I was a little nervous about this tea because I was afraid the vanilla might be overwhelming. However, it turned out fantastic and the vanilla did not cover up the flavor of the tea at all. In fact it just warmed everything up. This one will be great blended with peach oolong

★★★★☆

Light flavor, tastes really good on its own or mixed with honey bush, nice and sweet and a little bit of honey brings out the flavor.

★★★☆☆

This one is just ok. The vanilla flavor is oddly dry and powdery.

★★★★★

It's a really nice, mellow oolong that goes great with a little milk!

★★★★★

I've never tried oolong tea before so this one was a first. I have to say that this is now one of my favorite teas.

★★★★★

I like the occasional oolong, but I'm picky about them, so I was glad to find this tea. I love the strength and sweetness of this tea. It's strong, but not too strong. it's sweet, but not too sweet. Definitely going to be a good tea to have around when the weather really turns.

A nice cup of tea with just the right balance of lightness and flavor. Did not get much in the way of vanilla flavor, however, just slightly on the aftertaste. Smooth and comforting but I was disappointed I couldn't taste more vanilla.

★★★☆☆

To me this tea was very underwhelming. Out of the pouch it smelled phenomenal. Almost like chewing tobacco (Red Man, I think). The taste was ok, but I expected more distinction in flavor. I tend to steep for longer amounts of time and believe in heaping teaspoonfuls.

I got this as a free sample and I LOVED it. Can't wait until it's time to restock so I can get a huge bag of this!

★★★★★

When I opened the package, i could instantly smell the vanilla. This tea is light, fragrant and lovely. Would recommend sweetener though.

★★★★☆

This is such a light and tasty tea that I mix with others to make new blends.

★★★★★

Just got this tea after doing the tasting in the store with friends. I think everyone bought it. It's delicious! I have also blended it with peach oolong for iced tea.

★★★★★

In one word? Yummy. Okay maybe two words. Reorder!

I am trying to venture outside of my grassy green oolong comfort zone and decided to try the vanilla oolong since it has such great reviews. When I opened the bag my first thought was 'WOW! this stuff smells like a nabisco factory' it smells soooooo sweet and warm in a good way. I had to try it right away. I normally drink my oolong straight but i put a smidgeon of honey and a splash of milk in this and swear it tasted like dessert. Especially for someone like myself who generally does not use much sweetener. I will say that the smell before you brew makes you think it will be a lot stronger than it actually is. The vanilla flavor was very mild once brewed. While I enjoy this tea it will not be my everyday staple. Now that the cold weather is approaching it will probably be a snack or comfort drink...I don't like eggnog.

★★★☆☆

This tea has a bit too much vanilla flavor for my taste.

★★★★★

I liked this more than the vanilla black. The lighter base complimented the vanilla more.

★★★☆☆

Light vanilla scent dry, only gets one steeping. Had to add more leaves to my pot when I refilled it. I taste more oolong than vanilla. Vanilla scent was light after it steeped.

★★★☆☆

When I opened the bag, my reaction was literally 'oh my GOD that smells good!' Fortunately it tastes great too! The description is rather accurate. It does taste a lot like a cookie!

★★★★☆

This was pretty good at just a level spoon per cup. But a heaping teaspoon gives it too much of a peppery flavor for my liking, but my wife loved it.

★★★★☆

This is just a really nice tea. I like to use it to wind down at the end of the day.

This tea is a nice dessert alternative. It's sweet, but not too sweet with a lot of flavor.

★★★★★

This is my favorite oolong tea ever. This tea is great any time of day before, during, or after a meal.

★★★★★

this is a very tasty tea. It is creamy and sweet but the flavor of the tea still shines through the taste of vanilla. It is only good for one of two brews.

★★★☆☆

This tea wasn't my favorite, there wasn't much flavor in my opinion. I wasn't bad though.

★★★★☆

Oolong is a great afternoon refreshment if you're sensitive to caffeine.

★★★★★

Vanilla is, again, a hit. I wouln't add anything to this, but tastes pretty ok with sugar.

★★★★☆

It was a little darker than I like, but the flavor was good and add a little splash of cream and some sugar and it's pretty good.

★★★★★

Reminds me of toasty marshmallow for some reason. But I love it. :D

★★★★☆

The vanilla flavor to this oolong was surprising to me - it tasted a bit medicinal, but perhaps it was just the water I was using. I bought 3 oz. of this tea though so perhaps my feelings will change!

I was really excited when I ordered this tea but I had no idea how much I was going to enjoy it! The Taiwanese Formosa Oolong, which has naturally both sweet and earthy flavors, is heightened in this tea with the added sweetness of vanilla. The vanilla is not artificial in taste, and gives you a comforting sensation when brewed hot, and a deliciously refreshing boost of flavor when iced (without overpowering the natural flavor of the Formosa Oolong). This tea is thus incredibly versatile and now my new favorite!

★★★★☆

Adding some honey and a touch of milk, the tea is quite sweet. Really good vanilla flavor with minimal aftertaste of the oolong.

★★★☆☆

It's a good tea. I prefer the flavored vanilla. Thought I'd try different teas, but I prefer the other.

★★★☆☆

a little darker in taste than I thought. Still good vanilla flavor almost has caramel notes to it.

★★★★☆

My first taste of an oolong tea, I quite enjoyed it. I am looking forward to trying others.

★★★★★

By itself it tastes like creamer. So I skip adding milk to this all together.

This had a great taste. Much better hot than cooled and refrigerated.

★★★★★

I found this to be quite lovely and much better than the black tea blend, which smells great but is kind of lacking in depth. This doesn't actually taste much like oolong to me, but I don't consider this a bad thing since this sup of tea is a really nice experience.

★★★★★

Absolutely delicious! I blended it with white strawberry and pomegranate green, and I loved it.

★★★★★

smooth and rich flavor, a bit nutty tasting and creamy. its delightful!

★★★★★

The hint of vanilla is just right, and I like oolong tea for its smoothness.

★★★★★

This was the first oolong tea I tried. I like anything with vanilla so this one is a good choice.

★★★★☆

Tasty, refreshing iced, but I prefer the Almond Oolong.

★★★☆☆

The vanilla makes it a bit too sweet for my liking.

★★★★★

The oolong vanilla is a good black tea with the hint of vanilla. The vanilla aroma fills each nostril as you lift the cup for each drink.
Soothing flavor and smell. This one is a keeper.

I like vanilla anything, so this was a big hit for me. I make it creamy and thick with some milk sugar and it's just perfect for a cool summer evening.

★★★★☆

Doesn't resemble vanilla at all to me. The flavor is quite strong so I like to cut it with a flavorless black or oolong tea (fujian rain) to mellow out the flavor. Not bad though. I like it.

★★★★★

A really good vanilla flavor in this oolong. Try it. You won't be dissapointed.

★★★★★

Sweet, but not overly so. I like it best when blended with an almond oolong.

★★★☆☆

Good tea if you like vanilla, but Im not a big fan of oolong.

★★★★★

I love vanilla and have a pretty demanding sweet tooth, so naturally I enjoyed this tea immensely! Sort of like the liquid equivalent of a sugar cookie. I'll definitely purchase more!
