Had to start caffeine free and was super surprised that this does taste just like Earl Grey! This is my favorite so far!

This is my favorite tea and form of Earl Grey. I like how nutty and warm the rooibos is and it's such a sweet contrast to the bright citrus acidity.

I was welcomed with a wonderful citrusy smell from the bergamot and the orange when I opened my packet. Once brewed, my cup had the citrus of the bergamot on the forefront, with mild orange notes that pair well with the nutty, malty, and earthy flavor from the rooibos. It was a good caffeine free choice.

Delicious! The perfect decaffeinated alternative to my favorite morning cup of tea. I usually make a pot right before bedtime. I also add a bit of oat milk and some agave and they really bring out the flavor of the rooibos.

I thought that the bergamot would cover up the medicinal red rooibos, but I was wrong. I like EG, but not enough to ignore the rooibos. This one’s not for me.

I like earl grey teas and this was an interesting combination with the rooibos.

I love Earl Grey and I don't mind rooibos so this tea was pretty good to me. It was very flavorful in the bergamot department and makes a nice option for a no caffeine tea.

Updated: I steeped closer to 3 minutes and it was still super-soapy. Not a fan. I have it to my husband and he liked it a lot. He said it's his second-favourite Earl Grey, behind the Earl Grey Supreme.
Steeped 3 min @ 195°.

I'm not a huge fan of black earl grey tea, but this blend is tasty! I added a bit of sugar which brings out the citrus nicely.

★★★★★

Nice decaf earl grey blend, very citrusy and refreshing.

Strong floral fragrance that became almost medicinal to my nose after steeping. Even with a rooibos foundation earl grey is still a no go for me.

Usually I’m not a fan of Earl Grey I find normal Earl Grey too strong for me, but this one is just right for my taste buds. I also like the fact that this caffeine free.

16 oz, 15 mins @ 212* F, blended 50/50 with peach bellini, with cream and sweetener

Wow! This tastes NOTHING like my mystery eg with peach, BUT it still tastes AMAZING blended with the peach bellini. Its so warm and inviting, its like a nice snuggly blanket when coming in from the cold. Earthy and peachy, with no medicinal taste. Blends like this keep me open to Red Rooibos even though I typically dislike it. But I enjoyed this so much, I'm gonna blend it up and purchase some! Just wowzers!

Tastes like rooibos, tastes like earl grey. Don't know how I feel about mixing them, but i'll rate it kindly

Hubby loves this tea just as is. I found the two strong flavors to be warring but when I added a small amount of Honey for Rooibos the flavors played well together. A very pleasant caffeine free Earl Grey. I brewed it at 212 for ten minutes.

More lemony earl grey than red rooibos which is good. However the two flavors do not harmonize as much as I would have liked. An ok tea but not for me.

Rooibos Earl Grey is particularly good in blends! I quite enjoy it in with BLUEBERRY teas! I find Rooibie EG to be strong with the Bergamot note and less Rooibos tasting..so other fruity teas go quite well with it, in a blend. Also if you want to enjoy this tea with caffeine, mate mingle nicely with it, too...

I don't think this tea was enhanced by the addition of the rooibos.

I love Earl Grey! This has strong bergamot smell both pre and post steep. 5 min @ 212. The liquor is dark, almost brown. The begamot is strong. This is a smooth tisane, to my tastes. It resteeps well and has some astringency that it gives it a more 'tea' mouth feel. My go to when I'm feeling indecisive. Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

I love earl grey but rooibos can be hit or miss for me. The citrus notes are predominantly present and the bergamot is minimal. I used a splash of milk in my tea.

I drink this as a morning tea not too strong but offers just the right kick

Just lovely and doesn't need a spot of cream or sugar like your standard black Earl Grey. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Earl Grey but cannot drink caffeinated tea in the evening.

★★★★★

Ooo! I love both Rooibos and Earl Grey. This blend is excellent.

I was underwhelmed by this tea. I've had numerous earl grey blends over the years and this one is very rooibos forward and has none of the subtle intensity that a traditional Earl Grey is known for.

★★★★★

Took with honey and milk, honey alone, and then with sugar and milk - It's earl gray with a rooibos base, what's not to like? Tastes like my favorite childhood tea stepped up a notch. Took less sweetener than black earl gray overall, and the milk smooths it out nicely, but it was equally as delicious without. I personally prefer this with a half teaspoon of blueberry or orange blossom honey, as I'm out of tea sugar and granulated sweetened it but didn't lend itself too well.

