This a wonderful flavor of hot tea, I add some sugar free flavored syrup to it.
Pu Erh with rich hazelnut and playful strawberry with a hint of cream.

This a wonderful flavor of hot tea, I add some sugar free flavored syrup to it.
I was looking forward to trying this one but it was just kind of blah. Very plain tasting-not much berry flavor.
Pu-Erh Hazelberry is exceptionally smooth with the flavor of the cocoa nibs and strawberry coming through most strongly. This was my first Pu-Erh, and it will now certainly not be my last! Up until now my favorites are usually green teas, but this has been perspective changing.
Maybe some people like it but definitely not me. Only two stars from me
I love pu-erh tea and this is a great mix of hazelnut and strawberry flavors. I don't taste the chocolate at all but I really like this tea, no sweetener necessary.
Do you like hazel becouse thats all you can taste? Vary strong but cut with milk and honey its not to bad.
Hazelberry is a rich, powerful tea with a strong nose, and a complex taste. On first opening the pouch, I was hit with the overwhelming feeling that I had just stepped into a cross between a salt water taffy shop, and an ice cream shop. While some people may find that scent overwhelming or overpowering, I was very excited, and hurried to make my first pot.
Brewed, the tea still smelled sweet, but the hazelnut came much more to the fore, leaving the strawberries and cream behind. The colour was a rich, dark brown that was nearly opaque, and quite beautiful.
I tried it first with no sweetener, reasoning that, since it smelled so overwhelmingly sweet to begin with, that it might taste that way, too. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, although I got some notes of strawberries and cream, the tea was not sweet at all, and let through the tea flavour of the Pu Erh quite well. However, I do prefer my teas sweetened, and added a teaspoon and a half of sugar to my teapot. (1.5 liters)
Instantly, the strawberries and cream were back in full force, with a slight lingering note of hazelnut on the back of the tongue and a tea-y flavour that gradually came more and more to the front as the tea cooled.
A second steep at 212F for seven minutes revealed a lack of strawberries, cream, or hazelnuts, in favor of a quite strong Pu Erh flavour that I nevertheless enjoyed. I sweetened this pot with one large spoonful of honey, and that seems to have overpowered any of the potential lingering flavours, much to my regret.
Overall, I enjoy this tea immensely, and definitely recommend it. I will be buying it again, and remembering in the future to only sweeten lightly with sugar.
Addendum: On lingering over the pot of Hazelberry that was sweetened with honey for a few hours, I have concluded that I do not care for that particular combination at all.
Like a Ferrero Rocher meets fresh strawberry compote. This was delicious and decadent with a splash of vanilla oat creamer.
This flavor combination felt a little off to me, but if you really like strawberry it is worth a try.
So I love Pu-Erh but this Hazelberry version is so delicious. Creamy vanilla like notes start on your tastebuds with a hazelnut afterglow. Absolutely perfect tea, Hot or Cold. Totally didn't know what to expect with the floor but I love it. Smooth and wonderful tea.
This tea is hard to mess up. You can't burn or over steep it
I have to confess this is my first Pu-erh, I was afraid I would not like the fermented flavor of them. Well, I did not even notice it! This blend is so good. You can taste the earthy flavor of the tea, but it blends very well with the nutty and fruity flavor of the strawberry and hazelnut. I was pleasantly surprised.
My friend loves it! Not a fan of playing pu-erh, the addition of nut and berry flavors changed the game.
I wouldn't have guessed that strawberry and hazelnut can make for a delicious pairing, but this tea proved me wrong. Sweet and fragrant, the pu-erh tea helps the fruit and nut flavors shine brightly without intruding on them. A warm and comforting blend, perfect for afternoons spent reading.
Does the job and tastes great! I highly recommend this tea to anyone who would like to adventure into trying Pu-Erhs.
i just got this in the mail today. i was really hoping for a strong tea flavor with a hint of fruit. what i got was strawberry cough syrup. no hazelnut flavor, not even a tea flavor. i tried several steeps and they kept getting progressively more like cough syrup. i cant even give it away because it smells awful and nobody will take it. i dont recommend it. im
going to try some other black teas, but i wont be buying this again.
I really liked this tea. There’s something about the hazelnut and strawberry mixed in with an earthy tea base that just hit the spot today.
As a person who doesn't love hazelnuts all that much, I truly enjoyed this tea.
This was a good tea. It was not as good as I expected.
An interesting smell upon opening today’s Communitea packet and an interesting tastes as well. I enjoyed this tea’s subtle nuttiness.
tried mine which chocolate whipped honey, it was okay
This is a nice cozy tea😊. Earthy with hints of hazelnut and cream. Subtle strawberry is a nice touch. Overall a nice combination. I tried with and without sweetener. I liked it plain. And enjoyed with a little honey. Lovely dark amber color. Perfect fall weather tea.
I had this side by side with Twyla's Kicked Up Hazelberry and the latter wins. This one is good, but I prefer it in blends rather than solo.
