Rooibos Cocomint Customer Reviews

Two classic flavors blended with sweet and mellow organic Rooibos herb. Very like chocolate peppermint bark candy.

This tea is delightfully cheerful - sweet cocoa flavors blend nicely with fresh mint. My only complaint is that it was a little overstimulating for a caffeine-free brew. I will be enjoying this cup earlier in the day from now on!

This is my favorite after dinner tea in the winter! It’s a nice blend of all the flavors!

Very good for when I'm winding down before bed. Very soothing mint flavor that I can drink plain with no amendments. Unless I find something better for night time, I can see myself keeping this stocked.

Nope! This one isnt as good as the other cocomint, it has a weird added taste to it
I won't purchase it again

I was worried because I think this smells a little weird, but red rooibos always smells a little weird to me. The flavor is quite good! Most of the time peppermint teas don't have a fresh menthol flavor/feeling, but this one does have a little bit of that.

This is SO good. Cocoa, mint, tea. Three of my favorite things in the world. Put them all together and you have one heck of a combination!

★★★★☆

Rooibos cocomint has a strong, yet pleasant minty taste, but there was a bitterness on the back end from the rooibos that made me dock one star. Still a very good tea.

★★★★★

I usually don’t like peppermint in anything but I like it in this. The peppermint isn’t overpowering and it’s a good companion to the chocolate. This makes a great after dinner dessert-y tea and reminds me of the chocolate peppermint cookies and candies I liked when I was a kid.

I was not a fan of the coco flavor. It tasted too strong.

Smells like mint chocolate chip ice cream. It has a reddish orange color. I can taste both the mint and the chocolate. However, you can also taste the rooibos (I think thats what it is? This is my first time having a tea with rooibos). Some sugar helped bring out the mint and chocolate. Good dessert tea, especially since it doesn't have caffeine.

This is not a bad tea - my friends enjoyed it a lot. For me, I think I was expecting sot to be more chocolaty and more minty.

★★★★★

Every person I serve this to ends up ordering some for themselves. Love it after dinner on place of a chocolate dessert. Heck, love it any time!

★★★★★

This is another close favorite. It had just enough mint

You ever had an Andes Mint? This drink is that in a cup!
An amazing after-dinner tea with a great balance of mint and chocolate

CommuniTEA 6/11/25: I am not a fan of chocolate flavoring in tea generally. This one reminded me of those chocolate peppermint candies. Just kind of meh. I ended up mixing with a spiced chai which made it more palatable.

I tend to like red rooibos, even though I find it tends to overpower any flavoring it's paired with. The chocolate & mint however, seems to give it a run for its money. Steeped for 6 minutes with 1 splenda.

★★★★☆

It has a nice balanced aroma of cocoa, mint and roobois. I enjoyed it quite a lot hot - would be great in cooler weather. It’s like mint hot cocoa light. It is ok cold but I prefer it hot which barely ever happens.

The dry tea leaves smell minty, like a peppermint patty. I brewed this for 10 minutes, this is smooth and minty, I didn't taste any chocolate. Once it cooled, it had a weird aftertaste.

This is a very interesting tea honestly as it’s not good, but it’s not bad either - but this is my opinion as someone who doesn’t like red rooibos. I liked the chocolate and mint, it just couldn’t overcome the rooibos. But if you like chocolate, mint and red rooibos I believe it would be quite pleasant. I think it would be good as a black tea, but I will be trying the green tea version that is available.

★★★★☆

Minty with a hint of chocolate. I love how fresh it makes me feel after drinking it

★★☆☆☆

I'm simply NOT a mint fan, in fact I abhor the smell/flavor. I added adagio raw honey for rooibos teas and a splash of a nutpods creamer, in hopes of making a cup palpable. I'm drinking it, but each sip makes me cringe... Reminiscent of a bad bout of toothbrushing. the cocoa is there... But not enough to drown out the minty intensity.

This is a nice, minty tea. To me, there is a slight hint of chocolate, but barely noticeable. I don't know that I would realize it was there without knowing. The rooibos comes through which I like because I like rooibos. This is a really nice treat after lunch or midday and has the added benefit of no caffeine!

