Piña colada with some substance. The coconut and pineapple are equally present and bold with a nice strong green rooibos base to lend some natural sweetness. I added monk fruit to mellow the bitterness and soapiness of the rose and hibiscus and wow! Wonderfully relaxing when enjoyed warm in the evenings to wind down since it's caffeine free, but I can see this as a summertime staple iced or cold brewed.

The coconut and pineapple blended perfectly for a comforting tropical taste. The rooibos and apple added a great flavor boost. A great tea to wind down the day with.

CommuniTEA 6/1/22: This tea surprised me. I like all the flavors and how they blend together. However, I don't like the scent of the tea. So I'm holding my breath while I sip.

This green rooibos blend is a light pineapple coconut tea. I didn't taste any hibiscus or rose petals. It's good cold brewed.

I went ahead and cold brewed this tea. It was so amazing and wonderfully fruity. It was like being in the tropics.

Yum, this tea was made to be cold brewed. The coconut is strong but not overpowering. I really like this one.

This tea is as delightful as others had said it was. I read the ingredients which sounded like a great island drink. My only concern was that the blend contains hibiscus. I usually find it too tart for me, as I don’t like adding sweetener to my teas. Therefore, I lowered the temp to 180 and brewed it for 5 minutes. I’m not noticing the hibiscus separately and I’m enjoying it very much. I’m sure it would make an excellent iced tea.

This tea wasn't for me. For whatever reason my brain decided it smelled and tasted like butter when first brewed hot, which was really weird and I have no idea how or why. Once it started to cool the main flavor I got was coconut with a tiny bit of pineapple, which wasn't bad but I wish the pineapple was a bit stronger. This tea sounds like it would be best iced based on reading the other reviews, which I might try next time if I sample this one again.

WARNING: This reviewer does NOT like coconut. But, I had the opportunity to try this tea through the CommuniTEA. I opted to cold-brew my single serving pouch, and the resulting infusion had a strong coconut taste that reminded me a little of a strong coconut water, but with a creamier feel. (Note: My aversion to coconut is largely textural, but I associate the flavor so much with the texture that sometimes I have trouble separating the two.) There’s a subtle tangy sweetness from the pineapple, but for the most part, the coconut notes overshadow the fruitiness from the pineapple. Though the coconut flavor was strong, my preparation method and the smooth green rooibos base muted the coconut notes enough that I can see how this blend would make a refreshing iced tea in the summer. I didn’t dislike it as much as I suspected, but I’ll save the rest of the glass for my husband.

This tea is great for summertime, especially as a cold brew. All the flavors were very summery and quite enjoyable.

I cold brewed this tea overnight, it was a nice cold refreshing drink. The coconut was at the forefront and was a nice tropical escape, but suddenly there was an odd bitterness that took over.. curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal... though I'm not sure if it was the rose petals, hibiscus, or maybe the green rooibos. Triple culprits, I suspect the rosepetals, they're usually not my favorite. Otherwise this was still a decent coconuttty tea that I enjoyed.

Such a fun blend of green rooibos, coconut pieces, and rose petals! Smells coconutty, with a little bitter from the pineapple and floral rose. Very good iced, could benefit from being blended with mango black tea for more fruit flavor and depth.

Delighted to find a tea containing coconut that doesn’t feel like it overpowers every other flavor. I could definitely taste the pineapple, which I adored. This tea is bright and refreshing, and I can’t wait to try it iced. Even warm, this was a wonderful blend. Nicely done!

CommuniTEA portion: Cold Brewed for about 11 + hours. Really tasted the coconut and pineapple. Aroma took me back to the beach - which I welcome every day! Nice blend - would buy more to keep on hand for a great cold afternoon or evening treat.

This Communitea packet surprised me with how much I liked it. Really nice tropical flavor. The hibiscus and rose were very subtle, which was good as I don't care for those flavors. The main flavors to come through were coconut and pineapple.

CommuniTEA Sample: When hot this tea wasn't bad despite the sunscreen aroma. As soon as it cooled just a bit though, yuck. If you're a coconut and tropical flavors person this is probably right up your alley.

