This tea has the most amazing smell! Very sweet with a hint of vanilla. The flavor comes out the same as the smell.
Rich, warm vanilla with the honeyed aroma and gentle toasty quality of Honeybush herb from South Africa.

This tea has the most amazing smell! Very sweet with a hint of vanilla. The flavor comes out the same as the smell.
Loved it, it has a mild sweetness and great aroma. Add a little honey and it can't get any better.
this is a great tea to mix with others, on its own it is very light but still has a good taste, but its a great tea to mix with and definitely ascents some teas.
A bit too sweet and a bit too vanilla-y for me. Drinkable, but not necessarily pleasurable.
I actually prefer this vanilla (honeybush) over the rooibos vanilla. Nice, light taste. The only problem I have is with the scent. it's a bit overwhelming.
I don't really like the vanilla flavoring. It masks the good taste of the basic tea.
This is my favorite tea for a relaxing evening reading a book
Bleh. Sickly sweet. Not for me. Maybe I just don't like honeybush? More experimenting required.
This is one of my all time favorites. It takes the place of desert.
I bought this herbal tea to have something caffeine free on hand. Having tried and disliked rooibos in the past, I ordered honey bush tea instead. I found the tea to be medicinal and somewhat spicy, with little vanilla flavor. Some might like it, but herbal tea is not for me.
My first honeybush tea. I love the full sweet flavor and subtle vanilla. I think I'll be blending this with some black teas.
Sweet vanilla and honey flavors with just a hit of something floral in this tea. I really like it's natural sweetness.
Nice and flowery vanilla flavor. It feels so good going down. Very soothing and delicious. I think this is my favorite, however I have many flavor to yet try.
Ingredients: honeybush tea, natural vanilla flavor
Smell: Warm, toasty light vanilla with a buttery, sweet note.
Taste: It's a little bitter, and it's still slightly buttery tasting, but it's not the vanilla flavor I've been looking for. Once I added Truvia though, it was decent: sweet and buttery.
Thoughts: Nothing impressive, but it was good. It's still not the vanilla flavor I crave. It is better than other vanilla teas I've tried from Adagio so far though. I want the taste of vanilla extract!
Rating: 2.5 cups
Similar to rooibos, honeybush herbals are naturally sweet and make for a great base for all sorts of flavors. Unfortunately, however, this vanilla honeybush is lacking.
While the base in this blend is good, I find myself struggling to find the vanilla flavor.
Overall, if your looking to try a honeybush herbal, I would recommend trying the pure/unblended version before trying this one.
I was nervous about trying honeybush because I don't like rooibos, but I decided to get this as a sampler, and I'm honestly SO glad I did! The taste is absolutely amazing--sweet and mellow. I like this even better than the other vanilla tea varieties. I'll definitely be buying a big bag!
I really liked it. It has very little bitterness or acidity to it, which is important to me since I have a very delicate stomach. This is a great smelling morning/night tea to have when you don't want anything to strong. I'll buy again.
I loved the Rooibos Vanilla, so I thought I would try this one also. WIN! :)
The vanilla flavor is very nice. I prefer roobios.
I really liked it when I bought a small bag to try. But I've gotten bored with it pretty quickly, as opposed to several of my other favorites.
Really great bedtime tea. Soothing and full of flavor like so many honeybush varities. This combination is particularly good however. On our favorite list and I use it as an entry point for many first time tea drinkers.
This is one of my favorites! It is rich in flavor, with a taste of honey added. I like it hot in the evening.
I preferred the Rooibos to the Honeybush. The Honeybush had an odd additional flavor which wasn't pleasing to my tongue.
The honeybush hazelnut and honeybush vanilla aren't really that great warm for me, but sugar and iced is amazing to me
I love vanilla, and this is slowly becoming my go-to tea.
I have tried this and the regular rooibos vanilla. this has a more complex taste and I prefer it over the regular.
This is not my cup of tea but I prefer fruity flavors. Nothing against it.
I purchased this because sometimes I want decaf tea for in the evenings. It is pretty good. I made it as I make my other teas with sugar, half and half, and iced.
This is one of my favorite teas. My son introduced me to it. Great either hot or at room temperature. With or without sugar, it gives you a satisfying taste wanting more. Highly recommend it.
this, by far, has been my favorite. a re-order every time.
This makes a wonderful iced tea! We left it to brew for quite some time and it turned out delicious
One of my favorite hot teas. Great pick me up on a rainy day.
A bit plain. I think it would be a good base to do some mixology.
I use this to add a little extra vanilla flavor to some of my other teas. It is also pretty good as its own tea.
This tastes like honeybush candy, honestly. It's got a nice vanilla sweetness that makes the flavor of the honeybush so much nicer, and yet keeps it busy enough to be interesting. Even better than the rooibos vanilla, I think, though it's close.
Delicious tea. I don't know how to describe the flavor except delicious.
I like black teas, but this was very tasty. Made it iced. Smooth, not bitter.
My absolutely favorite tea. It's perfect with a bit of honey if you have a sore throat.
This is my favorite 'nightcap' tea! Although good plain, it's delicious with a bit of sugar, and would probably make a lovely iced tea.
By far my favorite kind of tea. It's relaxing and warm, exactly what I need after a long day of work. Best of all there's no caffeine so I can drink it whenever!
I like to brew this really strong, and then mix in a bit of honey and a lot of warm milk. Great drink right before bed.
I like this better than the Rooibos vanilla. It is similiar, but even more flavorful.
Not bad. It tastes pretty good, but most of the time, mine kind smells like chapstick.
I liked this particular tea for its natural sweetness but the honey like aftertaste was not something that I enjoyed all that much. I do however, prefer the rooibos vanilla which does not have the honey aftertaste yet still gives that natural sweetness with a smooth vanilla finish.
This is my first time trying honey bush. Not sure about the vanilla combination. It was good though
I had no idea what honeybush was, and tried this tea on a whim. It's good! It's an herbal tea that looks a little strange--like very small lawn mulch--but taste remarkable, smooth, mild and sweet.
The vanilla is okay, however honeybush tea stands on its own. I will likely stick to rooibos tea, however.
A warm and flavorful tea. The vanilla is not too strong, more of a hint that blends well with the honeybush.
This tea is refreshing and pure delight in a 2 to 1 mix with rooibos
vanilla. Especially good in the morning.
I am just becoming familiar with the rooibos and honeybush teas. I like that they are herbal, but definitely are more like black tea than other herbals. Be sure to use a paper tea filter, though, as the leaves are tiny, and escape every mesh infuser I've tried! This tea has a lovely mild vanilla flavor.
