I drank this hot, unsweetened. It was good. Lots of banana flavor with a nuttiness. I felt like it was missing someth8ng to be complete. I think as a hot latte it may taste spot on to banana bread. That’s tomorrow nights drink!
**update: had this as a hot latte. I steeped for 10 minutes this time and it’s amazing! I highly reccomend!
An excellent caffeine free tea. This tea left an aftertaste just like banana nut bread in my mouth and tasted strongly of bananas and honeybush as I drank it.
This tea is great to have anytime. I enjoy it at night because it is caffine free. I have had Honeybush tea before, but I have never had a tea with banana flavor in it. I will definitely keep this one on my favorite list.

This is just delicious. If you're trying to avoid sugar this is an incredible substitute. It doesn't quite hit you in the face with sweetness like the banana bread photo on the website might make you think, but it is delicious.

I want to start by saying I really do not like MOST rooibos-types, I think they generally taste like tobacco. I only tried this because of the overwhelming positive reviews.
I open the pouch & am not impressed with the artificial banana smell. That's okay, smell isn't always everything when it comes to tea, I've learned. I brew it, then assuming I wouldn't like it as-is from the smell, added some honey & a splash of cream.
I have been looking for more herbal teas to add to my rotation & am surprised to say this will likely be one of them! It could almost be a dessert tea, but I will enjoy it before bed. It's not too banana-ey, nor nutty, not at all tobacco-ey...it's just very pleasant, yummy, & even a little cozy.
*I generally make all of my coffee/tea very strong. I use double the recommended amount (in the case of tea, I use 2 tsp per cup instead of one), if the tea is floral/fruity I use honey, if not, I do add a bit of cream & sugar
