i wasn't sure about this as i'm not fond of hazelnut but it's quite good, earthy and sweet. i like it even more with a little cream.
Pu Erh with rich hazelnut and playful strawberry with a hint of cream.

i wasn't sure about this as i'm not fond of hazelnut but it's quite good, earthy and sweet. i like it even more with a little cream.
Very earthy. I liked it, but the sweeter flavors of the strawberry didn't work for me with such a dark, already sweet tea.
The aroma is so comforting and relaxing. It was delicious. The chocolate is sublet and the hazelnut is delicious.
Ohh this is good! The hazelnut is subtle, but I definitely get a little bit of nutty flavor, and strawberry notes. I added a little milk, and that makes it creamy as well.
Excellent. The savory, fruity and creamy. I will get this again.
If I could envision a lovely fall day through the forest as a cup of tea, this would be it. It's earthy with a pinch of sweetness to liven it up a bit. If you've never had a pu erh tea before, I'd recommend starting here.
love the warm hazelnut flavor, really accentuates the tea. Roommate complained that it was a bit too artificial, though.
This is my first pu erh and it is wonderful! I bought the sample but I will definitely be purchasing the larger size. I added a little honey and it really brought out a kind of fruity sweetness that is delicious. I read somewhere that with this type of tea you should rinse the leaves first which I did and then brewed per the instructions. Highly recommend!
excellent and excited regarding probiotic. Only concern is gave to my niece and she has a nut alergy
Really enjoyed this blend! The strawberry flavor is evident, especially when you smell the tea, but it's not cloying. The pu-erh provides a depth of flavor. A great afternoon treat or replacement for that crucial afternoon coffee.
ADAGIO'S pu erh teas are excellent quality and flavor. Pu erh hazelberry is a favorite. Love the combination of strawberries and hazelnuts. Pu erh teas are the perfect tea to drink to aid in digestion. Especially if you have overeaten or consumed too many rich foods.
The smell of this is amazing! My cereal loving boyfriend identified the scent of Trix/Captn crunch with berries. Thats the only nice thing about this tea. I followed the brewing instructions but added more water since clorange Pu erh was bitter (another tea on this site) and after two 15 oz cups Ive declared this tea AWFUL! What was worse is after drinking EVERYTHING, including water, tasted bitter! My mouth stayed this way for three days strait. Im happy I only bought the sample size. Im not going to force myself to drink this tea, I think my tomatoes will enjoy this better as fertilizer.
I have to admit to this being an acquired taste. I thought it was interesting on my first cup, OK on my second, good on my third and now has become one of my all time favorites. Not sure how to explain the progression, but I truly LOVE this tea.
First pu erh. Ordered the smallest size based on reviews. Hard to resist taking the lid of the jar just for the wonderful smell while preparing another tea. Will order the sample pack next to try other pu erh teas but this one is a winner
There was something off about this mix to me. I'm not even sure what exactly I was tasting in this, but what ever it was, I wasn't a fan.
Love this tea...a delicious taste and great knowing I am drinking something that is beneficial to me and a pure tea.
Amazing blend! I was shocked at how delicious this tea was at the first sip The pu-erh is mellow and rounded, and the hazelnut and strawberry add the perfect amount of sweet comfort to this blend. I love drinking this at night with honey and cream as a yummy bedtime tea. It makes a great milk tea. Definitely my new favorite blend.
I was quite hesitant to buy this, however, I was very surprised. I like the berry undertone, and the pu erh (which can be very earthy) was delicate tasting. This is the second time I ordered it, and will order this tea more in the futiure.
I really enjoy this and is becoming one of my favorites. As odd as this sounds, it reminds me a little of captain crunch but in a good way, not an overly sweet way. It's one of my favorite to restrap throughout the day.
One of the best teas I've ever had! Delicious and subtle strawberry and chocolate flavors. Definitely will order again.
For me, this tea with a little milk added is better than a cup of hot chocolate. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, and strawberry flavor usually puts me off, but it blends really well with the hazelnut, cocoa and cream flavors.
I think it's just me and pu erh teas. It has an earthy aroma, but I'm not as fond of the taste.
It's different but I like it, I can taste it he berry & the hazelnut. I will prob buy more of this one.
This is a tea that took a few tries to grow on me. I was initially put off by the minerality of the tea, a feature that may be exacerbated by the hard water found in my area. However, I now enjoy the berry flavor and light sweetness. This is a good tea to resteep.
This is my favorite tea that I've had so far. I love both Strawberry and Hazelnut and the two of them together are delicious.
This is the first pu erh tea I've tried. I wasn't sure what to expect (hazelnut ... with strawberries?) but there's something so lovely and comforting about it. When I opened the sample pouch for the first time, I couldn't believe how good it smelled. I definitely pick up the hazelnut and strawberry flavors and they go surprisingly well together. I am now hooked on this tea and drink several cups a day at work.
