I thought this tea was great. They hit the tropical notes just right. A little coconut, a little fruit and a tiny bit floral (which was good since I'm not a big fan of floral in teas), while still letting it taste like tea. I tried a second steep. A little weak, but still nice tasting. Going on my wishlist. Tasted as part of The CommuniTea.

A warm tropical scent was present in the dry leaves and the tea produced a nice perfumed cup (5 min @212) with coconut as the most forward flavor.

I had my first cup hot with brown sugar boba and a splash of rice milk. Anxiously waiting to try the second cup iced.

Adagio has been flogging this tea at me for months, given my overall love of pu'erh teas, so I'm happy to be able to sample it. I was treated to the sight of several fat coconut slices in my packet, and a sweet tropical aroma with no low-tide heaviness to it. Just to be on the safe side, I initially filled my mug just enough to cover the leaves, waited a few seconds, then removed the infuser basket and took a sniff of the rinse water. All I smelled was tea, so back into the water the leaves went, and I topped off the mug and set my timer. 5 minutes later, I was treated to a beautifully balanced cup of earthy summer, with the coconut, apple pieces, and mango flavor bringing such an enticing sweetness to the cup that no additional sweetening was necessary. I don't usually take a second steep off of communiTEA packets because I have so many other things to drink, but this one merits a second go and a place on my summer teas list. Tastes like paradise!

The fruit flavors all meld together into a pleasant sweetness. The pu-erh provides a woody, earthy base that complements everything else well. There's a little floral flavor from the rose that lingers after each sip.

No ingredient dominates or overwhelms, though honestly the fruit could come through a little stronger (maybe I just have an unbalanced CommuniTEA packet). I think iced tea is where this variety would really shine.

I see many people noted a coconut note, I did not. I did not see any in this tea pack I recd for the comminitea. It was tasty nonetheless with some interesting fruit notes. Nothing overwhelmed me

Thought it was very enjoyable even tho I am not a fan of pu erh. Too earthy but all the other actors managed to save the show. Rose hips and coconut and raspberry and apple were major stars but papaya and mango made the tropical review too. Nicely done guys. 💗💗💗💗💗 🤗

Before steeping, I did a hot water rinse. Then steeped for 4 min at 200. It was perfect and smooth. Delicious tea

I don't get much tropical flavor, but it's a pleasant cup with no astringency at all. Very nice.

This was a nice fruity, tropical tea! I was expecting more coconut flavor based on several reviews complaining about the potency, but I didn’t taste much coconut. Mostly papaya. It could come down to whether or not you despise coconut, such that even a small amount is uninvited. I like coconut and wouldn’t have minded a bit more. But there are several other teas that feature coconut, like the pina coloada. I didn’t need more coconut, I enjoyed this just the way it was. Didn’t need to add anything.

This tea is delightful. I made the mistake of rinsing this tea the first time I tried it, which drained most of the coconut taste from the remaining tea and made it much less vibrant. It is a vastly superior tropical treat without that rinse - coconut prominent but supported by subtle fruitiness. It is a surprisingly wonderful iced as well, very smooth and lovely. But again, the first brew is going to keep most of that tropical flavor, especially the coconut. Subsequent steeps have a hint of the tropics with more fruit compared to coconut, and more notable pu erh depth compared to the tropical flavors. By the third steep, it s nice and mellow - definitely worth brewing again and again to appreciate the subtle notes (I m on the 5th brew now, still enjoyable). Overall, the smoothness and depth of the pu erh makes this a unique pairing with the tropical flavors. An enjoyable tropical mini-vacation in a cup.

Yay! CommuniTea took me on a tropical vacation in cold, dreary January! Today’s tea packet, when opened, spilled its fruity bouquet into the steeper, showing its colorful ingredients were ready to shine. Apples, rose petals, coconut and more were visible, and the fruity aroma gave an almost sneak peek into what was to come. I brewed the elixir in a full 18 ounces of 212 degree water, letting the fruit expand and the pu-erh tea unfurl and spill forth is rich elixir. Taking a sip, this tea shined as a hot tea, but it whispered to wait, and let it be chill. It promised greater things to come! Chilled and served over ice, it became a delicious iced tropical tea, better than any I’d ever had before! Most black teas I drink iced have a bitter astringency, no matter what the blend. Fruity herbal teas leave me wanting more, tasting of fruit water but not sweet or rich. This blend of fruit and Pu-Erh is a match made in heaven! Once again I’m being introduced to new flavors and experiencing new adventures. Thank you CommuniTea!

