I'm obsessed with the combination of chocolate and mint. Naturally, I love this tea. I'm not a fan of red rooibos on its own but it works well in this blend.
Two classic flavors blended with sweet and mellow organic Rooibos herb. Very like chocolate peppermint bark candy.

Chocolate Mint is a combination that has held me since I was young. This tastes just as delicious as I expected it would. The smell from the bag is intoxicating. Rooibos teas are my go-to when I need a treat in the evening, and this always hits the spot.
I love that it tastes like chocolate and peppermint candy
Herbal notes from the rooibos are present in this tea, but the herbal undertone is nicely overshadowed by the well balanced chocolate and mint flavors. An easy drinker for sure.
It's a great evening tea. Tastes like a peppermint patty in the cup. If you like chocolate mint candy, you are guaranteed to love this tea.
I am a fan of everything coconut, so that's why I ordered this tea. Though I am not a fan of mint. Overall, good tea, but I am not sure I'll be ordering again.
Very good herbal tea. I really like the chocolate mint flavor. I was worried it would have a strong rooibos taste. Rooibos is mild mixes well with the flavors. Nice to drink in the evening.
Like other reviewers have said, this tastes like a York Peppermint Patty. I really like it- it’s a perfect after dinner evening drink that helps curb my sweet tooth. I like it hot with oat milk. I took a chance on this one because I’m not a big fan of chocolate and mint together but I like the cocomint green and I love rooibos so I decided to try this to see how it compares. Both are very good- I think the rooibos is probably stronger but the green tastes fresh and minty. Both are very well done.
I'm very impressed with this rooibos tea! I don't usually enjoy red rooibos but I find it adds a very nice earthiness to the chocolate flavors and deepens the overall flavors.
If you like rooibos, this is a very tasty chocolate mint flavor that pairs well with cream.
Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. I don't normally like red roobios but the mint overpowered that flavor and the hint of chocolate was a nice combination.
Tonight's packet opened and released aromas of chocolate and mint. A 5 minute steep at 212°F created a rusty orange-red colored tisane.
The scent of the rising steam reminded me of chocolate chip mint ice cream or minty hot cocoa. Notes of dark cocoa and peppermint mingled together with the woody rooibos to create the illusion of a chocolate mint dessert. A menthol cooling effect was pleasantly lingering after each sip, enhanced by each in-breath. The usual stronger rooibos flavors were tamed down, instead overshadowed by the chocolate and mint double combo.
This is a very nice departure from the typical rooibos flavored blends, bordering on dessert tea territory without having any sweetness or extra calories. The added bonus of zero caffeine makes this a perfect match for an after dinner treat.
Oh what a surprise in the Communitea box - cocomint! My favorite flavor combo! I've purchased green cocomint in the past, and then got a free sample of rooibos cocomint (thanks Adagio!) And I loved it way more! A wonderful caffeine free, chocolate mint flavored tea, perfect before bed with a little bit of sweetener, or perfect on its own.
Love this tea blend . This coco mint is really nice combined with the rooibos. It is surprisingly mellow and sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor.
A nice friendly scent of cocomint comes sailing out of my CT packet today. The cocoa nibs add weight to the red tea leaves and I have 4 g/ 2 tsp of rooibo to brew 16 oz. at 212*F for 5 min.The reddish brown liquor is woody scented mixed with a minty aroma. The initial sip is strong chocolate mint. The earthy flavor of rooibos tries to peek through the mint and as the tea cools the woody taste comes through a little more. A rooibos honey add gives the chocolate mint a candy-like taste and the strong mint flavor keeps the woody taste covered for most of the sip. A resteep of 7 oz. is my favorite cup with a more mellow mint flavor blending in with a more subdued woody taste. I like that delicious cocomint is the lead flavor in this rooibos, allowing me a cool mint after dinner treat with no caffeine.
The red rooibos has been tamed! Coco mint aromas from the packet smell like a peppermint patty. This carries through to the flavor. The coco mint flavors balance so well with the rooibos. Added just a bit of honey to enhance the overall sweetness. Steeped 212° for 7 mins. Cheers!
This variation on chocolate and mint makes a nice caffeine free option. The mint is the most predominant flavor while the chocolate takes a supporting role. Still, the effect is very much like a peppermint patty. There's a natural sweetness to the tea, but adding a a touch of sweetener helps make it even more dessert-like. That said, I can't say that chocolate and mint are my favorite flavor combination with rooibos. Something about the rooibos base just feels a little off to me.
Not usually a fan of chocolate in tea, I actually enjoyed this. The chocolate was not overpowering and the flavors overall were well balanced. Brewed 4 minutes at 195.
To be fair...I don't like red rooibos. I still made todays CommuniTEA sample and gave it a try. One sip is all I could bare...the rooibos was super strong...not much cocomint to me.
The chocolate mint is so well balanced with the rooibos tea. I love anything chocolate mint and this tea is wonderful. Love that it is caffeine free to enjoy in the evenings.
I’m not a fan of red Rooibos, but this was surprisingly delicious! I would definitely order this for my bedtime treat.
9/28/21 Update: Still love it. Still makes good lattes. Still suggest you give it a try, even if you're not a fan of rooibos.
12/14/20: I tried this because someone suggested it to me. Now I do like mint & chocolate flavors in general, except when it comes to hot chocolate, so I wasn't sure about this. But I love this tea! More than I ever did mint hot chocolate.
