When I tried plain ol' rooibos, I never thought it smelled or tasted like cough syrup, as many reviews said it did. The rooibos almond, however, did give me that sense of Robitussin stink when I first opened it up. When brewed, it no longer smelled like that, thankfully. The taste is all right, though a bit lacking in almond flavor. To me, it tasted more like basic rooibos than anything with almond. It loses points in my book for that, but it's not bad by any means.
The smell is a bit strange to me (smells like almonds but with some other strange aroma mixed in), but the taste is pretty good. I like to mix it with other flavors, especially vanilla rooibos and honeybush hazelnut. You definitely can taste the almond flavoring, but it's not as strong as the smell led me to believe.
This is my go to tea when I just want to relax. The almond flavor really does taste like almond yet it's not overpowering. The aroma is quite pleasant where sometimes I'm not sure if I want to drink or just sit and take in it's wonderful fragrance.
Very sweet and mellow. I added milk and honey to mine, which made it even sweeter but I loved it this way. A great dessert tea.

Before Adagio I had never heard of rooibos. I chose the almond hoping it was a safe choice. It was a great choice! It tastes like biscuits and it delicious hot and cold. I would buy it again several times.
nice smooth favor ,kind of taste like hay ,but in a good way . The almond adds a sweetness to the tea almost makes adding sweetner unnecessary
This was ok. I was a little disappointed that the almond flavor wasn't stronger. All I could taste was the rooibos. If you are a nut lover like me you are probably better off with the honeybush hazelnut

Not much flavor difference than the plain Rooibos, which I think gives it a nice base for flavored teas. Wishing it had more of a Marzipan flavor to it like I thought.
