This has a really nice smell and flavor. I drink it with a little milk and rock sugar.

I’m new to rooibos, having only tried a plain rooibos years ago. The addition of orange is delicious, adding a lightness that suits an afternoon cup!

★★★★★

Perfect dessert tea. I love to have a cup after dinner.

I like rooibos and this one had a wonderful orange aroma when I opened the package. Alas the taste did not live up to the smell. I found this to be somewhat bland with not much flavor to it other than the rooibos.

Simply not my cup of tea, rooibos has to be just right for me, and this barrage of orange was not it.

I am not the biggest fan of orange flavor in most teas. That being said, I think it hits just right with that distinct rooibos sweet flavor that always reminds me of a vanilla cousin. Didn't add anything to the cup and the only complaint I have is how rooibos always really sticks to the mesh in my basket. Would definitely drink this one again. 212° 5 min

I gotta say I love this tea! I find the orange rooibos to be smooth, beautifully scented cup. The orange is not as pungent as it smells, but still comes through nicely. I read where others describe rooibos to have a 'woodsy' taste they find unappealing, but I must love this because I also love smoky lapsang souchong and this 'woodsy' note just doesn't come through to me. And it's caffeine-free, taboot! I will be adding this one to my order.

CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F, second infusion for 10 min @ 212 F. The rooibos flavor is strong in this one. It's earthy, a little tart, and in some ways, I can see it being compared to olives. But, I also find there to be a certain bright, sweet, woody aspect to it that reminds me of vanilla! And I feel like orange and vanilla are a classic pairing! The liquor is a beautiful red color, it's nice and smooth on the tongue, it has a similar but slightly lighter body than black tea, and the orange flavor comes through and does remind me a lot of orange juice! I feel like a little bit more orange flavor would be nice, but if you like rooibos, you will enjoy this tea!

A nice sweet and smooth orange flavored rooibos. Not bitter of bright, but more like a Creamsicle almost.

UPDATE 5/30/25 - This is still one of my favorite forms of rooibos! The menthol-y flavor and the bright citrus are a match made in heaven!

Yum yum yum! Rooibos always had a faint citrus bitterness, so the orange magnifies those notes considerably while also adding the desired sweetness. Overall a well balanced blend I could return to again and again!

The packet smells like an orange candy slice, one of my favorites. The taste is good but the orange takes a backseat to the rooibos.

I was looking for a more affordable version of Orange Marmalade Paddington special edition from art or tea and it works great. I like it with a bit of sugar

I cannot get enough of this subtle orange overtone complementing the smoky rooibos base. Great to share with a friend.

Not a fan of red rooibos at all, looks and tastes like sawdust. However, the orange profile was strong enough to mask the sawdust, which made it tolerable to the palate. It was actually smooth and sweet, and for that reason it gets an extra star.

If you like rooibos, this orange flavored rooibos is just right. It tastes more subtle/natural than the lemon cloud rooibos (which I also like but think this orange has become my favorite rooibos). Still my favorite rooibos after trying many others!

One of my go-to everyday teas! The brightness of the orange contrasts incredibly well with the earthiness of the rooibos.

This is my absolute favorite hot tea! It pairs well with the orange honey. I have also added a bit of pumpkin pie spice to it and that makes a wonderful tea for a fall evening!

★★★★★

The sweet orange flavor is a great compliment to the rooibos, without overwhelming it. It's not bitter at all. This one is delicious hot or cold, and good for blending with other tisanes to add a hint of orange.

This tea is pretty good. It has the woody flavor that is expected of a rooibos, and a citrus kick from the orange. On it's own I would say it's just ok, but it does a wonderful job bringing citrus flavor into blends!

Very good orange flavor. Not too overwhelming! Balanced very good with the rooibos

I have to say that I’m not a big fan of this tea. It’s hit or miss with me and rooibos tea and this one had too much of a pronounced rooibos flavor. The orange flavor was nice and natural tasting though. Even so, I still don’t think I’d get this tea again.

This was the communiTEA sample today. While I’m glad to have tried this tea, I thought it was just okay. It might be a nice addition to a blend if you’re looking for an orange flavor.

Tried this with the communitea. My portion first opened smells of rooibos and orange. Brewed to a rich orange color. But smell and taste of the orange disappeared. I believe cold brewing would preserve more orange flavor. Not a tea for me.

CommuniTEA sample: It smelled and tasted like orange medicine. I'm also not a fan of red rooibos. This would probably be good if you like red rooibos.

