Love this tea! Taste just like banana bread. Makes my morning so much better.

a true dessert tea, taste like a banana muffin or banana bread. i made the mistake and added some agave before testing it and it was way too sweet! added a little oatmilk and it made a big difference in giving it that banana nut bread flava flav. Too sweet for my taste but i can see why people would love this, might of been better for me if i didn't add the agave. *Update I have since tried this tea with less sweetener and its perfect. Also I've even tried it without oat milk and its just as good and has a more nut bread flavor when doing so. Flavor is spot on 5/5

This is my go-to when I crave a banana muffin but don't want the calories. I never thought a banana-flavored tea would be so delicious. No need to pre-heat the oven and get all the gadgets out. Banana muffins are now always available in just 5 minutes! Perfect for a keto diet and a life without grains.

I'm not a huge fan of herbal teas usually but this one is incredible. With sugar, it's a perfect dessert tea

This is my favorite hineybush tea ever! I never thought I'd like a banana tea but it is very comforting and well balanced in flavor. Great before bed.

I didn't know you could drink banana nut bread, but turns out you can, and without caffeine as well, it's great!

This tea is amazing!! I will go as far as saying it's the best tea I've ever had! Tastes like freshly baked banana bread. A sweet treat without the calories!

★★★★★

This tea is delicious. A frequent go-to with breakfast. It’s a banana nut muffin in a mug. No sweetener needed. Is wonderful hot and pretty tasty cold too.

Like having a slice of banana bread in a cup. Such a treat.

★★★★★

I call this tea, a hug in a mug. I add sugar and frothed milk and I am in heaven. If you like banana bread, this tea is for you!

★★☆☆☆

I was very excited about this tea for the first couple of drinks. It was definitely unique. you could also taste the banana flavor, but about halfway through the cup I just couldn't bring myself to take another drink. Not all fruits make good flavorings for teas. In my opinion this failed experiment is a perfect example.

★★★★★

highly recommend having this with cakes and baked goods, but if you don't have any, this tea itself will fill that craving close enough. i haven't had this sweetened yet, but i bet even those with a sweet tooth may not even need the sugar to enjoy this tea's banana bread-y flavor.

★★★★★

This one everyone in my family feels strongly about, either loving or hating it. I personally love it, I feel like the banana is subtle and the baked goods flavor is prominent

★★★☆☆

Maybe I just prefer rooibos over honeybush, but this didn't impress me. I would drink it if I were low on rooibos options.

★★★★★

This honeybush tea tastes like a warm banana muffin. I like to add a bit of warmed sugar free hazelnut cream for a decadent cup that feels like I'm being naughty. One of the most delicious cups of tea I've ever had. An excellent alternative when the sweet cravings kick in. Highly recommend!

THE BEST dessert tea! I love having a cup of this tea and I don't even need to add anything to it.

Absolutely love this. Smells like Banana Nut bread and the taste takes you right there. I love that it doesn't taste artificial at all but yet it has a wonderful sweetness. Putting it on the staple list!

This isn’t bad, but I wanted to like it more than I do. I’ve liked a similar banana honeybush blend from another brand but this one tasted more of an artificial banana flavor to me. It’s fine, and will be drunk…just don’t think it’s a repurchase.

Wonderful tea. This is my second time ordering it. I love having caffeine free varieties for when I want a cup at night, and for when my kids want some tea.

I love tea but lately we mostly get grass clippings, flower trimming and what ever was left on the spice shelf. Could we just get some good tea?

Today's CommuniTea packet is honeybush banana nut, which is made of honeybush tea, apple pieces, cinnamon, cocoa nibs, marigolds, and banana and chestnut flavors. I gave the packet to one of my friends to try and she loved it. She had never had honeybush before and she thought it was wonderful. 'I taste the bananas. I taste the nuts. It's banana bread!'

A very tasty tisane the mimics the flavor of banana nut bread nicely. The Honeybush adds a nice undertone without the woodiness of rooibos.