Even if you aren't a fan of rooibos tea I still think you'd like this as I think the coco-mint flavor is stronger than the rooibos. But the mint is well balanced, it's not super sharp. Tastes good with a bit of cream too.
It was ok you can taste mint and chocolate (212 @ 5 min ).
Oh rooibos, I want to like you but you are a taste I have yet to acquire. Chocolate and mint are nice but not enough to overcome the rooibos for me.
Rooibos Cocomint is a very pleasant tea. I don’t usually like chocolate in my tea but this is really good. Another favorite to have at Christmas time.
CommuniTEA packet tasting, this was hard to review. I enjoyed the blend, especially the cocoa and mint part. Unfortunately, the red rooibos knocked it down a bit for me. If I could go 3.5 stars, I would. If you like red rooibos, go for it! Happy sipping!
I'm not a red rooibos fan, but I tried this one cold brewed. No medicinal taste at all! Just chocolate and mint. DELICIOUS!
Not a red rooibos fan here so this was not my cup of tea. That being said, the mint and chocolate were well balanced. If you are a rooibos fan and are looking for a good late night treat, this would be a good one.
Wow, so minty and chocolatey! The rooibos gives it a solid, slightly sweet base to allow the chocolate and mint to shine. Very refreshing and clean taste.
I was skeptical about this one as not a huge fan of red roobios (as found out here I do like green roobios) but I absolutely loved this tea. It's perfectly blended. Love the combination of mint and chocolate. Yummm!! Another tea added to my wishlist.
Chocolate and mint is one of those delicious combinations that is good with just about anything! This is caffeine free, so it makes a great after dinner treat.
Refreshingly minty with just enough chocolate notes to curb the medicinal flavor of the red rooibos. I added milk and sugar and that allowed the chocolate to really shine, with fresh zingy mint a celebration on the back of my tongue. I actually enjoyed this more as it cooled.
Very mild tasting tea - good for an after dinner treat. I got more of a mint taste than chocolate in the tea. This tea tasted very good served cold!
Upon reading everyone's reviews I was surprised to hear how good this was, it just didn't sound like a good combination. However, after tasting, I was pleasantly surprised. I love this tea. Added a little sweetener and to my next auto ship. Yummy!!
In the bag, mint chocolate chip ice cream. Once brewed, the rooibos comes out. But the chocolate and mint really do stand out. With some honey and sugar, I can imagine this would be a good alternative to a mint chocolate desert. Pretty yum! Especially since the rooibos doesn't come out to strong in this one.
This is such a yummy chocolate mint tea. The chocolate is full bodied but not overbearing, and the mint is just barely there. Enough so you recognize it, but not so much that it takes over. Very well blended!
This is a very flavorful tea! The chocolate and mint flavors tame the mighty red rooibos and beat it into submission. This would make a great dessert tea.
Im not much of a mint drinker, but if Im going to have mint, this is my preferred tea. The chocolate is almost like a secret, but in the best way possible.
I don't know if I really like the mint with the rooibos, but it is a good tea. It's not Grasshopper, the fandom blend, that was in our Communitea box two months ago. Chocolate prevents this tea from going into three star territory for me as it will always be good with red teas!
I don’t typically like rooibos. But I do love chocolate and mint. This tea tiptoed on the edge of both for me. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it.
CommuniTEA Sample: I'm not a huge fan of Red Rooibos, but this one is better than most. There is a nice mint/cocoa flavor that plays well with the earthiness of the Red Rooibos. If you don't like Rooibos, this may not make you like it, but it does work well. There is a mint aftertaste on your tongue that is quite enjoyable if you like mint.
Definitely more mint than coco but quite enjoyable!
The cocomint was delicious I would like to try it paired with something other than Rooibos.
I have never enjoyed a rooibos as much as this one. It's minty without being over the top minty and the chocolate flavor is perfect. It's like a more chocolatey peppermint patty.
CommuniTEA update: This tea is still awesome and maintains its position as my favorite rooibos blend. It is a chocolatey - almost dark chocolate - peppermint patty in a cup.
27 Sep 2020 review: I coulda’ swore that someone substituted a York Peppermint Patty in my CommuniTEA packet this morning! I was fired-up and ready for a snack! From start to finish all ingredients blended excellently and provided the exact same taste that I was expecting from the git-go. I added some sugar to reduce any bitterness from the cocoa nibs. This help to provide a pleasant sweetened dark chocolate flavor of a an authentic chocolate mint. The was a very enjoyable sip. Thank you, Adagio. (3/8 tsp sugar added)
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this as I’m not a chocolate plus mint fan (shocked gasps!) but this was actually pretty nice, especially with a bit of sweetener added. The added bonus is no caffeine, which is essential for me! What a decadent delight with no calories! Good job, Adagio! You got me to love chocolate and mint together! Bravo! Happy Sipping!
I often find rooibos teas to be a little on the dull side, but this one creates a very soothing combination of flavors. I drank it just before I went to bed, quite enjoyed it.
I don't like rooibos, so I'm kinda prejudiced. This one had a weird chemically, plastic taste that was not chocolatey to me. No me gusta.
sweetened with cane sugar, this tea is very reminiscent of a peppermint patty :-)
This is surprisingly good. Surprising because I am not a rooibos fan, but the chocolate and mint flavors are really nice. There is still a bit of an undercurrent of that rooibos peeking out, which I don't love, and this is not my favorite chocolate mint tea on Adagio; however, for what it is, it's quite good.
