A strong aroma of banana filled the air upon opening this package of tea. It literally smelled like fresh baked banana bread. It made my mouth water. The aroma remained all through the steeping which was very nice.
I steeped for the recommended time at the recommended temperature and sweetened with 2 tsp of sugar for 16 oz. In retrospect, I might be able to pull back on the rock tea sugar a little bit, even given my sweet tooth.
While hot, banana was the strongest flavor, although as it cooled others came to the forefront, especially a nutty flavor. Apple was a bit timid, but was there. This is a very nice, comforting sip that I will definitely enjoy having again. I think my rating is just shy of a 5, perhaps a 4.7 or 4.8. Very delicious, and I think it will taste just as well in blends as alone. @adagioteas

Banana bread in a cup! I'm sad I only bought a sample and will definitely be buying more. Banana bread is one of my favorite treats, so this tea has quickly become a favorite.

This tea is in the top tier of my favorites list and will definitely be repurchased. My partner loved it even more than I did as I was pleasantly surprised at the realism of its' banana taste. I am indifferent to bananas as a fruit but I enjoy banana bread. However, I abhor artificial leaning banana flavors and scents. This was spot on. I enjoy honeybush tea anyway when I want a no caffeine/herbal and this just knocked my socks off. It really did smell like banana nut bread and has natural sweetness. I tried it with and without sweetener and it really did not need any enhancement. Nevertheless, I drank it with sweetener and a little cream because that is how I like my dessert teas. I enjoy a bit of a dessert tea to satisfy my sweet tooth without having all the calories of a real dessert. I prefer this hot but it is sooo tasty I downed it cold the next morning. To get the sensation of a dessert though, hot is preferred. I found it can steep as long as you like without becoming bitter. I was able to get at least 3 steeps before the flavor gave out.

This is a great desert tea that isn't overly sweet. I added just a little honey to make the flavors come forward and wow, it tasted just like banana bread. I'll be ordering this again.

Another unexpectedly tasty treat in tea form. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the combination of banana and tea, but found this surprisingly pleasant. If anything, I think the banana flavor could have been a bit stronger for my tastes. I also think I would have preferred a creamier taste, which I may try to experiment with and create on my own. All in all, this is a solidly good tea though.
This flavor is an absolute hoot ~ it actually tastes like banana bread! I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will be ordering more to experiment with during Mad Tea Science!

a true dessert tea, taste like a banana muffin or banana bread. i made the mistake and added some agave before testing it and it was way too sweet! added a little oatmilk and it made a big difference in giving it that banana nut bread flava flav. Too sweet for my taste but i can see why people would love this, might of been better for me if i didn't add the agave. *Update I have since tried this tea with less sweetener and its perfect. Also I've even tried it without oat milk and its just as good and has a more nut bread flavor when doing so. Flavor is spot on 5/5

I was very excited about this tea for the first couple of drinks. It was definitely unique. you could also taste the banana flavor, but about halfway through the cup I just couldn't bring myself to take another drink. Not all fruits make good flavorings for teas. In my opinion this failed experiment is a perfect example.
highly recommend having this with cakes and baked goods, but if you don't have any, this tea itself will fill that craving close enough. i haven't had this sweetened yet, but i bet even those with a sweet tooth may not even need the sugar to enjoy this tea's banana bread-y flavor.

Maybe I just prefer rooibos over honeybush, but this didn't impress me. I would drink it if I were low on rooibos options.
This honeybush tea tastes like a warm banana muffin. I like to add a bit of warmed sugar free hazelnut cream for a decadent cup that feels like I'm being naughty. One of the most delicious cups of tea I've ever had. An excellent alternative when the sweet cravings kick in. Highly recommend!

This isn’t bad, but I wanted to like it more than I do. I’ve liked a similar banana honeybush blend from another brand but this one tasted more of an artificial banana flavor to me. It’s fine, and will be drunk…just don’t think it’s a repurchase.

Today's CommuniTea packet is honeybush banana nut, which is made of honeybush tea, apple pieces, cinnamon, cocoa nibs, marigolds, and banana and chestnut flavors. I gave the packet to one of my friends to try and she loved it. She had never had honeybush before and she thought it was wonderful. 'I taste the bananas. I taste the nuts. It's banana bread!'
A very tasty tisane the mimics the flavor of banana nut bread nicely. The Honeybush adds a nice undertone without the woodiness of rooibos.
I have no idea how they do it, but Adagio manages to make this tea taste exactly like a piece of banana bread! It doesn't taste artificial at all, and makes for a very soothing evening cuppa thanks to the lack of caffeine. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to branch out into some non typical flavors!

Update, CT, 2-23-2-22: This tea still fabulous; definitely a favorite. There is a beautifully, nutty, sweet taste in this amber colored tea. This is a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. (212F for 5min)
This is a great occasional tea when one wants a little sweetness to end the day. It really is reminiscent of banana nut bread and I really enjoyed it. It does have a sweetness though so I would not want it everyday.
This tea was wonderful - from the fresh aroma when I opened the package, to the heavenly smells coming from the cup while brewing, and then to the delicious taste - oh my. I would highly recommend this tea - it was much more than I expected and so glad to have the opportunity to try it out.
