Recently retried this after getting a little tired of it a while ago. Now a favorite again. Mixed in a little dewy cherry and it was delicious. Not my morning tea but great the rest of the day.
Naturally sweet oolong from Taiwan and pure vanilla. Brown sugar, honey notes and warm cookie-like flavor.

This is the first time I've tried oolong team. I didn't care for it at all.
This has the perfect blend of vanilla flavor with the tea. Delicious.
This was my first adagio tea, and still one of my absolute favorites! Yummy and light!
Adagio's almond and vanilla Oolong teas are what originally made me addicted to this brand. Wonderful flavor, very comforting and doesn't get bitter when you steep for extra time.
It's sweet and warm and a perfect option for the current fall weather!
I really enjoyed this tea! It's smooth and sweet and I'm glad I chose it as my first oolong. I will definitely be buying more.
This is a really smooth tasting tea. I love the vanilla
This tea is my favorite everyday, every instance tea. I drink at least 3 or 4 cups a day, have since I lived in China 10 years ago. But, this one pound bag of the Phoenix Pearls has such large, fresh pearls that I can instantly tell the difference than any others I've tried. Pretty good job Adagio! You made a tea I thought couldn't get any better just that! I am now a loyal customer for your one pound Phoenix Pearl tea.
A great oolong either on its own or mixing it with other teas to give it a more sweeter yet robust flavor. Delicious straight or sweetened!
I'd say this tea has more woodsy notes rather than sugar cookie. However, it's still a wonderful cup that has a lighter vanilla flavor instead of being overbearing.
I really like the flavor of this tea. Perfect for a cold day.
I heard about oolong tea helping with weight loss, so I ordered the Vanilla oolong tea. I've already lost several pounds drinking 2 cups a day! It not only works, but tastes GREAT!
Love this tea. Great base for making my own personal tea mixes too
My son loves the vanilla teas. I find them a little sweet. He takes his with milk, which may make a difference.
Very rich, earthy, and comforting flavor. The vanilla really mellows it out and is a lovely aroma and flavor, while the oolong tea has a more roasty flavor.
I much prefer a black tea and vanilla but this is still quite nice.
i thought this would be more florally then it was, but i enjoyed it for what it was a nicely roasted oolong and rich flavor palete
Just OK, but certainly not as great (to me) as the Darjeelings
Pretty good. Could use more vanilla, but maybe that's just me. It mellows out the oolong nicely.
Nice smooth blend with lots of vanilla flavor. Will purchase again.
My son just loves this one, and as an oolong goes, it has just a hint of that vanilla flavor everyone loves. A great tea all day long!!
Light, tasty and a bit smoky hint of vanilla. It's a hit!
I'm not much for sweet tea but this has a light touch of vanilla while still tasting like an oolong tea
If you like oolong tea, you will love this tea. It's a slightly sweeter, less bitter taste than traditional oolong.
Ah-may-zing!! This is such a fabulous blend of flavors with just a touch of vanilla that goes nice with the spices. Not heavy at all. Great tea for morning or when you need something hot and tasty
I absolutely loved this oolong tea. It has a strong vanilla taste.
Has a lovely vanilla flavor w/o that weird artificial after taste you can get with some vanilla products.
Strong, creamy vanilla, faint smoke, RICH tobacco notes---like sticking your face into a fragrant mountain of the sweetest pipe tobacco. Just the littlest bit of floral notes accentuate the vanilla. Amazing with a little honey, and equally delicious iced.
Just don't over-brew, because the tannins in this can be a bit astringent.
One of my new favourites! Smooth roasted and vanilla flavours mix and create a soothing cup of tea.
It is good. I will be buying it again. It is a good.team to mix with others.
The vanilla taste is strong but not overwhelming. I will definitely get more.
I really like the flavor of this tea. The vanilla is subtle and delicate which I like.
Bought this tea because I read a review of the 'berry creme compote' that said this tea mellows out the berry tea's tartness. I probably haven't found the right ratio of teas, but I don't think it does. This tea is much better by itself!! Sweet with a hint of smoky, this tea was surprisingly like a sugar cookie. But it definitely needs sugar to get there (not much though), and you have to be very careful how you brew it or else you get a nearly flavorless grassy tea. Granted, I am very new to loose leaf tea, so I am probably doing a million things wrong, but the fussiness of this tea is the only thing that keeps it from being 'great' in my book.
This is a gift for a friend that absolutely loves vanilla oolong
The vanilla flavor is subtle but lovely. I will definitely order more or even make a blend of it and the almond oolong.
This morning's pot was Adagio's Vanilla Oolong. Although the website advertises the tea in terms of sugar cookies, I can't imagine a less sugar-cookie like vanilla tea. It has a wonderful vanilla aroma, but its taste isn't sweet. It's got flavor notes akin to the smell of baked sugar. I liked its complexity and character. I'm going to make sure I make the next pot on a morning when I have two brain cells to rub together so that I can appreciate it more fully than I did this morning.
I think this tea would be spectacular iced, particularly with a little bit of the sweet vanilla-flavored syrups that are often used for coffee drinks.
Lol I try to make these sample bags last a while but I went through the whole bag in one day, so if you're wondering if its good or not, this tea is the best and I love it.
This is the best of the oolongs that I have tried from Adagio, but it is a flavored tea. It has a pleasant nutty flavor.I do like unflavored ones as well, and I am looking for a big-flavored oolong. It benefits from an extra added half scoop. Great aroma
Pleasant and simple, exactly what I was hoping for.
A little too dark and not enough vanilla to be sweet. Tastes mostly like Ceylon Tea. Maybe my batch is off. Either way the oolong tastes great. I would possibly add more vanilla to the mix!
Yet another delicious oolong! I liked mixing this one with peach oolong for a peaches and cream taste but alone it is toasty and earthy and sweet.
I love this tea! Another one of my favorites. The vanilla is a nice smooth and creamy flavor.
This tea was amazing. I love plain oolong tea. The vanilla flavor added in was just wonderful. It was so smooth on my taste buds. The vanilla was just enough to add that smooth flavor without being overpowering. I will be ordering a bigger bag of this when I get the chance. It will be one of the teas I will add to my tea cabinet.
This is one of my all time favorites. This tea is smooth and needs no sweetener
How delicious! This tea has a smooth taste all on its own, which is quite enjoyable, but blended with any other tea (i prefer the fruits) it gives it a nice creamy flavor!
Extremely aromatic, sweet, and warming. A good tea for cold mornings.
Always loved the taste of vanilla...This is no exception !!!
I have never tried oolong tea before this, and it's really good! I normally can't stand hot black unsweetened tea, but this is amazing! Totally would suggest for anyone new to oolong tea.
I served this at a recent luncheon. My friends loved it so much we used up the entire pouch. It was great for an afternoon lunch and if there was any left, I would have tried it for evening..LOL. I definitely need to repurchase.
