While this was far too chemically aromatic for me (the scent is SUPER caramel), my son and his girlfriend drank it with honey and milk. The two of them almost polished the whole bag off last night. Unfortunately, my kitchen still smelled like caramel when I woke up this morning. If you like caramel, you will certainly love this tea. I personally did not...but the teenagers really enjoyed it.
I like this tea, but it's not a favorite. Personally, the caramel is a little too forward for me.
Hate to leave a less than great review but this was the 1st tea I just couldn't stomach. I normally love the rooibos teas! In fact the Vanilla rooibos Chai is one that I buy in the 16oz size! I love it so much! But this . . . well to be honest, yuck. Personal taste perhaps, but tasted plastic and chemical to me, so glad I only got the sample. and couldn't stomach finishing that. I'm the type that has a hard time simply throwing out tea. but this sample went in the trash. Maybe for others. not for me.

So, I decided to get a bunch of samples of tea as a gift to myself this Christmas season. I'm just getting into loose leaf tea (as opposed to the stuff in bags) and one of the samples I ordered was this one. And I must say... I will almost definitely be ordering more! It's like drinkable caramel. Absolutely delicious with a splash of milk and sugar or stevia (I also added a bit of honey) which really bring out the flavors in addition to being caffeine free. It's a great 'before bedtime' indulgence you don't have to feel too bad about.

I think I liked the idea behind this one but somehow the incredibly strong aroma sticks around on my lips after I drink it and is incredibly distracting, almost nauseating! It also permeates the bag where I store all my adagio teas and if I spill it anywhere I can't rest until I've wiped it all away. Some may really like this but perhaps I'm just not that fond of the way caramel in general tastes and smells. SAMPLE IT BEFORE YOU COMMIT!
This was not for me, at all. It smells like burnt plastic and tobacco and it tasted like it too.

I had never had caramel tea before, but this one was really interesting! I didn't love it as much as I thought I would, but it was still worth a try. Very strong caramel flavor!

I love flavored lattes and specialty coffee drinks but needed an alternative to the high caffeine content. This tea mixed with almond milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top does the trick!
Caramel is the first thing you smell when you open this bag f tea. Sweet glorious caramel! before adding anything special, I tried it plain with just your basic sweetener. Sugar. It was nothing special in my books, but when i added my nondairy cream it became a pretty good desert tea!

The smell is to die for! Love it! the taste isn't as sweet as the smell but I'm sure I will get used to that as it is still a very good tea.

This is a nice tea. I prefer the Rooibos Vanilla tea most. But this will be a nice tea to use when I'm looking for something a little different.
So simple, but sure to become a staple in my house. The caramel flavor and aroma are deep, complex, and lovely. No artificial or too-sweet taste. It's delicious on its own, but makes for very exciting combinations, too. My partner's favorite is irish breakfast with a little rooibos caramel.

Great taste. Mixes well with Chai's and earl grey bravo too. Bags would be best since the rooibos leaves are very tiny.
Honestly, I thought this tea was a little strange by itself, not bad, just not really my style. Perhaps it would be better mixed with a rooibos, honeybush, or oolong?
I just got my tea in the mail the other day, but I am already so excited for my next order. The rooibos caramel is simply delicious. I personally prefer iced tea rather warm/hot tea so I drank it cold. The taste was delicious. Every sip reminded me of a delicious breakfast with maple. The scent of the tea is excellent as well, I have no complaints about this tea.
This tea is amazing! I love sweet tea in general, and this one is definitely sweet. You can smell the caramel right out of the bag, and while it's brewing it reminds me of a melted caramel sundae.I like to add a little sugar to enhance the flavor even more. I used to think the rooibos vanilla was my favorite, but this one might soon be taking its place! Would make a wonderful dessert tea.

Oh wow. I'm a total sweets addict, and tend to crave stuff like ice cream more than any other sorts of snack foods, but this is WAY too sweet for me =/ It's got a good flavour to it, but then it tastes like I took that flavour and added a ton of sugar to it.
