In the bag: Most of my packet is rooibos. Two chunks of dried apple. Several yellow marigold flowers.
On the nose (pre-steep): Slightly bitter orange pith is the strongest aroma. I also smell orange proper and some lemon. Other citrus flavors are here but I can't tell them apart.
On the nose (post-steep): The citrus flavors have taken a back seat. Now, the slightly grassy, kinda woody aroma of green rooibos is driving.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Same flavors as the post-steep scent.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): No change in overall profile. I recommend a SMALL amount of sweetener, as it's easy to overpower the delicate flavors.
Opinion: Meh. Not bad, but not fantastic. It's just not that exciting.
Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

This is one of my favorite summer teas; it's good hot or iced. The citrus flavors meld well with the green rooibos. I can taste the tang of the orange and the lemon, but not so much the mango or apricot. However, it's still pretty darn good for an herbal tea.

A very strong smell of citrus and lemon, with the lightness of a green tea...I liked it, though I agree the taste when compared to the smell was a bit weaker than expected.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with bright aromas of citrus. I steeped the tea for 5 minutes and it produced a lovely golden, orange cup of tea. I love the strong citrus flavor of this tea! The green rooibos provides a nice, mellow base to the tea as well.

The lemon smell escaped the package as I cut it open. No acidic tart bit. It's a mild tea with a smooth lemony flavor. Not great for a breakfast tea but perfect in the evening.

This has been one of my favorites for a while. A really interesting characteristic is that different types of sweetener change the flavor more than other teas: a little honey mellows the citrus while pure cane sugar allows it to stand out. Hm-m-m, what to try next?

This is a very light, citrus blend. Green rooibos teas do not have the woody/wet cardboard essence of the reds. It does smell like Fruity Pebbles, but has a nice citrus flavor. This is great both hot and iced.

Upon opening the packet I was greeted with a delightful lemony-orange citrus scent…Makes me eager to try this one and I'm not the biggest Rooibos fan (I'm just starting to develop a taste for it).
Hot pre-sweetener: The citrus has a slightly bitter taste with some sweetness and earthiness coming from the rooibos. So I added a bit less sweetener this time.
Hot with sweetener: This has just the right amount of citrus to be able to taste the orange and lemon, yet I can still taste the rooibos in the background. This is too tasty to let go of long enough to bring it to a chill, guess I'll just have to pick some up and cold brew it.

This tea is one of my favorites because it's just...citrusy and wonderful. I love citrus teas but this one is one of my favorites, and it pairs well with a lot of the other teas I have at home for making blends. It's just wonderous, and versatile, and great for any part of the day!

This has a mild flavor overall. Moderate generic citrus flavor with some slightly unpleasant vegetal flavors. As with all rooibos teas, it has a nice heartiness.

This has to be the best citrusy tea I’ve had. With the many different notes from the mango and apricot it’s simply delightful.

I love this tea. This tea is very good hot or cold. I tried with honey doesn’t need it. Naturally sweet and smooth

Delicious citrus notes in this one. Naturally sweet, but not overbearing. It would make a tasty iced tea for warmer weather.

Delightful light and citrusy tea. Perfect midday or evening zesty cup of tea without all the caffeine.

I really like green rooibos for cold brewing. It’s got a kind of sweet straw/hay flavor to it, and it goes really well with fruity flavors, as long as you can get a bit of savory undertones going in there, because the green rooibos itself doesn’t provide any of the medium or bottom notes. The citron flavoring in this reminds me of sugary fruity cereal.

I love rooibos but this is the only green rooibos I've ever tried so I don't know what that means or what the differences are. But this one is great hot and cold

It’s a light & lovely tea blend. I have ordered it twice now & fully intend to make future purchases of this one!

I should not have ordered this again. I forgot that I don't prefer it. The leaves come in very dry looking. There is hardly any flavor and definitely needs some type of sweetner. Not good.

This is one of my favorite classic teas.
My husband likes it as well, and he's picky about his teas.

Lovely aroma - very fresh from the orange peel. Could taste the citrus on top of the sweetness provided by the rooibos.

The citrus falvor is the perfect complement to the natural slighty tannic/cirtus flavors of the green rooibos base.

Not super strong citrus flavors, the smell is really incredible, so the flavor wasn't as strong as I'd hoped. But still a very nice and refreshing iced tea! Also didn't need any sweetener (when normally I always need a ton!)

