This one is my favorite from my first order. It really did taste like I was drinking a pecan turtle. The flavors blended very well together. I ordered the sample size, but will definitely be getting the 3 oz on my next order.

This tea was very good, it definitely reminded me of the days when I could afford to eat pecan turtles

★★★★☆

Very tasty dessert tea. Just brewed this hot without sugar or milk and it was delicious.

★★★★★

Great for an afternoon cup when you want a dessert but don't want the calories. Chocolatey and well-balanced.

Got this as a gift for my mom who loves it. She says it's her favorite.

★★★★☆

It's a nice tea. There's a little too much apple, but it does have a nice nutty flavor with those caramel notes. No extra sweetening needed.

★★★★★

Lovely flavors. Very calming and enjoyable rooibos blend.

★★★★☆

It is a pretty decent cup of tea! Not spectacular, but better than many other varieties

★★★★☆

They put chocolate turtles into a rooibos. Gimme that dang rooibos.

★★★★★

I seem to tend towards what I might term 'dessert' teas. And this qualifies! The nutty flavor is perfect, and doesn't overwhelm, and it only neded a touch of sugar.

★★★★★

Tastes and smells exactly like you would imagine. Delicious as an after-dinner drink or when you are craving indulgent.

When I opened the bag I made a sound. The smell is heavenly and I just had to try a cup straight away. I waited impatiently for my kettle to boil and then again for the tea to steep. This tea is my new evening go-to. I was worried the chocolate flavor would be too strong but I can definitely taste the pecan and caramel flavors with just enough hint of chocolate. I am glad I ordered the 3oz because I feel like I will be drinking a lot of this tea :) I had to interrupt my research paper to leave a review!

honeybush banana nut is better for those who want a sweet nutty flavor, though this one is decent too

★★★★★

Can you say dessert substitute? Because I can. This drink is perfection.

★★★★★

Very sweet, the nutty flavor is just delicious. Perfect for a cold night.

I really enjoyed this, and I would probably drink it again in the fall and winter, but my husband hates the smell. Maybe after the pandemic I'll bring it to work...

★★★★★

I have had this tea on my wish list for quite some time now, but could never quite bring myself to order it because I generally do not care for caramel flavoring in tea. My husband ended up ordering it in our last Adagio order and I am very glad he did. It is stupid good. I am also not a fan of fruit in teas, but the apple is absolutely necessary in bringing some acidity and sweetness to help balance out the bitterness of the cocoa nibs and the chicory. It is extremely well balanced. No sugar needed for me. It drinks like a treat, but a treat that actually has some health benefits. I do believe it will become a staple in our tea cupboard.

This tea was a little on the sweet side for my liking. I did let it steep for 3 minutes so next time i will try 2 min

I really like the fact that rooibos is a more mellow, flavor-adapting, caffeine-free tea. This one is great with dessert (or as dessert), and adding milk brings out the rich, nutty flavors and creamy texture without needing added sweetener.

This is really nutty flavor in a good way. Add some milk and some of adagio's chocolate honey and it's a nice dessert tea for end of the evening.

I was skeptical after the banana nut honeybush tea that tastes a bit sour to me. However this definitely made up for it! Upon opening the scent of caramel and some toastiness hits you. Flavour-wise, it tastes like I'm sipping on some caramel pecan candy. The chocolate is also there, but in the background compared to the caramel pecan flavours. This tea is a great way to end the day.

★★★☆☆

This one was a little sweet for my taste. I generally really like the more dessert-like teas, but it was hard to dose out even amounts of the bag's ingredients for a consistent cup, even when they came pre-bagged, i'd sometimes use two if one had more large chunks.

★★★☆☆

I was hoping this would taste like the Honeybush Banana Nut, but the rooibos taste is much stronger in this tea. I'd recommend this as a dessert tea if you love rooibos, but I prefer my rooibos flavors to be much more undercover if they're there at all.

One of my favorites. The pecan and caramel flavors come through very well and leave a delicious aftertaste!

This has a great 'fall' vibe to it, which I love to be able to get year round! Was good hot but was even better as it cooled!

