This tea can stand to be steeped a little longer than the oolong I'm used to. For me, the perfect steep is 3 minutes with this tea. The vanilla flavor is not pronounced, and is in fact stronger when the tea is cool. As an experiment I used this tea for multiple infusions (3 cups) and it was great every time. The aroma is nice too.
I like to add this to a green or white tea in the morning to give it some mild flavoring. It is very mild but good.
This is my first oolong and I loved it, the vanilla makes it so nice.

A perfect balance between flavor and scent. The vanilla scent makes the tea a joy to brew up and the taste is a tummy calming wonder. All around a great tea.
I tried flavored oolongs, and was hoping for some kind of climactic tea moment, but the fact is--if it's flavored, the leaves aren't usually as good. And with an oolong? It's just a shame...

Without any sugar, there is a hint of vanilla. With a small amount of sugar, the vanilla became very noticeable, but not overpowering.
I ordered the this along with the almond oolong and the coconut pouchong teas. This is my favorite of the three. I like it both hot and iced. Very nice subtle vanilla flavor with a nice smooth aftertaste.
I'd been blending my own vanilla oolong and then found it on this site. I love this tea and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Comfort in a cup.

Very good subtle Oolong tea, I don't like it as much as I had hoped I would, but it is exactly as described. It have a noticable Vanilla taste/scent and is much better with a little milk added. Kudos for making this vanilla actualy reflected in the taste!
This tea is wonderful. It doesn't have the overly sweetness of the bad artificial vanilla, it's more of a smell of vanilla with a great undertone of the taste. I will be getting the bigger size.

This is a slightly earthy oolong, with a very natural vanilla flavour. Oolong and vanilla work well together, and you can taste both in this tea. The flavour you get, however, is very mild. I steeped it for 5 minutes and I still couldn't get a strong flavour. Nevertheless, this tastes very nice. Not an everyday cup for me, but definitely a good option when you feel like drinking a smooth, mellow tea.
One of my favorite oolong teas. But I am a lover of just about any tea combined with vanilla. This one has an excellent aroma and after taste.

My favorite of the flavored oolongs. Vanilla flavoring does not overpower this tea. If you like your vanilla flavoring super strong, then search elsewhere. There are also some mild earthy notes in this tea. The smell is like unsmoked vanilla pipe tobacco. I'm not a smoker, but that is one smell that I really enjoy. I need to find it in a potpourri or cologne.

Not as good as the vanilla green tea to me. Smells very natural but the vanilla flavor does not come through quite enough.

I like this tea even better than the vanilla black tea. There's no "chalky" feeling in the mouth or aftertaste, as I sometimes get with the regular vanilla black tea. It's perfect- exactly what I was looking for in a sweet, delicate vanilla tea. I will definitely be stocking up on this!

I enjoy vanilla flavored teas, expecially black and green so trying the oolong made sense. I comes as no surprise that the tea flavor falls in between the above two but doesn't really make a statement of it's own making me feel that I should have made either the black or the green. The vanilla is quite nice and strong enough to make this a pleasant alternative. It is doubful that I will by this again.
I really enjoy Adagio's oolongs and this one is no exception. Very nice to mix with other flavored oolongs to give a wonderful variety to my tea stash.

very good oolong tea, i liked this alot. great oolong flavor, and the hint of vanilla was a great addition. ideally i would prefer more vanilla flavor, but i like a lot of flavor. i added a bit of mint to this tea and made a great vanilla-mint blend!
A really mild tea. I felt like I could taste the vanilla more in the oolong than I could in the black tea flavored with it. Vanilla and oolong was kind of a strange combo but it wasn't bad at all.
Vanilla is a pretty good compliment to a medium tea like oolong. Just don't expect to get much oolong flavor.