6/18/22 Five Stars! ..Huge Orange Fan, here..And I love some Rooibos now and again. So, THIS ONE is glorious-- with that Orange Flavorfulness & the Rooibos taste giving it's Rooibos-y best boost!! However, I think the Orange vibe takes the main focus...making this a cup that anyone seeking a caffeine free, Orange cuppa, may like!!

This is a very pleasant evening tea when I need to avoid caffeine. The orange is fairly subtle, but it goes very well with the natural rooibos flavor. A longer steep will get more orange flavor, but I find 5 minutes is 'good enough' for most days.

This is a nice, woodsy tea with a nice, bright orange flavor. The orange flavor came out more as the tea cooled, but as a red rooibos fan, I enjoyed the stronger woody flavor as well.

This is a delicious rooibos tea. It is very light and refreshing. It tastes great either hot or iced.

Drank this in the past but got away from it during a move. Tried it again recently and I’m back! Add a little bit to some weaker tea blends or fantastic by itself.

★★★★☆

Slightly sweet with a noticeable hint of orange, this tea was exactly what I expected it to be: pleasant and citrusy.. I regret that I ordered just a smallest package.
However, I am giving to it only four stars since this tea is a bit light for my taste.

Rooibos is a great go-to when you want caffeine free tea. It's a very smooth drink with a velvety kind of texture, and paired with the fragrant citrus and sweetness of orange, it really feels like the softest, silkiest dessert. Great for those who love a natural sweetness and the citrusy flair bursting with flavor on your taste buds. Pairs well with spiced chai and other bold teas of the like. I plan on trying it mixed with some hibiscus tea soon!

Bright orange fragrance is strong from the sample pouch. Several pieces of orange peel are mixed in. After steeping, the rooibos nearly overpowers the orange scent and definitely takes charge in the flavor. While I can taste the orange, it much more prominent in the lingering aftertaste. This is okay, but I'll stick with my beloved Earl where the bergamot can stand up to the rooibos.

Pleasant orange and woody aromas coming from my packet. Once brewed, this tea has the warm woody flavor of the rooibos that pair extremely well with the smooth citrus notes of the orange.

This rooibos is pretty good, as most Adagio Rooibos is. The citrus of the orange is sharp and slightly bitter. It isn't particularly my speed, but for somebody who likes citrus flavors, this is definitely the tea for them. The rooibos also lends it a slight vanilla flavor, invoking ideas of orange creamsicle. 8.5/10

Extremely good with a hard, sweet macaron. Naturally very sweet so doesn't need much if any sugar or additions to it to just be a pleasant drink.

One of my and my husband's favorites. The smell is amazing while brewing and we find it's still satisfying after 3-4 rebrews.

I like rooibos and orange, but they don’t really work together for me. That is, until I added some vanilla creamer which made it pretty delicious. I won’t go out of my way to buy this, but if the flavors work for you, or you have the right additives, I would recommend trying this unique combo.

I tried this as a CommuniTEA sample. I'm not a fan of red roobios but the orange hid the base fairly well. Adding sweetener further hid it. It still had a faint black olive-like flavor. The orange wasn't artificial tasting.

The only saving grace for this tea is the lovely orange/citrus aroma. I could barely tell there was orange flavor over the red rooibos screaming at me. It got a thumbs down from my son and hubby also. I have given this one three tries with the CT, each time brewed a different way. This time I tried following someone’s review directions but it didn’t work for me. It’s plain to see that we are not a red rooibos household. (212° for 20 minutes, cooled to room temp, then iced.)

I cold brewed this tea, and it was very yummy. Next time I will make it hot. I also think this would be good in a blend with chocolate.

Update: Forgot to brew it hot. But it was still yummy. I still think it would be could with chocolate.

I’m always happy to see no caffeine teas😊as I often drink my tea later in the day. This tea has a beautiful orange aroma, taste and color. Delicious without sweetener but a little honey enhanced the orange flavor.

my first two experiences with red rooibos were not pleasant, so I didn't hold out much hope for this blend. Yet, the orange was sufficient to drown out the tobacco taste for me, allowing me to take a few sips. It's still not my favorite, but this version was much more palatable than the previous two.

Lovely tea. Although I’m not a huge fan of rooibos, I enjoyed this one. I’d prefer more orange flavor to pack a bigger punch! I’ll probably stick to my blood orange as my go to citrus tea.