I like to sample tea, but very few warrant getting a bigger bag. This, however, is one of them. It punchy and strong, and good for my sweet tooth. Bold and sweet.
Nice strongly flavored tea. Nutty and full of berry flavor. This tea is a favorite of mine.
I really want to love Pu-erh teas, but after trying a couple of them (Rishi, Numi), I still wasn't sure if I liked it or not... I usually find them a little too earthy and woody for my taste.
Well, I may not be a big fan of classic Pu-erhs in general, but this flavored Pu-erh is something else... It is delicious and decadent! I guess the strawberry lightens up the earthiness perfectly and the hazelnut makes it smell heavenly!
My husband is not a tea drinker at all, but after tasting this one, he had two cups in a row and asked for more the next evening.
If you want to enjoy the health benefits of Pu-ehr and still indulge your senses, you must try this one.
Loved the peppery taste. This will be a staple of my tea drinking stash.
Pu Erh Hazelberry is a good intro to pu-ehr teas, which are still growing on me. This particular blend has some fruitiness, but really tastes like Cap'n Crunchberries... in a good way!
I understand why many rate this highly, but it was way too earthy for my taste.
Wanted to try a pu-erh tea and thought this would be a good one. Unfortunately, after one cup, decided it wasn't for me.
I love puerh teas and have not much experienced with 'flavored' puerhs. I was skeptical but will admit this is delightful. The hazelnut take the dominate flavor profile but that is fine by me. Strawberry is still easily detectable and adds a wonderful cream into the blend.
Strongly recommend and plan on repurchasing!
Pretty good, however I do like it with a fair amount of sugar
Has a very strong hazelnut flavor, not so much strawberry.
I took a risk and ordered the largest size I could for this. The first sip of this tea confirmed I made a wise choice. It has the smooth earthiness of the pu erh I got from the better tea club, with the lightness of the berries. This one is absolutely one of my favorites.
This tea smells like nutella. And if you put a lot of sugar in it, it tastes like nutella as well.
This just isn't for me. It's good for what is is, but I don't love the hazelberry and pu reh combo.
TRY THIS! This tea entered my 'Top 5 List' after the first cup. I imagine we are all sick to death of hazelnut, especially in coffee, but the delicate fragrance of true hazelnuts is light and lovely along with pu erh tea which is smooth - NEVER BITTER. The 'berry' comes from actual pieces of strawberries and it is only enough to add a fresh and light aroma while sipping. The tea steeps into a rich red-brown, GORGEOUS. I have left the brewing basket in accidentally for hours and when I got home, I tasted it and, although the flavor was too intense for my liking, there was NO BITTERNESS, WHATSOEVER. This is a smooth, flavorful and fragrant tea - try it, try it, try it!
My husband and I LOVE this blend. It has an aroma not unlike captain crunch and brews up into a full, smooth cup of sheer delight!
Very nice tea with just enough flavoring to smooth out the edges. I infuse the leaves several times, first at 3 min, then 4 min, then 5. I may be able to get a fourth pot before it tastes like colored water.
As soon as I took my first sip of this tea my immediate thought was 'this is probably the best tea I've ever ordered from Adagio!' I absolutely love everything about it, and will definitely be ordering more. This is a tea that I could see myself enjoying in the fall, but I'll gladly have it year-round!
*update*
I lowered this review by two stars because I'm not sure if they changed something about this, but it just doesn't taste as good as my last reviews says anymore. Something about it tastes weaker (no, it isn't because of my preparation).
Delicious flavor even without sugar. Really complex blend!
This tea really shines as an iced/cold tea, but I find the flavor less appealling hot. It is deliciously fragrant, and I'll add brown sugar in place of dessert when I want something sweet. Thiis tea is forgiving if you steep overly long.
The hazelnut comes through stronger than the strawberry, but overall this is a delicious, rich, strong cuppa.
Another fine pu erh tea I enjoyed. I think I like the pu erh spice much better, and I probably won't be buying this one again, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it.
This might be the first fruit-flavored tea I love...The pu erh base gives it a richer, less astringest base than a lot of flavored black teas. I taste more hazelnut than berry but there's just a hint of sweetness. This in rotation with Golden Monkey are my current favorite winter teas.
The aroma of this tea is amazing. It's creamy and sweet on my tongue and I can taste the hazelnut. I will be ordering this again soon since I only got this as a sample.
I have and like several puerh teas. It's always a matter of how much you like that 'earthy' taste. This tea has great flavors that let just a bit of that earthy flavor come through. Nutty, fruity and earthy! I really enjoy this tea and will soon move up from my sample size to a larger bag!
