Rooibos type teas are my favorite and this one was no exception. The smell is heavenly in bag and while steeping. I was trying to find a good tea reminiscent of nuts and this one has a great hazelnut flavor and smooth taste.
Mellow, sweet-toasty flavor of Honeybush herb from South Africa with hazelnuts. Creamy, cozy and nutty.

While I don't like this one quite as much as either plain honeybush or hazelnut by themselves, it's certainly a tasty brew in its own right. It works well, but I think the two flavors just work better separate from one another.
It was stronger than I expected but still a very nice tea.
Wow! What an amazing aroma- with a rich taste to match. Very 'hazelnutty', not at all chemical or 'flavored' tasting- just real hazelnut taste. Goes great with milk. Will become a regular in our collection.
This is kind of a typical 'smells awesome!, tastes...less so.' It's still an above average tea despite the slight disappointment from smell to taste. If you add more than recommended and steep for longer, I don't generally need to add sugar at all. I added vanilla soy milk once, which I don't really recommend.
Honeybush hazelnut is a perfect replacement for my morning cup of coffee. Nice smooth flavor.
This may be my new favorite. The smell is amazing... it's so warm and nutty. The taste is not as strong as the smell, unfortunately, but I still love it. I like to use double the recommended amount of leaves and steep for 10 minutes to make it stronger. Goes great with milk and a tiny bit of sugar (it's already pretty sweet on its own). Great for combining with vanilla, chocolate, and/or other nutty flavors.
It's very good! Great flavor and great with some sugar and milk.
Sweet and robust. A perfect after dinner tea and with desserts.
delicious! Tastes just like coffee with hazelnut creamer. soo good and a great decaf alternative to coffee.
I will admit I have not tried this tea alone, always mixing it with rooibos or decaf Ceylon, because it just smells so over powering. But in a mix (1:1) it makes a wonderful cup of tea laced with hazelnut reminiscent of a hazelnut latte.
I use this tea to help me with my sinuses. The lady at the store recommended it to my son and it worked! Delicious flavor and better than a flavored coffee. Great iced tea!
This is a full-bodied tea, with rich, assertive hazelnut flavor. It leaves a bit of an aftertaste -- astringent but not unpleasant. This tea would make an outstanding drink on a rainy evening with mellow jazz in the background. Outstanding.
Absolutely delicious
Slight touch of honey, with a warm hazelnut after taste
a decent tea. extremely similar to toasted nut mate.
Good tea, but I still like hazelnut black tea better. It has a nice, delicate, sweet flavor and roasty hazelnut taste.
This is the tea I meant to review orginally...this has been so far my favorite tea from Adagio. Creamy and rich, not a fakey flavor at all. I love to curl up with this tea and a little warm milk and honey and a good book. Scrumptious!
This packs in so much hazelnut flavor. It's smooth and rich and oh so delicious!
Good tea with a great earthy, natural flavor along with the taste of hazelnut. One of my favorite flavors.
This is far and away my favorite tea ever. It smells awesome and tastes like drinking liquid hazelnuts. It's a warm, rich flavor that's hard to describe, it's 'meatier' than most teas, if that makes sense. I prefer it as a dessert tea, but I have added it to some ice tea mixes to add a hint of nuttiness.
This is a fantastic drink to wind down in the evenings. I found that using a little more than the recommended 1 tsp. per cup and using a slightly lower water temperature than the packaging recommends really brings out the flavor. I finish it off with a little sweetener and soy milk.
The best tea I have ever had! I can finally give up my morning coffee
A rather interesting blend of hazelnut flavor with the honeybush. Needs about a quarter teaspoon of sugar for the flavors to work together.
A wonderfully nutty tea. I accidentally forgot my tea ball in the pot once and had a marathon brew... with a most delightful result: the longer brew afforded a strong nutty flavor which now has me hooked. By choice, I 'over brew' this one every time now. Add a clove or two and a spot of honey and you have a drinkable desert.
Very very sweet, a bit too sweet for my taste. But my wife liked it.
The honeybush flavors are good, and hazelnut is a particularly good one.
I find the hazelnut to be a little overwhelming. Did not like this iced.
Hazelnut coffee is one of my weaknesses, however with working until later in the evening a lot of times it's too late to indulge in a cup once I'm home. With the honeybush hazelnut, I get all the flavor of my hazelnut coffee and none of the caffeine!
This is my all time favorite non-caffeine drink and the smell is exquisite!
A bit cloyingly sweet, but kind of good. Maybe I did it wrong.
With a little honey the flavor really came out in this one.
Smells like hazelnut coffee but tastes a bit empty.
I had tried just the honeybush, which I liked for it's subtle sweetness. The nuttiness from the hazelnut is a nice added touch.
I like to use this when I'm craving a flavor closer to coffee. It is great for washing down cake and it doesn't have the nasty, bad breath inducing aftertaste that most coffee has.
I'm usually not one for nutty teas but this was very mellow on the hazelnut. Give it a sample try if youre worried first though.
Delicious! I'm a sucker for anything hazelnut and this satisfies it!
I just love the honey bush teas- and with hazelnut it's a well rounded taste
The smell is amazing, I made it the day I got it and was not disappointed. It's great without sugar and I think pairing it with either a straight black tea or a flavored one, like Thai tea, would make it even better. So smooth and had a pleasant lingering after taste too!!
I realized that the hazelnut alone is not a great choice for me personally. Smells great, taste was ehh.
I was attracted by the hazelnut scent in the store but knew nothing about honeybush tea. The taste was interesting but not as potent as I thought it would be considering the aroma. I don't dislike it but might not get this one again. Willing to try other honeybush flavors.
It's pretty good, just a little strong for me on the hazelnut flavor.
Great taste and smoothe the smell is outstanding. I love this tea!
This was my first try at a hazelnut tea, and I found it to be one of the best I could have tried. It's the perfect blend between deep and light flavours.
Very gentle hazelnut - It can be a kicker morning tea or a sooter for the evening.
Way too sweet for my liking. Its probably just me, but it made me feel sick for almost an hour afterwords... *_*
intresting tea. liked the flavors. works best with milk added.
Oooh, this is yummy! I have never had honeybush tea before and now I am seriously wondering why. It smells absolutely wonderful both dry and brewed with a lovely nutty-sweet scent, and that is exactly how it tastes, too. Mild and sweet and nutty and delicious! I will definitely order this again.
The tea smelled wonderful, I just didn't care for the taste.
The blends of flavors in this tea will have you letting out a sigh of relaxation. Delicious flavors of red tea, cream, hazelnut, and caramel make this one of the top teas.
