup later in the day and not worry about caffeine.
This tea just smells amazing when you open the bag. The first sip was a bit different than I expected, but I loved every sip after that. This is an absolutely delicious tea.
This is the best tea EVER! It's a great dessert. And it's beautiful in the cup!
Omg this tea is amazing! I love it put some honey and oat milk and boom
I usually don t like rooibos tea, but this is my second one from Adagio that I though was fantastic.
INCREDIBLE! I tried this tonight and it is so good. It really does taste like you're indulging in a dessert. I added a little raw organic local honey and it was a sweet, delicious, decaffeinated treat before bed. Highly recommend!!!Yum! This tea maybe my favorite tea I've ever tasted. *Update!* - this is literally my favorite tea ever you'll need a barrel of it. Skip the sample and go big you won't be sorry. Yum!
Delicious caffeine-free indulgence. I taste the Pecan Turtle notes, and the resulting cup of tea is tasty both hot and warm. The tea in the package smells just as good as the final cup. This was perfect for an after-dinner alternative
Smells divine! Nice nutty and sweet flavors. Great for an after dinner treat.
I first tried this tea as part of the rooibos sampler, but I felt like I needed more cups to form an opinion, so I ordered more. I love chocolate, pecan, and caramel, so I felt like I HAD to love this. Unfortunately, after several cups, this is simply okay. I've tried this in several ways, with and without sugar, with and without milk, different brewing times, but I was always left underwhelmed. At best, this was reminiscent of watery hot chocolate. At worst, this was a meh cup of tea with conflicting muddy flavors. Adagio has some really good dessert rooibos/honeybush blends, but this isn't one of them.
My teenager loves this, and I enjoy it, too. I has a kind of delicious candle flavor. But, with sweetener and milk it makes a nice dessert.
The pecan really comes out in this tea. It's a wonderfully delightful tea.
Tastes like a yummy, sweet treat melted in your cup. Got a sample in the 12 days of xmas set and loved it.
I was intrigued by the idea of a turtle tea, but it turns out this is not for me. It smells nice, but I just didn't like the flavors.
I am writing this for my wife. She is a caramel chocolate-holic. This didn't disappoint her. This Rooibos is heavy in chocolate with a nutty-caramel second taste. Nice.
This tastes like an enhanced version of a typical red rooibos, with the nuttiness of the pecan and the general caramel flavor profile highlighting the dessert/baked good notes of the rooibos.
This was a new tea for me and I really liked this flavor. I was worried it would be too strong, but it has a very nice after taste.
There is a nice smooth flavor to this and was rich enough to be called a dessert tea. I can tell also that this will be nice to try and blend with some other teas as well.
This is such a lovely night time treat. It doesn't need any sugar added and is caffeine free.
This tea was okay, make sure not to steep too long so it's not bitter.
If you like rooibos teas this is a good one to try. I would have liked even more nutty flavor but I would buy this again.
I was tempted to eat a spoonful of this tea before the kettle boiled, just based on the delicious aroma! I think this is my favorite rooibos tea. The combination of nutty, chocolatey, caramel goodness is sublime. It's really hard to believe it has no calories or caffeine.
Sweet, fruity fragrance with a slight nutty flavor. I love taking in the aroma before taking a sip. It has a mild, flowery aftertaste. One of my favorites.
My friends and I love this tea. I prefer it over the seasonal rooibos nutcracker.
There were lots of little chocolate chips in the sample bag! This tea definitely has a chocolate-y taste, but also cinnamon and hints of maple. It tasted a little more cinnamon pancakes than 'turtle' flavor, but was still pretty good.
Possibly one of my favorite rooibos blends I've had from Adagio, the caramel/nutty taste is very, very strong and comes through even more with cream and sugar.
I love these teas that have different flavors because it is so fun opening it and smelling it and realizing it smells just like it and then you taste it and your in shock of how much it actually taste like candy!
This was a great surprise. I'm often skeptical of flavored things, especially with chocolate, but this was great. I really liked the caramel flavor throughout.
I love this tea but think the name is misleading, because it doesn’t taste like a pecan turtle. Maybe chocolate caramel..
the tea itself is delicious in a mild and calming way.
Really good, just a little too sweet for me on its own. I mix it with Rooibos Caramel to tone it down a bit and it’s perfect.
This is my least favorite tea I’ve tried from Adiago Teas. There is something too cloying about it - slightly synthetic. It isn’t terrible, but you would probably be better off with any other red tea.
What a surprise I had with this tea today. Aroma is great! Since I like a little sweetness in my teas, I added a half tsp of XyloSweet and began enjoying the pecan turtle flavor. All the parts blended well so that the chocolate was nicely sharing with the pecan and caramel which I loved.
One review mentioned blending this with Coconut Black which I will definitely do as coconut is my absolutely favorite taste.
Halfway through the cup, I decided to add a squirt of Sugar Free Whipped Heavy Cream that I use on my Jell-O, What a delight! You see I do not put milks in my tea, but saw some suggestions in other reviews. It is an absolute hit and this is by far my favorite tea.
amazing tea, just the right amount of sweet, smells wonderful
There are many rooibos teas I don't care for, but I do really enjoy this one. The warm, sweet, and nutty flavors round out the rooibos flavor nicely. It makes a great evening dessert tea, especially with milk or cream added. Interestingly, I don't really care for Adagio's Nutcracker tea, though there are definitely similarities between it and this pecan turtle. The smoothness of this well-balanced tea have won me over!
This tea was a fun surprise! Tasted like pecan pie, with hints of chocolate and cinnamon. Would repurchase!
A bit more mild than I expected. It wood be nice to have a nuttier flavour. However, still a nice tea.
This is an enjoyable afternoon tea. Needs very little added sweetener.
Smells and tastes great! A really unique blend of tea.
This is a nice tea. But it doesn't thrill me like Rooibos Nutcracker does. I stock up on Nutcracker around Christmas time and drink it throughout the year.
You can taste the pecan flavor! I am not sure if the dark chocolate chips have sugar or not. I am trying to avoid any added sugar but I did enjoy this tea and I would happily drink it again.
Just tasted like straight rooibos to me. The flavors are very light.
This tea is great for showing off to friends! Very dessert-y aroma, goes great with pie