I have no idea how they do it, but Adagio manages to make this tea taste exactly like a piece of banana bread! It doesn't taste artificial at all, and makes for a very soothing evening cuppa thanks to the lack of caffeine. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to branch out into some non typical flavors!

This smells exactly like banana nut bread, although the taste is a bit more banana than nut, it's still quite tasty

Update, CT, 2-23-2-22: This tea still fabulous; definitely a favorite. There is a beautifully, nutty, sweet taste in this amber colored tea. This is a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. (212F for 5min)
This is a great occasional tea when one wants a little sweetness to end the day. It really is reminiscent of banana nut bread and I really enjoyed it. It does have a sweetness though so I would not want it everyday.

This tea was wonderful - from the fresh aroma when I opened the package, to the heavenly smells coming from the cup while brewing, and then to the delicious taste - oh my. I would highly recommend this tea - it was much more than I expected and so glad to have the opportunity to try it out.

Banana nut bread tea? Hmm, I don't know. Sounds a bit odd but it is the Communitea so I will at least try it. Wow, this smells amazing and tastes banana nutty and freshed baked. Wait, where did if go? My cup is empty. On the list this goes. Delicious!

I mean, it’s banana nut. It’s delicious! I started out drinking it black and it was really good. Then I added cream and sweetness just to see how it worked and WOWZA. Incredible! So, so good. I love that honeybush is so forgiving too. Forget it’s steeping and leave it twenty minutes? No problem. Still yummy.

Oh wow, this made me think of biting into a banana nut muffin even before before I read the description. A rather sweet tea.

I have tried this a few times before but never reviewed it. I remember enjoying it and see why it is a popular tea. I saved it until the afternoon to enjoy. I got distracted and let it steep for 45 mins. It was more delicious than I remember! It does taste exactly as banana bread. Looking forward to drinking this again .

Yummy. Tastes like a banana muffin. I will never not drink this tea! I still feel that it must be hot, as the flavors do not hold up well when cold

The dried tea in my CommuniTea packet smelled lightly of bananas. I steeped it for 4 minutes at boiling, and added a little sweetener. The tea tastes exactly like liquid banana bread with walnuts in it like my Mom used to make. Very interesting and pleasant taste

This is a tea I was skeptical about when I first smelled it 'Banana nut waffles, as a tea?!'. So delicious, the aroma is strong; but, the flavors are subtle and unassuming. Delicious!

I don't like bananas, so I gave this to a friend to try. She loved it and said it tasted exactly like banana bread.

The initial aroma after freshly brewing is that of maple and brown sugar oatmeal, with a gorgeous deep amber hue. Unlike that initial aroma, this tea tastes almost exactly like a loaf of banana nut bread in my cup!

This is quite an enjoyable dessert tea with no caffeine. It is much sweeter than you expect even through there is no sugar added. The honeybush is a much better base for this than a rooibos would be. It really nails the banana nut flavor and is quite enjoyable.

It really really does taste like banana bread! Bananay, nutty, a hint of cinnamon. Everything good without all the carbs!

Opening this morning's CT packet is like opening a doorway to a bakery - the fresh, warm scent of banana bread immediately emerges in all its comforting richness. But a peek inside? Not bananas, but *heaps* of apples nestled in the rich red bed of honeybush tea. An enticing sight either way, and off we go to the kettle!

The scent of baking banana bread only grows stronger as the tea steeps, and once poured, my cup becomes the little oven from which the promising scent wafts. The first sip gives truth to the aroma: bananas! But those apples in my packet were no slouch either, and they bide their time. While the banana starts strong, it gives way to the apple as the cup cools, which brings with it a hint of cinnamon and a warm, nutty finish.

While I started with no additives, I did eventually add some cream for the purpose of experimenting, and I'm glad I did. While my first impression was that the tea needed nothing, a splash of cream elevated the flavors to another level and rounded them out, giving the 'bread' flavor the extra body it needed. Overall, an excellent cup. I look forward to experimenting with it more in the future, perhaps with brown sugar or with honeys!
