Good tea, not quite fruity, but it hits just right.

Very refreshing and summery. I did not think I would like this much because I am not big on papaya but it was well blended. The coconut stands out of course and you get a hint of tropical fruit with nothing else I could really discern in terms of flavor. It drinks like an oolong more than a Pu-erh to me because no fermented taste but I really enjoyed my sample and can see myself ordering this again for the Spring or Summer. It is very easy to brew, you don't have to worry too much about brew times or using too hot of a water, there is no astringency to this tea. I prefer it plain without sweetener or milk (maybe coconut milk would go well with it) because fruit and milk to me don't seem to mix and it is sweet enough on it's own without additives.

Very tasty, I added a bit of sugar. It tastes like tropical fruits.

It's heavenly. The fruity flavors all balance together in such a wonderful way into a drink that's perfect for summer.

This tea has a very nice blend of fruit flavors that make it an excellent iced tea for this summer. It is good as a hot tea, also.

This has become my 33 year old grandson's favorite tea. It goes to work with him to the Navy shipyard nearly every day! Go Adagio. He drinks it out of a unicorn cup and at first got a lot of gaff. Now he has several other ship builders joining him for tea.

★★★★☆

It's really good, but I think the earthy pu-erh just doesn't blend well with the tropical fruit. The upside over a fruity black tea is you can't over-steep this.

I love the earthy, rich flavor of Adagio's flavored Pu-erh teas and this one satisfies nicely. The addition of the various fruit flavors works so well even the pesky rose petals don't interfere with a delicious cup of tea.I actually steeped it Grampa Style because I was too tired to retrieve a clean teapot. Thanks to the nature of fermented tea there was no bitterness, just a few floating fruit bit to nibble!

So layered- it changed as I sipped and the tea cooled. The earthiness of the puerh made a great backdrop for the cocobut, papaya and mango. Would make an excellent iced tea. The tropical kick that gets stronger in flavor as the tea itself cools down.

Today’s communiTEA smelled great in the packet though not so while steeping (and not in the regular pu-erh fishy way but I rinse regardless… still unpleasant). Happily the taste after steeping 195F for 5min was back to pretty great: smooth for sure, certainly fruity but not aggressively. Of particular note, rose and coconut were present. Often for me either one could easily hog the spotlight but here they played perfect supporting characters.

Today's CommuniTea packet is pu-erh tahiti, which is made with pu-erh tea, rose hips, coconut, rose petals, raspberries, apple and mango pieces, and papaya and coconut flavors. I love visually appealing tea and this one gets full marks, both in colors and and the different shapes and consistencies. I always rinse pu-ehr on principle and and both lower the temperature and cut the steeping time, otherwise I find that it's a little too earthy for me. I brewed in 12 ounces of 195-degree for about two and three-quarter minutes. It was smooth and not too strong for me, always a good thing.

I am not the biggest fan of puerh it's often to woodsy for me. But the coconut is very forward, followed by the fruity flavors. This one is very good iced and sweetened!!

Not a huge papaya fan, or coconut for that matter. So not my cup, but still nice!

Allergies took me out again. I had my sister try this one out. She could taste the papaya and coconut. Not a huge coconut fan so while okay was not a top contender.

An ok tea that didn’t blow me out of the water. I felt like it couldn’t decide exactly what it wanted to be. Not fruity enough to really be tropical summer, but too much fruit to really support the earthiness of pu-erh. I couldn’t find the happy middle ground on this one to love it. But I enjoyed it enough to happily finish one cup!

Update 6/2022: My CommuniTEA packet had the listed ingredients except the mango pieces. This time I decided to do a 15 sec rinse. then I steeped 5 min using 195F water. This helped tremendously! I added 1/2 tsp honey and 1/4 tsp cream which made it a smoother drink and hid the earthiness of the Pu-erh fairly well. The second cup had no additions for lack of availability at my office. The first was better by far. I think I plan to rinse any pu-erh teas even if they don't have a weird smell.

My CommuniTEA packet did not have any coconut pieces, mostly apple and rose petals and hips. The first steep i made into a slushee which gave me only tastes of coconut surprisingly. The second steep I drank hot after a 3 min steep at 195 min. While hot it tasted strange and none of the flavors came through. I had to add a sweetener and cream to make it bearable. As it cooled the coconut came shining through. Even though I generally do not like coconut that is what made this tea not just bearable but enjoyable as it cooled. Not a tea I will be purchasing.

EDIT 6-13-22: Today's CommuniTEA is Pu-Erh Tahiti, which is one of my favorite teas. I would also recommend this tea with burdock and black tea honey, or even lemon balm and black tea honey. Both are good. :)

ORIGINAL: Pu-Ern Tahiti teleports you to an island with these flavors! I brewed mine with some butterfly pea flower, dandelion, hibiscus, mango, orange peels, rose hips, rose petals, and fruit tisanes honey. Every sip was so full of flavor, it was amazing!! I would highly recommend this tea!!!

I did the sniff test for this Pu-erh tea. It didn't smell fishy, so I didn't do a rinse of it. The tropical flavors instantly transported my to my favorite beach on Aruba. I prefer it iced, but it is also delicious hot. But, why would you have a hot drink on the beach?

