I was persuaded by the reviews to purchase this. I had high hopes but was disappointed in the flavor. The smell was good, but there was an earthy taste from the Roobias that was too strong for me - even with a shorter steep time. It gave me a headache. I found a cold version was best for me.
I really like this tea but you need to love bananas. I wanted more Nutcracker but since that is seasonal I tried a few others. This one would maybe be the closest in flavor profile - sweet, rich, caramel hints, great on its own and totally unique. I love it warm and with a splash of cream makes a perfect dessert tea.
it doesn't taste the exact same as it smells, but this one is a very mellow and sweet tea. it really does remind me of a warm loaf of banana bread!

The flavor is more pronounced than other honeybush teas on Adagio, so it's a wonderful standalone cup.

A fantastic dessert tea. I could not imagine drinking this all of the time, as it is quite sweet, especially with a serving of cane sugar, but it is a great dessert. The banana taste is dominant, but it is not artificial banana. It is well complemented by the nutty undertones.

If you are a banana nut bread lover - or anything banana flavor really - like me, you will become absolutely addicted to this tea! The second I opened the bag I was in heaven: it smelled like I had just pulled a loaf of banana nut bread out of the oven! And the taste? Even more to die for! I added a teaspoon of honey and some whole milk (as I take most my teas) and it is the most amazing treat. It literally tastes like freshly baked banana bread! And the best part is it’s caffeine free so it’s the perfect evening dessert tea. If you want some caffeine, I would recommend mixing it with any of the nut flavored black teas (1:1 ratio). I will definitely be ordering more of this when I run out! So good!
Wow! I've been trying to find the perfect tea to help with sugar cravings, and this is it. Super comforting too.
This was exactly as the reviews and description suggested it would be: like sipping on a loaf of banana bread! It's a strange sensation, but when you're in the mood for a 'dessert tea' I find that this one really hit the spot. It was good with a dash of cream as well.

This tea is well crafted and very much as advertised. It really does taste and smell like banana bread! If that is what you are looking for, this is highly recommended. I'm glad I tried it, but it turns out that I like rooibos better than honeybush, and I like a chocolatey nut more than banana nut. If you are like me, you will probably like the Rooibos Pecan Turtle better.