Thanks to CT I have realized that I enjoy flavors of green rooibos, pineapple, coconut and having non caffeinated beverage options in my tea cabinet. The Green Rooibos Paradiso blend checks off all those boxes plus its delicious hot and cold.

Love this! I haven't tried the tropical flavored teas before communitea, but I'm learning that was a mistake. Coconut and tea are the perfect combination! The rose is subtle, so if you're not a rose person, it might still be worth giving this tea a try.

I am learning that I really like green rooibos tea and this is a delicious one. It has a great tropical flavor of coconut and pineapple, not too much of either so I can still taste the underlying tea. This is going on my wishlist, I steeped for 5 minutes at 212 degrees.

Green Rooibos Paradiso

Recommended Steep: 5 minutes @212°F

I steeped this blend for the recommended time at the recommended temperature with 11 oz of water and 1 tsp of rock/tea sugar.

Upon opening the packet a very strong, almost bubble-gummy aroma became apparent. It was actually a pleasant aroma, not cloying or overly sweet. Coconut, pineapple and what seemed to be banana were most noticeable, even though no banana was included in the ingredient list. Maybe is was aroma by association.

The aroma does not fade during steeping or while the tea remains hot. It does fade a bit as it cools, but I think that is to be expected.

The color of the liquid is a light caramel, or possibly amber which is quite pretty. At first the strong scents, along with the temperature of the tea interfered with what I could taste. I was unable to differentiate any specific flavor by mouth. I did so mostly by scent. What tastes like a mixture of tropical fruit with maybe banana and coconut and pineapple are at the forefront as it cools.

A mild, not unpleasant tropical aftertaste lingers once the cup is finished, but not for over-long. I think I could have done with a little less sugar, as this blend has enough natural sweetness on its own. I think it would make a very nice ice tea. This blend rates 4.75 stars from me.

Wow! This is a non-alcoholic pina colada on steroids in tea form. I did a luke warm steep but suggest cold brewing for summer.

These tea leaves smell heavenly. I expected the tea to have a strong fruity flavor but it actually has a mild tropical taste. The ingredients blend together making it difficult to pick out any dominating flavors. It is quite enjoyable.

I have a couple of rooibos faves and this is right up there at the top of the list with the rooibos pecan turtle and rooibos vanilla chai. All three are excellent rooibos selections. This green rooibos Paradiso have wonderful flavor and aftertaste. It is sweeter than the other two I mentioned which is fine with me :) It doesn't seem to have a floral tone to it, even though there are the rose petals in it, but it may be that they add to the overall delightful flavor and my tastebuds are just not sorting out their particular contribution. Really really an enjoyable cup.

I never met a green rooibos blend I didn't like, and this was no exception!

★★★★★

This tea smells like pinacolada and brews very coconut-forward. The tea looks beautiful with rose petals, but there is just enough floral and fruity taste to compliment the lingering creamy coconut flavor of this tea. It is really pleasant and enjoyable, but I advise against brewing this long, as the flavors become rather muddled beyond the 5 minute brew point. GR Bonita is more fruity/peachy and GR Key West is more floral, but Paradiso definitely tastes more tropical than the others. The other two might make a better iced tea or rebrew, but you can t beat the first sip and the rich coconut cream flavor of this tea. @adagioteas

Me: I'm probably not gonna like this. Coconut? Pineapple? Green roibos? Eew. But look, I'm gonna try it bc I need to step outside my comfort zone.
Me, upon first sip: Okay this so good it should be illegal. Nothing with these ingredients should taste this good!

This tea is an absolute delight! Banishing any thirst away, each sip leaves you with a crisp, refreshing taste dancing on your tongue. While if better hot or cold could be debated, though I do tend to lean more towards cold, what isn't is its place in my home.

I first tried this blend with the complimentary communiTEA I received a while ago. I liked it enough to order a sample size and after a few more cups, I realize that roobios tea may not be my favorite. However, I do love all the ingredients that are included, which give me a tiny tropical escape in the middle of a dreary, cold fall day.