Lovely little brew~ Smooth pu-erh tea, with the coconut and fruit softening it up. Perfect iced on the first round, a little hard on the coconut, but on the second round it was a lot more fruity. Not good hot on the first round, but great iced.

I couldn’t drink this tea today because of caffeine problems, but a friend tried it and said it was fruity and nice! I’ll have to get some later for myself because it sounds interesting!

I'm wary about pu-erh teas but this one is tasty! The tropical fruitiness comes to the forefront - including coconut, which is noticeable without being overpowering. That can be tough with such a strong flavor! The pu-erh itself has a nice, rich earthiness that balances everything well. A very nice cup of tea!

I was a bit concerned over the combination of coconut and pu-erh, combining something so sweet with something usually quite earthy and occasionally rather bitter clashed in my mind. I was pleasantly surprised by this blend. It is very sweet and the earthy aftertaste goes really well together. As the tea cools it gets even sweeter and the other fruity notes comes out.

Rating this based on the blend, it is a decent blend of flavors (pu-erh and pineapple) though I would have liked to have more coconut flavors. I do not, however, care for pu-erh tea and would give this a lower rating based on my personal preference.

I cold brewed this overnight and added a little sweetener. I am enjoying PuErh Tahiti blend very much! Tastes coconut forward with pineapple sweetness grounded in PuErh earthiness. I have not tried it hot so I can only attest to cold brew and it is tastey!

The cold-steeped glass of tea I brewed from this CommuniTEA portion surprised me. After about 16 hours in the refrigerator, the color was much lighter than I would have guessed from a pu-erh. Still, the brew produced a nice, light flavor that was coconut forward. Now, I do not particularly care for coconut, but I found this variation on coconut tea more acceptable than some. Though I couldn't really detect much flavor from the fruit players in the blend, I can only surmise that the pu-erh added enough depth that it softened the coconut. For someone who doesn't care for coconut teas and has an iffy relationship with pu-erh, this tea was pleasantly tolerable.

CommuniTEA Sample: A very nice tropical puerh that doesn't really have the earthy flavor that a puerh normally does. Light, fruity, and yet grounded in a good way. I enjoyed it hot, but I'm sure it would be great iced as well.

Beachy fruit flavors pop first on this sip, followed by woodsy pu-ehr flavor and creamy coconut. Papaya flavor stands out - I'm not usually a big papaya fan, but this flavor was well done! This fun blend feels like an island adventure.

Try it iced says Adagio... pu erh iced? I like pu erh tea, never have had it iced before. With the tropical flavors it worked well! Very coconut, slightly fruity, and still very pu erh. It was very enjoyable, I made it strong with about half the water you would normally use, so the ice wouldn't water down the flavor too much. Added a bit of sugar while still hot, I like my iced tea sweetened. It was good, and high in caffeine? I felt pretty awake after drinking it this good stuff!

Oh what can I say about this tea? I am a lover of Pu-Erh so I knew that I would like it. Often I get excited about flavors but end up disappointed. However, this one really hit the mark for me. I loved the zing that I got from the pu-erh and the flavor was lovely!

I really like Pu’erh tea. This one has tropical flavors in addition to the woodsy ones in the tea. It gets better as the tea cools. I steeped at 200 degrees for 5 minutes and did a rinse first (which didn’t need to be discarded). A little honey and my cup was all set!

This tea is surprisingly sweet for a puerh, and the tropical flavors don't overpower the tea.

Pu-erh Tahiti

Recommended Steep: 5 minutes @212°F

I steeped for the recommended temperature and time in approximately 11 oz of water with 1 tsp of rock/tea sugar.

This tea smelled sweet and fruity upon opening. It is a very pretty tea with rose petals, apple and mango pieces, etc. I have found that I seem to like Pu-erh blends, so I was really looking forward to this cuppa. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The tea didn’t live up to the aroma’s promise at all. I found it very weak. In all fairness, I may have used a little too much water. I don’t normally weigh my tea, but I haven’t any problems in the past using the CommuniTEA mug and the CommuniTEA samples. I believe that this is the first blend, that I could not finish. I tried to, but gave up. I just didn’t like it for some reason. I hesitate to give this such a low rating, and I’m sure others will really enjoy it, but I didn’t...not at all. I wish I had. 1 star from me.

UPDATED from 6/9/21: What a wonderful woody coconut aroma, as the packet opens, with no fish smell there is no need to rinse the leaves ahead of time. Happily there is a large piece of coconut amongst the ingredients. This steeps at a slightly lower temp. The tea is a rusty red/orange with a strong coconut aroma. It is mild and sweet. A true delight as pu-erh teas are strong and full bodied. This one is unique with the coconut flavor which takes the hay flavor to a whole new level. There is no bitterness from the raspberries or rose hips. Drinking this is like a hike in a tropical rainforest (which I have experienced) only without the humidity! There is the damp earth, the fresh green flora, and the sweet scent of flowers. The coconut is the treat at the end of the hike. It does not need sweetener and it remains tasty as it cools, too. This one is going on my list. ( 5 mins @ 200F)

This blend was smooth and creamy, but I felt like the coconut overpowered the other flavors. As coconut is not a flavor I’m terribly fond of, this made the blend just ok for me. If you like coconut, I imagine you’ll love it.
