A caffeine-free twist on a classic blend. Zesty citrus, but smoother and sweeter than traditional Earl Grey.

★★★☆☆

This had a nice, comforting Earl Grey scent, however, I miss the fuller, black tea flavor of traditional Earl Grey tea.

★★★★★

I love Earl Grey's of all kinds, but this is the smoothest, brightest abd had quickly become my most favorite. Yum!

★★★★☆

This tea has a sweet and savory feeling to it. I started drinking this with milk at night (:

★★★★★

If you love earl grey fragrance, this is a nice addition to the rooibos.I love it!

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the citrus, but it adds to the pleasant Earl Grey taste.

★★★★☆

I love the exotic fragrance of this 'tea'. I like the rooibos as it does not have the caffeine of tea.

★★★★★

This was a very tasty blend and would recommend it to others. I believe it is is a nice delicate blend of both rooibos and earl gray

★★★★★

Delicious! It stays true to the taste of Earl Grey, but with the added flavor of rooibos, plus no caffeine. I'll most likely buy this again.

★★★★★

If you like earl grey black tea then you are sure to enjoy this milder variety!

★★★☆☆

I didn't care for the flavor of this herbal tea. I purchased the bags, so I couldn't adjust the amount.

★★★★★

Ohh I love it! Much like the Earl Grey but without the headache! Definitely going to buy it again.

★★★★☆

This tea was very confusing to me. I had finished my first rooibos sampler a little while ago and decided to try this. I actually quite liked the taste of the rooibos plain and really prefer the earl grey qualities with black tea. For a caffeine free version I would suggest just buying it decaf (oh wait, I don't know if Adagio makes that because I don't exactly peruse the decaf section all that often). Do what I did though, buy the sampler and decide for yourself. Have you had a tea from Adagio that you spit out and had to throw away? I haven't. They are all good, even if I don't particularly like them or plan to buy them ever again. Update: I actually started liking this one more after the review. I guess I was expecting an Earl Grey substitute, but this has it's own distinct flavor. It's worth a try at least once.

This was a very tasty blend and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of either rooibos or early. I ended up buying a 3oz bag of each to play with the blend myself at home. However, if you just want an easy, tasty blend check this out.

I love this tea! It has become my staple drink that I simply must have on hand. I love Earl Grey but I certainly don't love the caffeine after work. With the rooibos earl grey, I get my favorite flavor while being able to relax in comfort before bed. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Earl Grey blends but wants to skip the caffeine. This particular mix uses a bit to much citrus for my taste, leaving the tea sweeter than the black varieties I use. However, the citrus is delicious in its own right.

My husband, a devout coffee drinker, loves this tea.

★★★☆☆

It is what it says, a rooibo early grey, not bad but just not my thing, was worth getting a sample of if it sounds like something you may like.

★★★★★

This one is delicious. If the rooibos teas had caffeine, this would probably replace the other earl grey that I drink. It's the tiniest bit astringent if you drink it black, but (if you're like me and aren't about astringent teas) with a touch of cream and sugar it basically becomes dessert.

★★★★★

By far my favorite version of Earl Grey tea. The unique combination of bergamot and rooibos is incredible! I like this tea with a little bit of sugar.

★★★★☆

Pretty good tea. I think i prefer the black earl grey over this one.

I'll admit that this can't replace standard earl grey for me, but it is a nice caffeine-free alternative.

★★★★★

One of my favorite morning teas, I often look forward to drinking it, and I love the smell and taste.

★★★★☆

Nice tea. I pick up vanilla undertones. This for me would be an afternoon flavor profile. I would prefer a straight up Earl Grey as I am learning the rooibos is not my preferred leaf. If you like it you will probably love this tea.

★★★★★

There's a boba tea shop that I frequent that buys their tea leaves from Adagio, and they featured a 'Rooibos Grey Milk Tea', using- you guessed it- this particular tea. While I'm usually the customer that grabs a Tiger Eye Milk Tea, I gave this one a shot and was NOT disappointed! Let's just say I've changed 'my usual' drink since then. (Sorry, Tiger Eye! You got dropped to 2nd place.)

