Mmmm...this tea has a delightful scent that jus oozes comfort. Naturally sweet on its own, the addition of a dollop of honey is pure decadence.
Rich, warm vanilla with the honeyed aroma and gentle toasty quality of Honeybush herb from South Africa.

I find this tea a bit mild on its own, but fantastic when blended with irish breakfast or caramel.
A nice, sweet tea. The honeybush flavor is subtle, and pairs well with the vanilla. This tea is good with honey and just a bit of milk.
I purchased two honeybush flavors. I couldn't stand them. Apparently I just do not like honeybush.
This tea is very comforting. The vanilla flavor is subtle and wonderful. Great to relax with in the evening.
This has a nice vanilla taste and it is slightly sweet just like I like it
I didn't like the peppery bite at the end of each sip it really ruined this for me the rooibos vanilla is much better
Sadly, this is the first tea I've had from here I didnt like. I got the sample and it smells wonderful, but once steeped it tastes more watery then like tea. I will try to experiment with different temps and lengths for brewing, but I'm disappointed so far.
This tea has a very round mouth-feel, but lacks strength (I brewed about 1.5 tsp in 8 oz of water). If you like robust black teas, this one probably is not for you.
As soon as I opened the bag, I recognized the smell: my dad's pipe tobacco. I was reluctant to try it because although I love the smell of my dad's pipe, I didn't think I'd enjoy the flavor of it. I crossed my fingers and hoped that the smell and taste wouldn't be the same. They were.
I think that if you enjoy smoking pipes and appreciate the taste of tobacco, you might like this tea better than me. I've never smoked a pipe, but I think this is what pipe smoke probably tastes like, just... not quite as smokey. If that makes any sense whatsoever. Just... Yeah. And it would probably be good in some blends. I'd be open to trying blends with it.
But on its own? Eh. I'm gonna go pour out the rest of this cup. Again. Yuck.
When I opened the package, I received a punch to the face with the fist of pure nostalgia. The sweet scent of Sir Walter Raleigh pipe tobacco filled my consciousness with memories of Dad, smoking his pipe as he fiddled around in the shop. It even looks a bit like tobacco. I liked the smell better than the flavor.
I think I really like vanilla in tea. It smooths out the rooibos nicely.
This is a wonderfully smooth infusion. Slightly sweet and not bitter/no aftertaste. I have added it to a black tea to brew iced tea with good results.
A great iced tea and a wonderful alternative to a black tea. It still has a strong, powerful flavor, but without the bite that a lot of black teas have.
This one is lovely. Great in the morning with breakfast.
very vanilla/honey flavor. I made it as iced tea and found it very pleasant.
Sweet all on it's own even without a nice touch of honey. Excellent for a sweet craving.
I don't know why I can't stand the rooibos and honeybush teas. Thought honey with vanilla would make it better--YUCK.
I ordered a sample of the Honeybush Vanilla and the Rooibos Vanilla as I am new to herbal, decaf teas and am looking for something to be a good standard. The Honeybush Vanilla is good and I can see why some reviewers like to use it for blends or for iced tea. It has a nice, light vanilla flavor without being overpowering. However, I personally prefer the stronger flavor of the Rooibos Vanilla to the Honeybush Vanilla. I should also mention that I typically drink my teas with plain with nothing added.
Very sweet, soothing. I will definitely order a full tin of this!
Very strong flavours. Neither the vanilla or the honey tones are covered by the other. Adding honey brought out both flavours instead of diluting the vanilla, and it went well with almond milk.
I like to drink tea at work, but I tend to get distracted and over-steep everything. I like to have red teas because they're almost impossible to ruin, but they aren't my favorite flavor. This tea is no exception. It's good enough for when I'm working, but I don't drink this when I'm relaxing at home and able to devote more attention to the steeping process.
This is the perfect bedtime tea. It is naturally sweet, so extra sweetener is not necessary unless desired.
I think this tea is a bit overflavored, with the vanilla completely masking the honeybush.
I added skim milk. Good with or without added sugar (I used raw), lovely for after-dinner/dessert, or a nice warming treat. Very aromatic, but thankfully not as sweet as it smells.
The vanilla does a good job masking the woody character. I can drink this only ever so often though.
This didn't taste nearly as wonderful and cake-like as the rooibos vanilla. The vanilla came across as artificial, and the honeybush became kind of woody in this blend. I'll stick to the rooibos vanilla, which I really love.
Honeybush's inherent flavor is dominant over the vanilla, but they still come together quite well. A little bit of the tea goes a long way as I've personally experienced with honeybush.
This one is currently vying with rooibos vanilla for best vanilla tea. I haven't mixed the two yet, but I have a feeling that the combination would be killer. Very sweet, very delicious.
It's a nice simple tea with good flavor. I like it.
One of my all time favorite herbal teas, the 'nuttyness' from the honeybush paired with the smooth vanilla makes for a truly relaxing cup of tea with no caffeine.
Smooth vanilla taste with a touch of fruity, definitely better than I expected
A standard, tasty caffeine-free tea which perfectly replaces a far more expensive tea of the same name by Teavana. Beautiful in color with a great, rich vanilla scent, this tea is my go-to nighttime infusion.
This tea is pretty amazing. And I mixed it with a few other things just because I could, with good results. I sweetened it with stevia but honestly, I could probably drink it without stevia.
A nice smooth tea with flavor that isn't too strong.
One of my favorite teas that I've tried so far. Excellent, very light flavor. I can easily see myself buying this pretty consistently!
Been wanting to try honeybush again and have never tried it with vanilla, very smooth and sweet, has a bit of a spicy scent, really like it!
I really liked this tea, it was very soothing, and it has a strong taste, though not in an overbearing way. It also goes great with anything c:
This is a staple for me. Sometimes, I mix vanilla with hazelnut for a twist.
This is a wonderful tea -- sweet and understated. It's perfect to accompany a good book on a snowy afternoon. It is Sean Monica approved. :)
A very smooth tea, but one that I feel is a bit conflicted in flavor. The honey and the vanilla are... an interesting flavor mix, one that I'm not sure I like. Either the vanilla was more subtle than I expected, or the honey flavor was strong. Not as subtle as I expected, this would make a good light dessert tea.
This tea.
This tea is so. Good.
Seriously it's like getting a warm hug from a honey-vanilla-ey blanket. Add a fireplace, actual blanket, and a great book and really life cannot get much better. Definitely the best herbal tea I've ever tried- next time I order, getting the largest size.
smooth with good flavor. Not great as a stand alone but excellent in a blend
This has been my favorite evening tea of late. I love honeybush teas in general, but the vanilla makes a good tea great.
Sweet sweet sweet, I usually add some sugar to my tea to satisfy my raging sweet tooth, but I don't even have to with this one. This sample bag lasted me a lot longer than the other three I ordered with it.
Honeybush vanilla has to be one of my favorite teas to date. Its already sweeter flavor is nice I don't need to add much to it to make a perfect cup.
Having never tried a honeybush tea before I was unsure what to expect. The vanilla honeybush tea tasted great and made me willing to try more.
A slightly sweeter variant of the rooibos tea. I'm a fan of both, but I'm probably going to stick to rooibos vanilla for tradition's sake.
I like it - it makes a good chai base and mixes well with others, which is exactly what I like these teas for.
OK flavor but I did not enjoy the aftertaste. I would probably not buy again
