Man go, man make tea, man make mango tea. Man go get tea. Man drink tea. Man go “mango!”
Lovely, fruity sip in today's CommuniTEA packet. The honeybush complimented the mango quite well. Little bit of sugar brought that tropical taste forward even more. Definitely a pleasant cuppa.
On this chilly December day I am transported to a tropical paradise inside my teacup.
This tea smells so sweet and fruity and the taste carries the same amount of flavor - a welcome surprise. Honeybush is a really nice carrier for this tea as it lets the mango shine. This makes a rich and juicy cup of tea which I didn't need to add sugar to, though it couldn't hurt.
Though I don't usual do a second steep with herbals, this one was so good I had to try. Brewing for 7 minutes instead of the original 5, I had a second cup just about as tasty as the first.
I can definitely see myself in six months, drinking this tea iced with a big slice of lemon!
This one smelled so good in the Communitea bag. I let it steep the entire morning as I went grocery shopping and came back to a wonderful juicy cup of tea. The mango shined through and no additional sweetener was required.
Mango tea on a frigid December day? Yes please! This tea is light and fruity and I'm already imagining it iced on a hot day.
I've tried other brands of mango tea and found them lacking either in aroma or taste. This one didn't disappoint on either. Will try it iced for the 2nd brew.
Beautiful subtle mango flavor pairs perfectly with the sweet honeybush base. From the smell to the taste to the feel this one's good!
Upon opening the packet, I was bombarded with the most delicious mango aroma, making me want to eat this, rather than drink it! After brewing, the aroma faded slightly, but was still very much present. The taste is decidedly mango, although the floral flavors of the marigold certainly carry it and do not go unnoticed. The flavor is milder than the aroma. As others have stated, this would probably be very good chilled as an iced tea. I added just the tiniest hint of Stevia, but this tea would probably stand on its own. This is a good one!
This tea is quite lovely! Fruity, mellow, and tropical as described. I do get some mango coming through but had I not known that was the focus of the tea I would generally just describe it as tropical. The honeybush is quite mild, better than rooibos.
Deliciously sweet, the flavor of the mango peeking out easily under the addition of a bit of sweetener. While I don't have great enthusiasm for honeybush as a thing, this was a good tea that brightened up a gray winter day.
Smells spectacular, but the flavor doesn't quite stack up. Still good though.
This is a good honeybush tea blend. The fruity fragrance is strong in the tea upon opening and remains after brewing. A good herbal option if you like honeybush tea.
This is delicious! Strong mango scent when I opened the packet. Lovely light refreshing flavor. Fruity herbals are perfect for me. A great one to end my week of CommuniTEA packets with. I'll definitely order this soon!
A tasty and a cozy fruity hug on a cold day. I liked it with a splash of milk, even though it is fruity tea.
I made this one iced because I prefer mango tea cold. It was nice, but didn’t taste of mango.
I was very pleased to open my packet and see several lovely apple pieces peeking up at me. The smell was so pleasant, fruity and fresh, and oh so welcome on a cold winter's morning.
I brewed this up as per the directions, and again, there is such a lovely scent coming from this brew. The taste is mild, a little milder than the smell would indicate, and I needed to add some sweetener ( a splash of maple syrup) in order to coax out the fruitiness hiding in my cup. The addition of sweetener does the trick, now I am getting the fresh, mango flavour hinted at before.
I think that Adagio does honeybush teas very well, I have enjoyed every one I have tried so far. I think this particular tea would make an absolutely splendid iced tea, a perfect taste of sunshine and summer in a cup!
I would give it 5 stars but I felt that it would benefit from a little more flavour so it could be enjoyed equally without the addition of sugar. This tea however, is a winner!
Nice mild honeybush tea which would be excellent hot or cold due to the gentle addition of fruity mango. A bit of honey really helps to bring out the fruitiness. Lovely for a cold winter night.
This blend was very well balanced, and no flavor overpowered any other. It wouldn't be one i'd buy to add to my stash, but i can say this is a very well blended tea.
Wonderful tea to have any time. He mango isn’t overpowering in the taste but dominant in the smell. Another rooibos too love and I will be ordering some today.
Such a good honeybush blend! Love the mango dancing around with the right parters, especially the marigold. Fantastic non-caffein alternative to one of my Adagio faves, the black tea Mango.
The mango flavor wasn't really there for me. The tea came through nicely and there was some sort of fruity flavor, but it wasn't expressly mango.
This was a wonderful herbal tea. I live the honeybush addition, much mire than rooibos. I'll be looking at more teas with it!! I like that this was slightly fruity with no astringent or tart flavor like most herbals I've sampled lately
Really good! The mango flavor plays nicely with the honeybush. Reminds me of summertime!
