I was really surprised by this tea because banana is probably my least favorite fruit and I feared that the banana aroma would be overwhelming. The scent of the tea made my mouth water and the taste was fantastic. This is now my second favorite tea.

This is banana bread in a cup! Smells and tastes wonderful. Will be ordering more for sure.

This is a tea with fabulous bouquet and flavor. A great addition to my tea collection.

★★★★★

Banana is a strong flavor, but in this tea it is really well balanced with the nutty tones. I found this wonderfully bread-like in aroma. It also finds the perfect balance of sweet, but not cloying.

This tea is now my new favorite!! It's like eating my favorite cereal!!

I just received my new order a 16 ounce bag. I was extremely disappointed. It taste completely different from the 1st shipment I received. This bag tasted like a very weak and watered down tea regardless of how much tea I use to steep.
Extremely disappointed. I would definetly not recommend.

I finally gave this tea another try and have to say it was much better. Not sure what happened before but it is much better and very enjoyable

An absolute favorite of mine, taste like drinking banana bread

★★★★★

I really loved this tea. It's a bit sweet, but not overly so. It tastes a lot like banana bread. I think this is a great tea to unwind with in the evening.

All time favorite. Tastes JUST like banana bread. Love to drink this with some cream and whipped cream on top for a dessert tea

I think this is my new all-time favorite dessert tea. It seriously tastes like banana nut bread.

★★★★★

Great flavor. I have heard alot of great reviews of this tea and I tried it for myself and I agree. Will repurchase.

★★★★☆

I m a fan of honeybush tea, and based on a recommendation I picked up some banana nut after being told it tastes like banana bread. That s a pretty close description! I was also given a tip to add in a touch of maple syrup - delightful! Also delightful was the addition of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, which made it creamy and smooth.

I read a review on here saying that this tea is like walking into a bakery, so true.

This has become one of my favorite teas in the afternoon. Takes away my craving for a snack. Reminds me of banana bread without the calories.

Has an awesome flavor to it, very rich and robust. I wish it came with caffeine, but you could always add a mocha nut to it for that.

Tastes just like banana nut bread! A nice sweet treat for the afternoon slump.

I may be undercutting my credibility, but I didn't know until recently that honeybush and rooibos were different. I'm not a huge fan of rooibos, but I love this! It has none of the medicinal notes of rooibos. And the banana nut flavor is incredible: not remotely artificial, it smells and tastes like banana bread with toasted walnuts. The flavor is a bit milder than the smell, but that's probably on me: I didn't follow the instructions and my ratio of dry tea to water was too low.

This is my all time favorite. It is a perfect cup of dessert after meals, add a little honey and warm milk and you have a masterpiece!

★★★★★

This one does smell and taste like to me like banana nut bread. Something to enjoy without the sugar, fat and calories! Second steep wasn't as flavorful as the first one yet still had a light flavor to it. I really enjoyed it.

The weirdest cup I've drank - in a good way. I didn't think it was possible to have a loaf of banana bread in tea form, but this is it. Warm and inviting, the scent of nuts and banana is so prevalent that it feels like a dessert. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot, order at least the sample.

Surprised that I like this tea, but the nuttiness really makes the cup.

Such a great tea. More of a dessert tea as it is sweet.

This literally could not taste more like banana nut bread, if you have a craving and you’re trying to cut calories, this will
be your fix! My entire office smelled it and now want to buy!

One of my first favorite teas I tried. This is a keeper in my stock

★★★★★

Love this tea! It makes a great treat instead of grabbing a baked good.

★★★★☆

This is delicious it tastes like banana bread. The only thing I don't like is you have to use twice as much tea as normal in order to get enough flavor so ends up being more spendy.

This tea was okay. Not one of my standout favorites, but for a one-time change up of the regulars, it was okay.

Oh yes, this is a great one. Love this one after dinner. It’s like a dessert. I often add a touch of almond milk after steeping for 3 minutes.

A bit too sweet at first but the taste gets a bit better as you continue to drink it

Tried this one tonight because I like herbals at night. This one is very flavorful in my opinion. You can really taste and smell the banana and nut but not overpowering. I'll be buying a full bag

I've been wanting to try this one, so I was glad this popped up on CommuniTEA!  The dry tea smelled nice, included a mild natural type ripe banana aroma, and all ingredients appeared to be in the packet.  Honeybush is a great base for this tea with its toasted nuttiness, natural bit of sweetness and sort of bready or baked good flavor/quality.  Adding a little bit of honey brought out a bit more of the mild banana, cinnamon and mild chocolate notes.  It brings out a bit more of the caramel-y nuttiness from the chestnut flavor, too!  What a comforting, cozy cup of well balanced flavors!  I would definitely buy this in the future.

I loooooove this tea so much! It tastes great with nothing added.

Part of the February 2021 CommuniTEA box. The moment I saw banana flavor as part of the ingredients list, I knew I was in for a treat. This is a very decadent tea, relaxing and homey as well. Somehow the universe knew I was in need of this tea - it’s so wonderful after a hard shift.

★★★★☆

Not a banana fan, but still liked this tea, the flavour was subtle

I was skeptical with today's Communitea which was completely unjustified. Opening the packet released the aroma of banana bread and it was heavenly. I still was unsure if the flavor would translate, but it was spot on! This tea isn't one I would drink regularly, but it was absolutely delicious and followed through on its promise! I would definitely keep some around for when I was craving a dessert like tea.

Really good stuff. Strong banana flavor. This smells really good. Did 212 F for about 10 minutes. Still was good for a second steep.

I've been sort of on the fence about honeybush, since it's related to rooibos, which I can't stand, but this tea is AMAZING and DELICIOUS! It really does taste like a banana muffin with no weird smells or aftertastes. No complaints about this tea. Five full stars from me ♥️♥️♥️

There's no better smell than homemade banana bread baking, and maybe no better comfort food than a slice of that warm, buttery bread right out of the oven. Adagio has managed to capture that aroma and flavor in this tea.

Hate bananas with a firey passion. The smell was overwhelming upon opening my communitea packets. Hard pass for me.

I love banana bread! So I was excited to try this tea out. When I opened the communitea packet it smelled divine! Nutty & banana-y lol, and I had a good mix of all the ingredients.
Thankfully the banana flavor is not candy-like, like laffytaffy. The flavor is a good likeness to banana bread - not a perfect one to one, but it’s similar enough to bring it to connect the dots.
Besides the chestnut, the honeybush also brings its natural woody sweetness to the party. It actually helps hammer in the ‘bread’ or ‘baked goods’ aspect of the flavor for me.
Sugar helps enhance the flavors, but since honeybush is naturally sweet one has to be careful not to oversweeten it. Milk or cream are also a welcome addition.

Really enjoyed this one and it was a great dessert tea. Didn't taste artificial and had a great balance of banana, but, and honey tastes.

Glad I was able to try this through the CommuniTEA to see what all the fuss is about! I am not a fan of banana or banana bread (which this tea is often compared to) but my husband is, so we shared. Neither of us tasted banana or nut while hot. He was a bit disappointed; this smelled better than it tasted to him. As it cooled I started to get more “banana” but it was not a very natural flavor. Strangely the overall flavor was of maple syrup, though I don’t see how? It was not bad, but overly sweet for us with no substance.

I'm not a huge banana fan, but I absolutely love this herbal honeybush blend. It's balanced quite well, as none of the notes are overpowering. This one definitely surprised me! Brewed at 212°F for 5 minutes.