This was another allergen for me so I didn’t even smell it. My neighbor who enjoys green teas was the beneficiary today. She’d said the citrus was good and she really didn’t taste much of the mango (which is why she got this).

CommuniTEA 7/9/22: I've previously purchased a sample of this tea, and have found that I enjoy it much more iced than hot. Citrus flavors are noticeable but not too strong. It's not my favorite of the Adagio rooibos blends but it's a nice refreshing drink during a summer afternoon.

Rooibos teas can be hit or miss but this one has a nice mellow flavor that isn't medicinal! The citrus is much lighter in this than other tea blends, but overall isn't bad at all.

Great combination of green rooibos sweetness with citrus flavors. This is plenty sweet on its own, I don't know if I could say that the taste is entirely natural but it is tasty. (212F for 5min)

coldbrewed, this is citrusy and bright! i know rooibos is a huge hit or miss for people, but green rooibos has none of the same medicinalness, so people who don’t particularly like rooibos might still enjoy this brew!

After reading some of the reviews for today's communitea, I opted to make it on ice, sweetened with 4 pieces of rock sugar. It was very delicious, citrusy and zingy, the scent was much stronger than the brewed tea, but you could counter that with a squeeze of lemon or some fresh lemon zest grated in.

CommuniTEA portion: Totally getting the fruity pebbles vibe on this one. I cold steeped this 20 + hours to enjoy later in the day. Not overly citrus to me. Rather enjoyed this one as a nice summer afternoon sip. Not sure I would order a large bag but I might try a sample again.

A punchy citrus zinger! Not in a way to make your mouth pucker, though it is a lemon-ey, sweet, delicately orange punch. Do you know what this blend is in tea form? A spoonful of Fruity Pebbles with emphasis on the yellow and orange pieces. It's got the barest hint of tart to hide around the edges of your tongue whilst the green roiboos unrolls and smoothes the yellow carpet out for lemon and orange to do their thing. Mango comes out a little more as it cools. Really, it's like drinking the milk [minus the milk] from a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and you know what? It's pretty great.

Lemon and orange flavors are bright without being overwhelming or sharp. Unfortunately, they are so strong that any other fruit flavors and even the taste of the green rooibos are washed out. Nonetheless, this is a refreshing citrus sip.

Update 2022: I steeped this hot with added orange and lemon peels from Selafina using 212 F water x 5 min. Later I poured over ice and OMG it is THE BOMB!!! I added the 5th star.
This has a very strong citrus scent on opening the CommuniTEA packet. The taste was not as strong though. This seems to be a common theme for several of Adagio's citrus flavored teas. This particular tea i really enjoyed because it did not smell or taste like Pledge or other cleaning products. It simply put a smile on my face. ;)

I steeped this tea with rock sugar and took just a few sips of it hot and warm. I decided to chill it and have it iced with my lunch. It was truly delicious, though not as good as Green Rooibos Bonita. I brewed at 212 degrees for 5 minutes.

Today's CommuniTea packet was green rooibos citron, made with green rooibos tea, orange, marigold flowers, mango pieces, apricots, and orange and lemon flavors. It smells very citrusy, but after cold brewing it, the taste didn't necessarily keep up, so I added a shot of orange juice. :-) Cold brewed in 12 ounces of water overnight, with a fine-mesh strainer.

The combo of green rooibos and citrus was nice here. The citrus wasn't as distinctly orange-y as I would have liked, more like generic citrus rind flavour, but still not bad. At least it wasn't grapefruity.

I’ve only recently discovered green rooibos, but this is one my favorites so far. It’s a wonderful blend of lemon, lime, and sweetness. I’ve seen comparisons to Froot Loops and they’re absolutely right.

As many have already stated in their reviews, I was expecting a lot more taste for a smell that big. The WHOMP of citrus that hit me in the face was overpowering was I opened my packet. I was excited. Then I brewed it and it was just lightly, barely citrusy. I could use more for my taste. It smells fabulous; it tastes ok. For me, I would stick with the Key West blend that really conveys flavors if I'm going to go with a green rooibos. Happy Sipping!
UPDATE: tried this again with CT on July 9th, 2022. DEFINITELY more citrus this time around. Hooray! You get one more star, green rooibos citron, and you earned it!