I love pu-erh, but not usually flavored teas, so there was a 50/50 chance I'd enjoy this. I was pleased that it landed firmly on 'delightful'. With a little sugar, I could taste the tart tropical fruits and the coconut lingered without being overpowering. Lovely and smooth.

I was expecting to hate this tea as I am not a fan of pu-erh or coconut, but I surprisingly liked it. While this blend smelt of coconut, it had a well balanced tropical flavor. It reminds me of having a drink on the beach.

I would never think of tasting this let alone buying it. When I opened the package I smelled..mango or papaya. As it was brewing It seemed not to get any better. I quick rinsed it and brewed for 4 min and I got to tell you boy was I surprised! Maybe because I like coconut and it leaves a nice creamy sensation in my mouth! Great way to start my Saturday.

This pu erh tea will have you longing for a tropical beach. Hot or iced, it is a coconut delight nicely blended with papaya and mango. No rinsing was needed for my cup, but I did add a touch of rock sugar to bring out the fruit. Awe, what a nice diversion for a chilly day!

CommuniTEA: I really enjoyed this tea. No flavor was overwhelming. I did remove the Rose petals as I don't care for a Floral tea and I was afraid the rose would ruin it for me. I did rinse for 15 seconds and added rock sugar.

★★★★☆

Interesting tea in my CommuniTEA packet today. It is strong on coconut and papaya, but the pu-erh is the strongest component. This tea has a distinct/abrupt nose, front and finish. On the nose, I get a strong floral rose and mango scent. When taking a sip I get a strong, minerally pu-erh taste with a nice papaya and coconut finish. My only criticism is that I don't think the pu-erh tea harmonizes/blends well with the other ingredients. Steeped this tea for about 5 mins at 212° F.

Pu-erh Tahiti is a fruity flavored tea. The coconut and papaya flavors show through, while still maintaining a definate pu-erh tea presence.

The smell of pu erh is present when I open the bag, and I find the tropical fruits quite discreet. To taste, it is a bit the same: puerh first, and then fruits (especially coconut). It's stable and a little bit sweet. It's not bad.

★★★★★

This tea surprised me. It's not as heavy and as intense as expected. The fruit flavors came though nicely and really made it feel light. It was very nice as hot tea but I let a bit of cool in the cup and I think it would also be a wonderful ice tea.

★★★★★

I loved this one. Smooth and subtle with a hint of underlying sweetness all on its own. The tropical fruits mingle in the background but don't overpower the tea. I enjoyed it hot without any sweetener or creamer, and have a feeling it would be spectacular cold-brewed as that would likely bring out the fruit flavors even more. (5 mins at 212F)

I am mixed on coconut in tea. I love it in some teas but not in others. This one was good with tropical paradise flavors of papaya and mango paired with the woodsy taste of the Pu erh.

I'm not a pu-erh fan, but I received this one in the CommunuiTEA box and gave it a try. I was surprised by how much I liked it. When brewed, it smelled slightly of pu-erh 'fishiness,' but I did not taste that. The flavor is mostly coconut and tropical fruit. I'd personally like it better with a base other than pu-erh, but it's not bad.

Reviewed as part of the communiTEA: really didn’t think I would like this tea but was pleasantly surprised! And my batch didn’t have any coconut so I was HAPPY about that!

★★★★☆

Nice tropical treat! Can really taste the papaya and mango with a hint of coconut. I was grateful the coconut and rose petals weren’t prominent as they aren’t my favorite flavors in tea. Will be icing my second steep as I bet this would be a great summer iced tea go-to!

