The flavor of the rooibos was strong and distinct. The caramel did not come threw at all for me. There was a touch of sweet to the tea in addition to the already sweet baise of the rooibos but no real caramel flavor. Im sure this tea is very good for red rooibos lovers but it's just not for me.
UPDATED from 3/18/21: There is the warm rooibos smell coming from the CommuniTea packet. It steeps into a beautiful scarlet color. It tastes of nuts with a very subtle sweetness. Soft mouthfeel, zero astringency, and zero caffeine - all pluses. I like rooibos, red or green, so this is a fine herbal. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) brings out the caramel flavor that was too shy to come forward before. Nice tisane, if a bit mild. (5 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).
I enjoy the red rooibos teas from Adagio. This is no exception. It’s a very nice, smooth tea. The only thing I would say is that I would have liked is a little more caramel. I’m putting this one on my wish list! Steeped at 195F for 3 minutes.
Allergy season is upon me so I love anything with rooibos right now. I started drinking rooibos years ago to help with seasonal allergies, it is nice that there are some fun flavoring now available.
Roobios can be hit or miss with me. Some days I love the comfort. This has a nice touch of caramel.
When hot the flavor was predominately Rooibos. As it warmed the caramel flavor became stronger. I really enjoyed the addition of the caramel.

I used some dark brown sugar to boost the caramel flavor, which makes it have a great depth of flavor compared to regular rooibos. I tried this tea by itself and with a bit of milk; both are tasty and comforting.
I really liked this! Not usually a fan of rooibos, but the caramel balances well with it. Great iced as well.
Warm, buttery rooibos with a hint of honeyed caramel--YUM! It's a crowd-pleaser, especially on quiet evenings when you're looking for a warm beverage to accompany a good book. The caramel isn't as pronounced as I imagined, mostly lingering in the aroma itself, but a bit of brown sugar helps to coax it out. If you enjoy Honeybush Vanilla, you'll be pleased with this one, just don't expect a strong accent.

This is hands down my favorite tea so far. I’m not a coffee drinker because of caffeine and this gives me the satisfaction of the nice caramel flavor without the caffeine and syrups. I like to brew this and use it as a base for hot chocolate mixes too!
How can you go wrong with caramel? The combination of the silky caramel and the smooth rooibos is a treat, without any need to feel guilty about it!

I’m trying to drink more herbal tea during the day and so I am drinking more rooibos and honeybush teas. Between the two of them I prefer the honeybush flavour. I do use this one mostly in blends. It’s pretty good for a rooibos tea:)

while rooibos on its own is a little too medicinal for me, this is much much nicer. smells nice and sweet, and the caramel definitely mellows it out @adagioteas

I believe the Caramel to be the best of the Rooibos flavors. I mix it 50/50 with Cinnamon Apple Rooibos to create an iced tea that tastes like a caramel apple. Like the other reviewers say a little sweetener makes it more caramelley. We use stevia almost exclusively and it really works. This tea is great and welcome whether a hot cuppa or cooler glass after glass. Great stuff that we live on in our Texas heat!
this has no caramel flavor. Only tastes like plain rooibos tea.

Relatively nutty, with a burnt-sugar nose. Minimal acidic edge, and remains mostly sweet and rounded. Good for blending.

This tea has a nice, but not overwhelming, caramel flavor. The rooibos taste is more prominent than the caramel. If you love a rooibos, this is the tea for you. If you don't really like rooibos, you might want to try something else.
The fragrance coming out of the bag was nice. It left me hopeful that it would be a robust caramel experience (especially since I am a heavy duty caramel lover). Unfortunately, when I brewed the tea I only tasted the rooibos and nothing of the caramel. It was a smooth brew with a slightly sweet aftertaste and no bite. Overall, I think it was a nice drinking experience, but nothing related to caramel.

To start, I adore red rooibos - one of my favorite types of teas. So this was a great blend for me as the rooibos' taste isn't covered up too much. The caramel isn't super strong if you have this tea plain, but with a little cane syrup (or even caramel syrup if you please) you can taste the caramel a lot more. I often have this tea with a pump of syrup or with a pump of syrup + oat milk. Since it's rooibos, I let it steep for at least 5 minutes but usually go for up to 10 minutes/as long as I'm drinking it. Of the teas I've tried from Adagio from so far, this is probably my favorite!

It could have had a little more of a caramel flavor for me. It tastes too much like regular rooibos to me... which is fine because I love the taste! I was only hoping for a bit more caramelly sweetness.
Great tea both on it's own and mixed with other flavors. I especially enjoy it mixed with the hazelnut flavor.
