I was so excited to try this when the powerful and sweet aroma of lemon emerged from the communitea packet. My husband who is not a tea drinker also thought it smelled delicious. I brewed it at 200F for 3 minutes. I added a little bit of Splenda to bring out the fruity/lemony flavors. It was a nice balance of earthly rooibos and a light lemon, I also detected a light vanilla flavor which added a nice rich complexity. This has been added to my “will order” list.

This tea is delicious by itself and with some lemon juice squeezed in. The roobios didn't have a medicinal aftertaste that I sometimes get.

Im not huge into lemon or rooibos unless it's hot hot, burn tongue level, or brain freeze point. This had a big more of woody taste

I enjoy rooibos tea. This one is over the top. A delightful lemon and vanilla tea. If you don't care for rooibos, please give this one a try if you enjoy lemon.

This tea smells like creamy vanilla with a hint of lemon and brews a rich amber color. It tastes like lemon cream, rich and balanced, neither sour not medicinal, with no unpleasant aftertaste. It is great plain, would probably stand up to cream or sugar if brewed more than 1tsp per cup. A second brew comes through lighter with a more prominent lemongrass taste compared to the richer, maltier first brew. It compares favorably to a lemoncello rooibos tea from another vendor. One of my favorite rooibos teas from Adagio, I'd be happy to add it to my collection.

Love this tea with a bit of lemon juice and maple syrup! The woodiness of the rooibos tends to be more prominent once the tea has cooled, but it's not too overpowering. Overall, I enjoyed this caffeine-free option, and the lemon flavors are really noticeable!

212 degrees for 5 minutes. Wow! Very intense lemon and vanilla aromas from the pretty collage of rooibos tea, marigold petals and lemongrass in my packet today.
The toasty rooibos combined with vanilla and lemon remind me of lemon cookies, or lemon curd filled donuts.
There was an interesting coolness on my tongue after the first sip, almost like mint aftertaste. Interesting combo, although I wish the lemon tasted a bit more natural.

I love lemon, and this tea has lots! The rooibos woodiness was strong at first but it seemed to subside and I was mostly left with lemon, which makes me very happy! The intensity and flavor of the lemon reminds me of lemon Italian Ice.

Rooibos lemon cloud says it all, this is exactly the aroma and flavor that comes from a brewed cup. Not overwhelming in woodiness from the rooibos nor lemon, the vanilla brings a mildness to tame any bitterness. Add a little honey only if you desire added sweetness. Hot or chilled, I think I'll brew another cup of refreshment right now.

I can't believe that I am giving this one 5 stars. I really didn't think I liked rooibus and the scent makes me think of lemon pledge but the taste is fabulous. Nice lemon flavor with the vanilla balancing out any tartness leaving a refreshing dessert-like tea. Seems like it would be a perfect summer porch sipper iced.

Wonderful citrus lemon notes greeted me this morning when I opened my communiTea packet. I love citrus and lemon so it made it a lovely morning and it was so bright and warm to look at when it was sitting in my infuser waiting for the water to boil. Only thing that could have made it better was caffeine... (I’m an unrepentant addict and it was early!).
I was surprised that the lemon flavor was as soft as it was. Perhaps this is from the rooibos tea or the vanilla (which is a perfect amount for me there but not in front or overpowering just hinted at). But the mixture works well, and it was a very enjoyable cup of tea to start the day. I honestly preferred it hot or warmer than room temperature. Not sure if I’d like it cold or not, but would be interesting to try.

Huh! Lemon + vanilla + rooibos = who knew it would be so tasty! Vanilla forward with lemon undertones. I'm not picking up on the flavor of the rooibos, which I like. Reminiscent of a lemon meringue dessert. Tasty!

This is a fine dessert tea for someone who is looking for an alternative to the chocolatey and fruity entries in Adagio's catalog. The lemon flavor is a little bit too Lemon Pledge for my taste, so although I am finding myself continuing to sip without really thinking about it, the balance of this tea is going to go into the resident rooibos fan's cup instead of mine. (15 mins @ 212 F, no additions)

I really wanted to like this one, it smells amazing! Who doesn't love a lemon tea. But I've come to the conclusion that I just don't like the bland, woody taste of rooibos.