Smells like summer and tropical candy. The natural light sweetness of the honeybush provides a nice base for the juicy mango flavor. Delicious hot, and would be even better iced. This is one I probably wouldn't have tried on my own, so I'm glad it was today's CommuniTEA so that I know to order a bag for the warmer months.
What a nice change this morning and so fruity & inviting. Very smooth. When warm sweet, Mango and blended tropical flavors swirled around each sip. I let mine steep for longer than usual, probably due to the warm tropical aroma that filled my kitchen. As this tea cooled, wow enhanced Mango notes, showed up really nice! I noted for my wishlist that this tea would make a wonderful summer ice tea. (8 mins @ 212°F)
The aroma of the dry tea and the brewed tea (a little less so) is really yummy. The flavor is juicy, sweet and soft, with a full, velvety mouth feel. The perfect marriage between honeybush and mango. I would love this iced, too no doubt.
This 'tea' is a nice example of the fun of the monthly communitea - something delicious i wouldn't have tried otherwise
Good mango flavor, goes well with the honeybush. I’m a big fan of decaf for late at night, so a fruity one is nice.
This tea is a perfect example of how adding a bit of sugar brings out the flavor.
My CommuniTea Packet had an ample amount of marigold and a few apple pieces.
I forget Honeybush needs a longer steep time then black teas. So my first taste was very week. However after steeping for a bit longer I then had a slight fruity flavor. A bit of sugar brought the fruit forward. Making for a lovely light tea to enjoy this evening.
Mango! I love mango, and this is a wonderful way to get that mango fix before bed without keeping the fruit itself in your house.
This does *not* taste like mango. The fruit flavor in this and many Adagio teas reminds me of the flavoring they use in hard candy and cheap soda; even though I know it's not artificial flavor, it still tastes kind of fake. It's just not good.
I Love all of the honeybush teas, this one is no exception. In the bag, it kind of smells like a fruity alcoholic beverage, strangely. When first brewed it also smells that way. But it goes away when it cools a bit. VERY mild mango, very prominent honeybush. But I like honeybush so I'm not disappointed. Good warm and cold becuase it's a bit fruity.
Nice rich flavor & very smooth - feels like satin in your mouth & down your throat.
I purchased this because I was looking for a mango tea. This was much better to me compared to mango melange
I love mangos, but I discovered I'm allergic to their skin and now I sadly can not touch my favorite fruit without fear of breaking out into hives (or someone peels it for me). I got this in the hopes of satisfying my mango cravings, and this tea didn't disappoint! I'm already a fan of honeybush and it's toasty taste profile - but the mango blooms in this and makes the tea naturally sweet. Add a bit of honey sweetener for a more dessert-like drink.
I prefer the other honeybush options. It definitely has a mango aroma but not may favorite
Really good on its own, but I also like to throw this in with a bit of mango black tea for an extra kick of mango.
This is such a flavorful tea that it requires no sweetener. We drink a lot of it iced. It has a fragrant bouquet and a pleasant taste. Makes it easy to get your fluids! And it has no caffeine, so drink all you want without worry about the caffeine keeping you up at night.
Absolutely love this tea. I never get tired of it. I have had this in the morning, afternoon, and evening... and I always want another cup. Just perfect.
Fantastic as a cold brewed tea overnight. The flavors pop very well on this one and gave a off a great flavor.
Not a big fan its got marigold flowers in it and I can taste them it ruins the mango taste
Fabulous tea, strong mango flavor just what I was looking for. Can't wait to try this as an iced tea.
In the bag and after being freshly brewed, it has a strong scent of mango, mixed with the subtle scent of honeybush, which is very promising and pleasant. The smell reminds me of a bag of tropical trail mix. The flavor is exactly what you'd expect, as well - honeybush tea flavored with mango, and the balance of flavors seems perfect to me.
This was delightful. I really enjoyed this one. I would definitely recommend this iced with a little sugar/honey in it.
Delicious and amazing tea which I enjoyed. Highly recommend it!
It was a pretty straightforward blend of mango & honeybush; it tasted like I expected. I found it lackluster and probably wouldn't order again. Update: It was much better as an iced tea in hot weather.
I love honeybush teas and this one did not disappoint! Warm, it had a nice, sweet, tropical flavor, but when cold or room temperature, the mango flavor really shined. I let mine steep for longer than usual, since it was a honeybush tea, and the smell while steeping was fruity and inviting. I will be purchasing this one again.
I really appreciated the flavor of mango in a tea that has no caffeine it is been a treat every time I drink it
After getting the sample I just had to get the larger option to experiment with. It is very good hot and better iced!
This has just the right amount of mango for me. It smells so good and is not overpowering. This one is great hot or cold.