★★★★★

I love mint, and I love chocolate. Together they are a match made in Heaven!
The rooibos actually took a back seat in flavor but provided a natural sweetness. I found the tea refreshingly minty

This one sort of reminds me of an Andes mint with that unique rooibos sweetness that fortunately I am a fan of. It all works pretty well together even if I don't find it absolutely stellar or anything. Flavors all maintain equal presence on the cool down as well. 212° 5 min

I didn’t realize rooibos could that big. I’ve always the really fine tea. The coco mint could be stronger, but it’s still good. Best of all is it’s caffeine free!

It was fine, a minty rooibos but it is mostly rooibos. Chocolate isn't really present. I will find my chocolate mint caffeine free fix someday.

This was a favorite Teavana purchase. So glad I was able to get it again through adagio. Great iced or hot.I finished my sampler pack and will be ordering more of this tea. I like the
chocolate mint flavor and added a pinch of the butterscotch to it for a new flavor combination. I will want to use this to make iced tea this summer.

I do really enjoy a mint tea. The rooibos flavor wasn’t as pronounced as in other ones I’ve had either. The flavor is solidly coco—mint. I would definitely have this one again but I do prefer the coco-mint green version a bit more.

CommuniTEA sample, 5 min @ 212 F. This one surprised me! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was really good! I think that the cocoa paired really well with the natural sweetness and smoothness of rooibos, and the herbal/medicinal flavors of rooibos pair well with the peppermint. Plus, chocolate and mint are known to work well together! Good for a second infusion, as well!

Better than I thought it would be (not a rooibos fan). Definitely can taste the chocolate and mint! Not quite a peppermint patty, maybe more of a thin mint...rooibos takes a back seat here. This one might be good cold brewed, and Definitely a good idea for playing with some blending. Give it a go!

I wanted to love this! As someone who disliked red rooibos, the mint wasn't enough to overpower the medicinal taste. I could see really loving this blend if I liked the base!

I've been surprised in the past with other peppermint blends and this one was no exception. It is a nice blend although I don't feel like I get enough chocolate flavor (which is fine by me as I don't like most chocolate based teas). The peppermint is what shines and putting it together with the rooibos makes for an interesting sip.

I really like this when it is used in other blends; on its own, it's ok. The mint and chocolate seem evenly balanced, one flavor is not overpowering the other. The rooibos, however, is still lurking in the background, and it would take a lot more mint to disguise it. It's light and carefree, adequate if you are looking for a caffeine free dessert tea.

Smells like a creme de menthe candy bar. A beautiful blend of chocolate and mint rooibos. Pleasant and mildly sweet without needing anything added. I couldn't drink this every day, but it's delicious as an occasional treat.

It's like a non-caffienated reindeer fuel. Chocolatey, minty, and smooth. The rooibos adds an interesting note. A winter treat.

This tea is good for a warm, minty treat, but it just isn't my favorite. I wonder if I would like it more if it was a black tea.

I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. No sweetener added. Perfectly balanced and will be purchased in the future.

In the bag: Finely chopped rooibos leaves and a scattering (maybe 5% of total volume) of finely chopped peppermint leaves.

On the nose (pre-steep): Clear peppermint and rustic chocolate scents. Mint is a wee stronger on the front of the sniff while cocoa takes the lead in the aftersmell. A bit sweet.

On the nose (post-steep): Mint and cocoa flavors have dulled. The mild, woodsy smell of Rooibos has joined them. Still slightly sweet. Medium intensity.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): The taste exactly matches the post-steep smell. No bitterness.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Mint has taken the lead again, bright and clear. The cocoa has taken on a milk chocolate vibe. Almost no Rooibos flavor.

Opinion: An excellent blend. I adore peppermint and chocolate, so this isn't a surprise. Reminds me of peppermint hot chocolate during December. And the lack of caffeine is a strong plus.

Preparation: 5 minutes for the first steep, 10 for the second. 212°F for both. ½ tsp of monk fruit sweetener.