A pleasant nod to lemon meringue pie. If they'd put toasted mate in it, it might have tasted like the crust was there too! This tea has a nice lemon aftertaste and improves as it cools, as I find many of the flavored teas do. One star off because the lemon flavor, while natural, does have a chemical tinge to it. (5 mins @ 212 F, 2 drops EZ-Sweetz)

Enjoying with the CommuniTEA today: Strong cream and lemon oil scents from the dry ingredients and packet today. When I steep as recommended (3 mins at 212°F), I notice honey-rooibos with more strong lemon oil scent wafting from the hot cup. When I take a sip, more strong lemon oil, with subtle sweet cream and herbal lemongrass notes on the finish.

Absolutely delicious! Lemon and vanilla are two of my favorite scents and flavors, making this a perfect combination for me. The bright lemon flavor is dominate. The vanilla gives a creamy, cake like flavor. I am adding this tea to my wishlist!

I was so happy when I opened the bag today and smelled lovely lemon! It smelled so much like when I made a lemon pound cake.
As for the actually tea, I decided to drink it plain. Now, I usually am not a rooibos gal, but there is something about this tea that makes it tolerable. If you already enjoy rooibos then you're set with this one!
The scent is very fresh and yes, comparable to some cleaning products. The lemon is softened by the vanilla. I didn't experience that rooibos taste that I always find a little off putting.
Overall a good blend and I am happy to have tried it!

This is an extremely pleasant tea. I couldn’t go5 stars because the taste is still growing on me. This is first time I’ve tasted rooibos and I am trying to separate it from lemon. It is a lovely decaf. Wonderful for evening summer beverage or for the caffeine intolerants. Especially since it carries no lingering aftertaste.

You know, I don't normally care for red rooibos teas but I think the lemongrass saves this one. It's surprisingly lemony - I genuinely thought I'd end up with a lemon coughdrop sort of flavor, but all I'm getting is a nice creamy lemon with a hint of vanilla. I kind of love it!

Brewing, the medicinal Rooibos scent fought with the lemon and won. Sipping straight, the lemon cried out and begged to come to the front. Adding a touch of honey transformed the fighting duo into...a cough drop! It tasted exactly like a honey lemon cough drop. This would be a very comforting cup of tea for a sore throat, but as a daily sip, it’s still a Rooibos blend, so it’s still a firm no for me.

The flavor of this tea is excellent, and it pairs very well with the rocksugar sold in the pantry. A vibrantly sweet flavor that reminds me of candied lemon peel in all the best ways, this is the perfect tea for someone who hates bitter flavors and loves a good citrus treat.

You learn new things every day in the CommuniTEA! Today, I learned lemon and rooibos can be friends. Lemony flavors and rooibos have so far never intersected in my tea experiences, so I was intrigued to see how they would play together today. They go together shockingly well, the acidic zing of the lemon cuts through woodiness of the rooibos, and is rounded off and muted in this case by the vanilla flavoring. It's like having a lemon meringue pie but with a little something special in it. Overall not quite as strong a contender as the lemon meringue green for the purposes of approximating that specific flavor, but still great nonetheless and also available year round.