The hazelnut scent is very strong in dry tea, but once brewed puerh is the dominant scent. It tastes amazing. The flavors blend nicely, maybe a bit light on the strawberry. I added a splash of oat milk and sugar.
A strong hazelnut aroma upon opening the packet. Some cocoa nibs, but I don't see any strawberry pieces. 2 min @ 212 no rinse. This is my first pu-erh tea and after reading about pu-erh fermentation, I was worried about how this would taste. I'm pleasantly surprised I enjoy this tea. Delicious hazelnut flavor with a slight sweetness. Very smooth and mellow, no astringency or bitterness. I don't detect any strawberry, but maybe that's where the sweetness comes from. If it was low/no caffeine I would definitely keep this on hand. I drank this cup easily and I'm off to resteep.
I don't tend to go for hazelnut flavors, and I can certainly taste the hazelnut in this, but it really works for me in this tea! It goes very well with the strawberry.
I could enjoy this one without any sweetener, but I added some monk fruit, and it is very good with that, as well.
5 min @212F
I really don't care for this one. You can plainly taste the hazelnut and the strawberry, but not the tea. It's like flavored water. It reminds of the time, as a kid, that I tried putting water on my fruit loops because we were out of milk.
I used to buy this one all the time, but it doesn't taste the same now. Seems like something in this blend changed. It's still a good tea, but not as flavorful. The strawberry profile is not as strong as I would like, but good old hazelnut picks up the slack. The pu erh goes down easy with no hint of bitterness. Still an enjoyable cup; just not my favorite anymore.
I liked this tea more than I expected- I don’t tend to enjoy hazelnut.
An earthy, grounded pu erh with delicate strawberries, cream, and hazelnut flavors.
I like this one, a good early fall sip, nice earthy tea with a nutty and fruity addition added in..
Not great but not bad either. Just the middle of the road for me.
I have wanted to try this for a while...Thank you CommuniTea! I always get a earthy woodsy feel with pu-erh teas. I rinsed before steeping and added cream and sugar. It's well rounded and smooth. Nutty, mild chocolate, strawberries and cream. It's delicious!!!
The person that discovered berries mesh well with hazelnut deserves a prize. This stuff is delicious.
I love a good pu erh, and this one is very good. Those hazelnut and strawberry flavors mix well and remind me of walking through a candy store that makes its own candies. Hints of sweet berry and the earthiness of old fashioned confections, I want to keep this tea in my go-to collection for sure!
Earthy, Fruity, Magickal,
..a Hazelnut&Strawberry Soiree! I have also LOVED this Pu'erh in blends! (5 mins @ 212°)..with a bit of sweetener to bring forth that berry note.
Warm and delicious! The hazelnut and the earthy pu-erh pair work so well together, and the mild fruitiness of the strawberry lifts the flavor. Perfect for an autumn morning. Will buy again.
Absolutely loved this tea, it is very delicious iced or hot. I would buy this again, I’m very happy with my order
The flavors in this pu-erh blend are a bit more distinctive than the chorange, but not as much as I would have liked. So it's a bit of a miss for me, unfortunately.
It smells lovely, though.
I have read how good Pu-Erh tea is and it's was delicious. The hazelnut undertone flavor made drinking it so enjoyable. Defiantly, a warm weather tea.
I love pu-erh teas, and I love fun flavors, so I had to try this. I expected to get more berry/fruit flavor, but this is more hazelnut/cream forward. Tasty with milk and sugar
This is my favorite morning tea blend. If you steep it for a full 10 minutes it gets nice and strong without becoming bitter.
Wasn’t sure about those one but to my surprise I really enjoyed it. I don’t think you can go wrong with any flavor of tea from this company.
Quite delicate flavor, more reminiscent of assorted Chinese herbs than of the fruit and nut notes listed-- which is not a bad thing, it tastes nice.
The epitome of tea excellence. I'm hooked on the exquisite taste and aroma of this remarkable blend.
Wow. Never tried a pu-erh tea and chose this one as it was top rated here. It's exquisite tea and delivered a flavor I wasn't expecting. Not sure what I was expecting but this was a lovely roasted tea and the hazelnut harmonizes perfectly with it. I think I can taste the strawberry too but I know I love the overall flavor and will be enjoying more pu-erh teas in the near future. I just love discovering new teas.
Incredibly delicate taste for a pu-erh. The hazelnut, strawberry. and cocoa all come through, while still allowing you to taste the tea itself. I love this tea, and will definitely be ordering more in the future.
Loved this tea. Not fishy at all, as I have heard some others say. Ive recommended it to others for gut microbiome reasons and it has been a godsend!!
Strong , so I add 1/3 when brewing other black/fermented teas to add good flavor when in the mood for a change. Does not taste 'fake' and just right at this level. Can be steeped multiple times.
This is my husband's favorite Pu-Erh and we have tried many! This product is very lightly sweet without having to add any extra sweetener.
