I am not a roobios fan generally, but I needed some caffeine free tea. I love cardamon, so I thought I would give this a try. I love this tea. My son also likes this tea, so we are running out of this tea quickly. I make the tea with cream. My son outs in cream and honey. It tastes like a dessert to me.

Delicious -- smells like a muffin and fulfills the craving for one without having to actually have one.

Mmmm, the taste of marzipan. Very subtle and delicious. Loved the combination of ingredients. Added cream. Will reorder this one.

Not my cup of tea, but my fiance enjoyed it! I asked him if it tasted like Almond Cardamom Cake and he said 'yeah... it tasted good. Like a food. It was acceptable.' Which isn't much of a compliment, but he's not great at those so that'll just have to do.

I'm not a big fan of roibos BUT I like to mix this with almond (or any other black tea), and the resulting cocktail is divine.
★★★★★
I have to confess... I added a teaspoon of Ghirardelli cocoa powder to this tea after having a few plain cups. It was absolutely delicious!

Bought on a whim and now my favorite herbal flavor. Just perfect with cream and sugar. Exotic flavor

I love this tea and it lives up to the promise of its name. I also love that it's flavorful, subtly but not overly or artificially sweet. This is going to be a regular rooibus go to tea for me. It's both healthful and delicious.

I was hopeful to like this more because I like almond and cardamon. It smells wonderful and was slightly sweet but this blend doesn't really do it for me

Love, love, love this. This is now one of my favourite flavours. Sometimes I'm hesitant regarding nutty flavoured teas, but it's not at all overpowering here.

This is probably a very well rounded tea for many people; for my own personal tastebuds, I could not finish it. Generally, I like the flavor of cardamom, cinnamon and almond flavored teas but this one just does not work for me. It is probably the rooibos base that turned me off. I did give it an extended steep (15 minutes) to soften the rooibos, but no luck. However, each is different, so if you generally enjoy the ingredients, give it a try.

Chai without the tea? I love the deep cardamum and spice flavor, but love that I can drink it in the evenings when I don’t want caffeine.
★★★★★
I dont drink a lot of uncaffinated tea, but when I do this is exactly what I want! Slightly earthy, definitely almondy
★★★★☆
Nice new tea! I made this chai-style -concentrated with milk and sugar added, and it was almond-y sweet, with a cardamom and cinnamon finish. A nice baked goods flavor all around. However, I gave it 4 stars because I felt the rooibos was very strong. I like rooibos, but I don't like that flavor at the front. I would've thought the almond and spices to help mellow it out- but they didn't.
★★★★★
This tea is a delicious and spicy treat! Add a little bit of sweetener to bump up the delightful flavor of almond, and don't be scared of the rooibos. This is a great tea to wind down the day with.

Thoroughly enjoyed this hot, yet it was also lovely as an iced tea. It’s such a refreshing summer beverage.

This tea was delicious. The first time I brewed it around 180 and that was a mistake. It smelled like a combination of eucalyptus and menthol, and it tasted that way too. When brewed at the proper temperature it still has a little eucalyptus-menthol flavor from the cardamom, but it's not overwhelming. There's a nice mild spice flavor and maybe a hint of almond. I add a little splenda and some half and half to make it more 'comforting.' I drank it before bedtime and it seemed to help me sleep!

Excellent flavor. Great evening tea with a bold and slightly spicy note. Got as a sampler and immediately bought more.

Best not-chai, uncaffeinated spiced tea that tastes of baked goods. I hope Adagio keeps this one in their regular line up. Or at least brings it back regularly for their seasonal teas.

Great almond and cardamom flavor in this one! It's slightly sweet naturally, and I love adding a bit of milk to it. Perfect for a nighttime drink. Bought some to try and immediately came back to buy the big bag.
★★★★★
Sweet and nutty at the same time, this is a red rooibos favorite. Added a bit of honey and it does mimic a cake.

This intrigued me because I enjoy the taste of both almond and cardamom. My Mom and Grandmother always baked with cardamom, since we are Scandinavian and I continue to do so. I was very pleased to taste this combination in a tea. I drink it with milk--no sugar needed for me.

I so wanted to like this tea. The smell is amazing, but i just was not getting the almond or the cardamon flavor to come through over the rooibos. Not for me.
★★★★☆
For a Rooibos, I don’t hate it! The almond and cardamom take center stage. For once the almond doesn’t come across as bitter either, very nice cuppa!