I was tempted to eat the tea right out of the CommuniTEA packet today when I caught the scent of creamy lemony vanilla wafting out of the just opened packet. It smelled like lemon meringue pie. The generous 3 g./ 2 rounded tsp. of red rooibos tea with yellow marigold flowers and straw like lemon grass leaves steeped into a dark scarlet liquor that had a lemon woody scent. I brewed at 200F for 5 min. in a 10 oz. mug. I was surprised that I didn’t taste the rooibos flavor first. It was the lemongrass that offered the first flavor of lemon tempered by the warmth and smoothness of vanilla followed by the mild woody flavor of red rooibos also gentled by creamy vanilla and the citrusy flavor.
I could sip and enjoy this tea plain but decided to sweeten the rest of the cup with a bit of Adagio’s honey for rooibos teas. Although this honey pairs well with rooibos, it has a definite flavor of its own which I find almost molasses like in flavor. This honey can actually add an extra flavor to some rooibos teas so I used a light touch when adding it to this tea. The honey gave the lemony vanilla flavor a little darker and more earthy taste. Typical of brewing rooibos tea, there was no bitterness or astringency but the flavor of woody rooibos was present in the aftertaste. I found that the lemon and vanilla flavors had staying power and remained steady throughout the sip. A resteep was possible and a sweetened chilled version was enjoyable too making this a good decaf iced tea. This is also the perfect nightcap sip to send me off to sleep on a creamy dreamy lemony cloud.

All ingredients were present in my communiTEA packet today. Even a few blades of lemongrass made an appearance, despite there being an Adagio lemongrass shortage. I kinda felt guilty! Moderate and very pleasant lemony aromas were noted.
I had 3.1 grams of ingredients in my packet, enough for a 12 ounce mug. I steeped at 200°F ‘cuz I wanted to see what effect it would have on rooibos tea woodiness. I stuck with the recommended five minute steep length.
When hot, mild vanilla flavors were noted. Rooibos woody flavors were mild. The lemongrass provided subtle lemon-floral flavors. I added a bit of sugar to take the tang off of the lemon and add a little sweetness to the deal
When warm, moderate vanilla flavors were as as soft a fluffy cloud. Rooibos woody flavors were moderate in the background. Moderate lemon flavors took the lead. Very mild minty flavors were noted towards finish. From where, I haven’t a clue!
At the end, lemon flavors were shining with citric brilliance! A very very nice and smooth morning sip indeed! I felt I was drinking a lemony marshmallow. As a final note, lowering the steep temperature had no effect on rooibos woody flavors. (5 mins @ 200ºF, ¼ tsp sugar)

Wow the lemon scent was strong when I opened the packet. Really thought it would be overwhelming. After brewing the tea at 200 F for 5 mins the tea was an orange color and had a strong lemon scent. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Nice light smooth lemon, then vanilla. Lemon Cloud would make a great summer iced tea.

Received in the communitea box. I don't like rooibos except for one or two very slim occasions where it's barely tolerable, and I don't like lemon teas because they always come off tasting medicinal to me. Unfortunately, this tea missed the mark with me.

I can not believe I am giving a Rooibos tea 5 starts but this was very good!
The moment I opened the packet the aroma of lemons wafted up. Once brewed I then got a whiff of vanilla. The lemon and vanilla combined into a lovely tea.
I actually had made a salmon dish for dinner and the tea paired perfectly with my dinner!

This caffeine-free tea lives up to its name: it combines multiple lemon flavors with the woody rooibos for a light lemon cloud of tea. The lemongrass adds a bit of zing to keep the lemon flavor more fresh than sweet. It tastes like summer.

*Update. Had this with milk (vanilla flavored) only, no rice bran. Excellent — now 5 star!
Bright lemon aroma in the packet. Lesser dull lemon aroma in the mug. To my surprise there’s actually MORE lemon flavor than mug aroma AND it’s of the brighter variety, more like how it smells in the packet!

Rooibos is definitely the dominant flavor, but it's not unpleasantly strong. I would have loved more lemon; its subtleness is almost overpowered by the rooibos. Still a tasty, smooth and slightly spicy mix of flavors.

Nicer than I expected from smelling it, honestly. The lemon flavor gives it a tinge of Alka-Seltzer, but nothing so strong you can t ignore it, and over-all it s a light and refreshing taste. Naturally sweet.

Mild and light in dimension, and yet... A strong enough flavor that you do not want to overbrew. This needs something to cut it if you really like the 'cloud' taste... Plant milks can wash out the flavor though, so be careful.