This was such a tropical treat. Papaya and coconut are amazing together I didn't even notice the Rose. I prefer this as an Iced Tea. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA January Box.

Yum, a tropical getaway in a cup! This tea was great both iced (1st steep) and hot (2nd steep). The flavors most identifiable were the apple and coconut, with a general fruit medley backing them up. It had a nice balance of sweet and tart, with a smooth, earthy tea base. Even forgetting about the 2nd steep for who knows how long, it still produced a smooth, tasty cup. It was delicious plain with no additions. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 1st steep 5 min at 212F; 2nd steep 10+ min at 212F)

A light fruity scent escapes the packet as I open it. My sample has all the elements listed, apple pieces, raspberry pieces, coconut and a lone rose petal. I did a rinse to be on the safe side, but ended up drinking the rinse water as it had no traces of fishiness! The taste is nice, a light exotic fruitiness, but I feel that there is more aroma than there is taste. I only get the coconut in the aftertaste, but this does get stronger as the tea cools. This was a nice cup, very easy to drink, I actually think that this would probably make a spectacular iced tea!

I’m a big lover of pu’erh, tropical fruit & coconut ... I was stoked! Absolutely everyone was present in my communiTEA packet. Mild coconut, fruit, and rose aromas were noted. One ginormous coconut slice was excited, and was rockin’ back & forth. He was ready for action. I performed a pu’erh rinse check and determined that none was needed. Topped off the steeper, and on we went.

When hot, wonderfully mild fruit, coconut and pu’erh hay & earthy flavors were noted. A wee bit of sugar was added to help stave off some rose hip tartness.

When warm, moderate individual fruity apple, papaya, and raspberry flavors were noted. Coconut flavors were moderate. Mild rose petal & hip floral/tart flavors moved to the background. The Pu‘erh flavors remained mild throughout, and thus provided a great earthy base for all the other flavors to sprout and shine. A very nice smooth nutty mouthfeel was provided by the coconut. A second steep was just as flavorful, but milder in tastes.

This was a superior multi-layered drink worthy of sipping on a tropical beach at sunset. Kudos to the Adagio Blendmeister! (5 mins @ 200ºF, 1/8 tsp sugar)

This is a nice fruity tea with the coconut giving the fruit flavors a nice balance. It seems a bit too fruity to me with not enough of the tea flavor. If you like your fruit flavors to overpower the tea, you will likely enjoy this tea.

Wow. When the packet is first opened it smells like a lovely sweet wine. That is lost during the brewing but there is still a wonderful fragrance to it.
The smell is totally eclipsed by the taste. It’s a soothing balm to a very cold morning. The coconut and papaya whisper spring to my eager ears.
Great tea.

I love coconut so looked forward to trying this tea! The tea smelled wonderful as I opened my packet...a nice blend of the earthiness of pu-erh mixed with the lovely scent of roses and fruit. I'm getting over a cold, so added in a slice of lemon to my ingenuiTea and a thin slice in my cup. Brewed 212F, 4 minutes as I like a bit stronger brew. Lovely taste! Earthy tone of pu-erh mixed with coconut, apple, rose hips and the fresh lemon I added to the mix. Very soothing for my sore throat. Nice! Did I read that this blend is being discontinued?? I'm going to order a bag before it goes...I enjoyed it!

This tea came in the communiTEA. Unique blend. There seems to be pros and cons by looking at other reviews, but I quite liked it. I usually like to drink pu-erh tea straight. So I enjoyed trying something new flavor added. This tea has many ingredients; puerh tea, apple spices, rose hips, coconuts, papaya flavor, rose petals, raspberries, mango pieces, natural coconut flavor.
I would say that the coconut flavor was a little strong.

Tropical translate into coconut flavor which is one of the few flavors that makes me crinkle up my mouth in disgust over memories. I also steeped my first bag at four minutes instead of five which seemed to be perfect, but I'm not planning to experiment further.

Part of the January 2021 CommuniTea box. Not a fan of pu-erh normally, but this was fantastic - the scent out of the bag reminded me of a sangria, and the flavor in the cup was a tiki party in my mouth!