While I enjoy the flavor of almond and cardamom together, it doesn't seem very cake-like to me. I'm not sure what needs to be added to it to make it more evocative of cake.

A bit almondy, but not a lot of cardamom notes. The dominant flavor here is rooibos, which while good, wasn't what I was hoping for.

This tea has a mild, sweet almond taste. It accents the cardamom perfectly. It pairs well with shortbread cookies. Perfect before bed.

I wanted to like this, SO BAD, but alas that is not the case. It smells absolutely wonderful, but it is incredibly sour tasting. All I could decipher were sour almonds with a hint of cardamom notes. I will be attempting again (because I paid for it) and see if I can make it work. As of right now, I am not a fan of this particular flavor of tea.

This may very well be my newest favorite herbal blend. I really enjoy almond flavors and other blends can fall short on hitting the mark for me. However, almond cardamom cake has the right amount of almond flavor that will keep me coming back for another cup. A scrumptious sip. Dessert in a mug. I can’t get enough, I am glad I purchased the large bag size. Sweet on its own but I wanted to try the rooibos honey with it and the hoe y took it over the top yum!

I am sipping this now and it is perfection. It is all things cozy in a mug. The flavors are so well balanced and unlike any other tea I've tasted. If you like warming spices and almonds, you have to try this tea!
★★★★★
I love the almond flavor with the chai spices in this tea. Delicious with milk. I am glad it is decaf and I can drink in the evening. I will definitely rebuy.
★★★★★
I definitely prefer the cardamom in this to the cinnamon in many of Adagio's other blends. It tasted good enough that I was inspired to go off and make my own almond cardamom cake to go with it.
★★★★☆
On initial smell alone, I didn't know if I could drink this. The almond is very strong. Almost overpowering. But I'm glad I decided to stick it out. I actually had to steep it for longer than the recommended five minutes. The first sip was a little weak. After an additional 4-5 minutes, it's much better. I mostly get cardamom and rooibos, and very little almond, at least when compared to the smell I got from the bag. But the cardamom, with hints of almond, make for a nice, smooth, nutty, spice tea. I could see myself drinking this a lot in the fall.
★★★★★
What could be better than almond and cardamom together? This is a nice dessert tea, or simply nice to sip any time of the day. A little sugar will bring out the flavors.
★★★★★
A sweet tea that works well with milk or cream. Best served hot but can work as iced tea too. A good fall/winter tea.

Lovely spicy taste and smells amazing!! Tried it plain with a bit of stevia and as a latte. So good! Glad I finally got to try it!

I was very excited to try this tea. I love all things almond. When I opened the package, my immediate thought was a biscoff cookie mixed with an almond cookie. Usually, I like a tad of sweetener of some sort in my teas but this does not need it. Sugar made it too sweet. My spouse noticed a small chemically taste after adding the sugar which was reminiscent of a heavy handed pour of almond extract. This could make my list of teas to drink when I'm craving something sweet
★★☆☆☆
This tea smells amazing when you open it. Unfortunately it does not taste nearly as good as it smells. It has a weird sort of earthy flavor that I wasn't expecting and that throws off the whole experience. I tried it straight, with sugar, and then sugar and milk. Same issue with all of it. First time I've been truly disappointed by a blend from Adagio. Some people may still enjoy it, but it wasn't my cup of tea (no pun intended).

Wow! Sugar did the trick for me to truly appreciate this one. I bought it as a dessert tea for Easter. I like the look of the tea leaves with the pops of white and green front the spoonful of rooibos. This is better than drinking chai.

I first had the opportunity to sample this tea in the 2022 Advent calendar, and I could barely wait for it to become available for regular purchase. It's nutty and warming and smooth and a wonderful evening cup. The rich nutty notes from the almond balance the brighter, slightly spicy notes from the cardamom, and they complement the smooth rooibos base well. Lightly sweetened with a touch of honey, this is a marvelously comforting cup. Plus, unlike some Adagio's other rooibos selections, it steeps well a second time, particularly if left to brew a good bit longer. That said, too long a brew can yield a cardamom-heavy cup, one that truly highlights the menthol-like notes of cardamom, so I advise being wary with long brewing times (upwards of 10 minutes or more) if one prefers a more balanced cup.
