When I tried the honeybush banana nut the first time in the portions sampler, I went straight to my best friend and told him it tasted exactly like a warm hug from my mom and a freshly baked slice of her banana bread. Then I bought a bag of it. This stuff is terrific!
LOVE this tea. It tastes like cereal. It has a natural sweetness (it is not sweet like sugar so don't get excited). I think it is better hot. I use the teamaker set to herbal and it has been perfect.

I really like the initial flavor, because I love banana nut bread!. I think I'm not a fan of honeybush because the aftertaste killed it for me. But for those that like it, this might be for you.

The smell of it, either when you open the bag or already brewed in your cup is righteous. Banana Nut, for sure. But there s also a kind of sweet tobacco aroma/smell. Recommended.

This tea is very smooth with beautifully blended flavors. It is a little on the weaker side, even when you use 1.5 tsp. It is still a very nice combination of flavors with an even blend, I just wish it was slightly more robust and full bodied. It is sweet and nutty, with neither flavor more overpowering.
I personally didn’t notice much banana in it, not banana bread too. Overall a very good tea though
Really yummy. Extremely fine so came out of my infuser and had to strain through a coffee filter. It's definitely worth the trouble, but I bought a new infuser with smaller openings to make this tea more easily.