★★★☆☆

I guess I'm not a bergamot fan. I found the taste really strong.

I haven't tried it as a hot tea but love this as an iced tea! It's amazing.

★☆☆☆☆

I can't understand the complexity of flavor... Early Grey doesn't go well with rooibos IMHO.

★★★★☆

This is my personal tea. However, it is not decaf so I can only drink a small amount at a time. Good alone time tea. The flavorful bergamot is the driver. Wonderful aroma.

★★★★★

It's sweet and balances the bergamont oil well. Good for morning drinking.

★★★★★

Very tasty, you get the earl grey flavor without the caffeine.

★★★★☆

This one is more of my love's review, the earl grey lover. We both love rooibos, and the earl grey was present, but he wanted more bergamot taste. Not bad, and great due to no caffeine, I just can't get him away from black earl grey in the am. I liked this toned down tea.

★★★☆☆

Although I love both rooibos and earl grey, I found this tea's initial scent was bolder (I could smell the earl grey) than what I actually tasted once I steeped the tea. I missed the spiciness of the earl grey that I taste when it is made with black tea rather than rooibos. A stronger mix would make it great.

★★★☆☆

I got this as a free sample, and I don't think I would bother buying it in the future. It's just not the earl grey I know and love--it has no depth or boldness to balance out the light, floral, and fruity flavors like I'm used to from earl grey. It ends up being just that light, floral, fruity flavor, and the fruityness of the rooibos goes just fine with the bergamot flavor, so I definitely don't DISlike this blend, just don't love it. It has a creamyness to it already, so I'd probably recommend skipping the cream on this one (might overwhelm it) and just go for some honey, or nothing at all.

After trying the sampler, I ordered it in the 16 oz. bag. I love the blend, and it's my standard 'go-to' evening tea because it's caffeine-free!

★☆☆☆☆

First time I ever tasted rooibos tea. Must be an acquired taste. Even the Earl Grey flavoring didn't help me enjoy it.

★★★★☆

I bought this because I want earl grey with no caffeine.

★★★★★

I really like the flavor of it. The blue is nice too

★★★★☆

Not very fond of rooibos but VERY enamored of bergamot. So this tea gets me to enjoy the rooibos (for health) while I have that special flavor and aroma of Earl Grey.

I dislike most red rooibos teas, so take this with a grain of salt. The Earl Grey part is nice - present, but not overpowering. The woody taste of the rooibos comes through, so it's not as tasty as I'd like it to be, but it'll do on the nights when I want Earl Grey, but don't want the caffeine.

I believe this is the first time I've ever had earl grey tea of any sort because I was completely unfamiliar with this taste. It seemed strong, so I'm guessing that if you like earl grey, you would like this a lot. However, I didn't really like it too much. To me it has an odd taste. But I don't think the rooibos is the problem, probably the earl grey. Well, I've changed my mind about this tea, I started having cravings for it, now I drink it every morning, and I'm going to order more!

I don't have a lot of experience with traditional earl grey because I don't prefer black tea, so I can't make much of a comparison, but that's okay because this tea stands alone just fine. Very smooth, refined flavor, light and refreshing with just enough citrus.

★★★★★

Very bold tea with no bitterness, a great wake me up.

★★★★★

I am really enjoying this tea. It's one of my favorites.

★★☆☆☆

Maybe it's that I'm not a rooibos-lover, but this tea tasted woody/mulchy to me. It has a good, strong bergamot scent and taste, but the underlying root flavor did not endear me.

★★★★★

Super for morning with a little shot of cream. Good tea.

★★★★★

I have become to love earl grey tea. And now it is paired with my other fave rooibos - what can go wrong? It is really yummy!

★★★★★

I love this tea- it is my late afternoon/evening tea- the taste is smooth and soothing and I do not have to worry about caffeine.

★★★★★

Wow what a great flavor. I will definitely order this again

★★★★★

interesting flavor, you will like it if you like earl grey

★★★☆☆

I don't know if it's the decaffeinated taste or the tea itself but, it's odd.

it surprised me with a sweet flavor. I will add 1 tsp of this with a regular earl gray for a sweeter flavor to my regular cup of earl grey