I love Adagio teas, and have been thrilled with everything about dealing with the company. This tea is my favorite. I love Rooibos, and Earl Grey, and this one is an all time favorite of both. Not a fake earl grey flavoring, but real bergamont, and it is also just a lovely color both when brewed or loose in a glass container. Whenever I serve it to others, hot or cold, they always want to know how to purchase it.

The one and only tea that I ended up dumping out after first sip. Unbalanced, pungent; the tartness of the rooibos and the citrus of the bergamot combine to create a flavor that instantly makes me think of bathroom cleaner. Yikes, not for me, I’m going back to plain honeybush.

This is not bad. But, I am not too much of a fan of Rooibos. I had to try it as an Earl Grey though. It is OK. I will finish what I have. But will not buy again.

Very yummy silky flavor and smelled delightful. I did leave the leaves in my cup the whole time I was drinking it.

I love Earl Grey but my stomach can't tolerate black tea. This Rooibos Earl Grey hit all the marks. A little cream and a hint of sugar make it perfect.

I've read some reviews, and I can see I'm a more simple tea drinker than some who are very detailed (and no disrespect - I'm very impressed and will strive to become more detailed). I used a Keurig to warm my tea water, and steeped until I remembered the cup was beside me - the tea was tea-colored, so I figured it was ready. I recently became caffeine free after years of coffee drinking and was looking for an Earl Grey that met all of my forced-upon requirements (herbal, naturally caffeine free, no white-bleached tea bag...)

This tea fits the bill! One thing I don't understand is why there's blue coneflowers instead of blue bergamot flowers and the bergamot is added as a flavor...?

I'm not a huge fan of Rooibos - but the bergamot flavor hides the rooibos enough .

★★★★☆

This is a well balanced rooibos tea. It's definitely got the bergamot, but it's still a different tea from a black Earl Grey. Good for a late night cup.

A nice caffeine free alternative to traditional black tea earl grey. My go to daily tea! Add oat milk and honey to balance a healthy amount of tea. Nice strong flavor!

I didn't think much of this until I tried it in the Earl Grey sampler, I was pleasantly surprised and ordered a 3oz bag. All of my favorite notes from Early Grey but with a fruitier base. Perfect for sipping all afternoon as there is no caffeine but still a brightness that is just as invigorating.

What a delight to enjoy and herbal Earl Grey where one is able to settle into the rich flavor, texture, and tones during the evening hours without fear of being up all night!

This tea has a mild earl grey flavor, but it's still good. Honey wasn't necessary but was rather nice. I also tried it mixed with regular black earl grey, and might drink it that way for the remainder of the bag.

★★★★☆

It's a nice substitute for regular Earl Grey in the evenings, it catches the flavor of the original, but the aroma is obviously slightly different.

★★★★☆

If you love the distinctive taste of Rooibos tea, the addition of Earl Grey citrus and floral notes will make you love it even more! Nice for those late afternoon cups when you want to steer clear of caffeine.

★★★★★

This is my new go-to herbal tea. I love earl grey and it's well blended with the rooibos. This would also be a great option for people who find the bergamot in regular earl grey too strong -- this blend definitely softens the bite of that flavor.

I can’t drink black tea anymore, this is a great replacement for my earl grey black tea! Has a great taste.

★★☆☆☆

I love rooibos and I love earl grey. I disliked rooibos earl grey, was disappointing definatly didn't seem like earl grey to me.

★★★★★

I really enjoyed this tea. It's a smoother version of regular earl grey in my opinion. I will definitely order more.

I liked this tea when I first received it-- I felt fortunate that a decaf Earl Grey milder than Bravo was available. At this point, I've tasted more Earl Grey blends and have found other strategies for taming Decaf Earl Grey besides resorting to rooibos. I don't hate rooibos, and this tea can still be handy for blends, but I don't drink in plain and seldom use it in my own blends.

I was hoping this one could replace my love of Early Grey. Good news, is that if you love the taste of bergamot, this literally just tastes like a mug of bergamot. I've tried it hot, cold, with honey, with milk and it's still a little much for me, but I can see where it might work for someone else!

I I did not like this at all. I don't know if it was the Bergamot or what but it just was not good at all

I never even considered this combo until I saw it on here but it is soooo good. I don’t know what it is exactly, but the bergamot and the red tea go so well together leading to a cup that feels sophisticated but without the caffeine