Oh my! What an awesome cup of deliciousness! This is truly a feast for all of the senses. Just hearing the name 'pecan turtle' raises my hopes and expectations. The distinct scent of rooibos tea is enhanced by hints of cinnamon, maple, apple and caramel. It is tough to pull my nose away from the packet. My eyes are delighted to see the beautiful red-gold tint of the tea after steeping. My mouth enjoys the smooth and silky feel of the tea. And my tongue rejoices at the wondrous explosion of maple and caramel flavors while savoring the nuttiness of the pecan harmoniously blending with the cinnamon and cocoa nibs. And the flavor does not fade as the tea cools. I am giving this one an A+ with extra credit points.

this is a new favorite blend of mine! rooibos vanilla chai is my favorite tea of all time, and this feels like a slightly nuttier version of that. as a fan of pecan turtle ice cream, this is a slam dunk. i think it's best with a little honey to enhance the dessert feeling

I had some very tea skeptical people over yesterday (coffee drinkers) . I offered them this tea and from the first sip they went on and on about how good it was. One person even said it tasted just like a cappuccino. I think that the fact that coffee drinkers can enjoy this so much is a great response. I even overheard them talking about how good it was to someone else that didn't get a cup. I love sharing quality tea with others so I always keep a variety of teas on hand. I will keep this one on hand from now on. My family loves this one as well. I should be ordering this soon because the sample is not going to last long. We drank this hot/warm and with a little natural creamer in each cup. I followed the steeping instructions exactly and enjoyed every drop.

A surprising amount of both color and flavor, which not only means that it's great for milk, but also that it'll still be going strong after multiple resteeps. However, it also tastes strongly of raisins, which ends up being more powerful than any nutty or toasty flavor. I'm not sure what's doing it- maybe the combination of caramel and apple.

My husband has a sweet tooth and this tea satisfies his craving for chocolate pecan turtles. This tea is delicious

I taste pecan, chocolate, cinnamon. I put little sugar, just right💕🫖

This sounded delicious. It smelled wonderful when I opened the package. Brewed, it fell very short. I was so disappointed with it. Won't be buying this again in the future.

I steeped a teaspoon of this tea with boiling water for 6 minutes. The flavor is very nutty and it doesn't have much chocolate. It's not as dessert-like as Honeybush Banana Nut or Blueberry Pancake, but it's definitely on the sweeter side. It reminds me of the nutty filling of a candy rather than the full sweet. It was good with a bit of sugar, but syrup or honey might be better.

This is a sweet dessert tea if you are a fan of red rooibos. If you do not like red rooibos this may just win you over to make an exception.

One of my absolute favorites to make almond milk lattes with as well and it won't keep me up all night like chugging black tea does.

★★★★★

When brewed at 2 tsp per cup for 7 mins, this tea is rich and decadent, delicious by itself and even better with sugar. It doesn t have the sweet finish of Honeybush Banana Nut nor the nutty depth of Nutcracker, but it s not far behind the other two. Its nuttiness comes through more than the chocolate, and caramel doesn t stand out on its own so much as it blends with the other tastes. It really is nice, and a rebrew is pleasant, too. I brewed it extra strength because I found it weak and not as enjoyable on its own with regular strength. While much more enjoyable for me than most of the ceylon-based dessert blends offered on the site, strongly brewed it is still not quite my favorite, but a close runner-up.

This was good but I did need to add sweetener which I prefer not to do...still, it s a lovely dessert tea.

★★★★★

This might be my all-time favorite rooibos ever! It is so delicious - like the name says, pecan flavors with hints of chocolate. I absolutely love it and drink it with whipped cream.

★★★★★

Pretty much what I expected from the description. What surprised me was how much it tastes like strong black tea. I think it s from the chocolate maybe, but it s pretty delicious brewed strong, sweetened, with a touch of cream. Great for when you want black tea, but not the caffeine.

A good smooth tea with a sweet edge to it. Happily repurchased already.

Unfortunately, this tea tastes much too artificial for my taste.
